So I don't know how many of you know but I go to debating tournaments fairly regularly and this weekend was no exception.

Well, it was an exception in that for the first time I managed to make it into the knockout rounds! My partner and I made it to the semi-finals and then got to the final! Unfortunately, my partner was so appalled and offended by the semifinal motion that he demanded that the team who write the motions apologised and then when they refused to he walked out so I didn't get to speak in the final =(

Still, an amazing weekend!
