  1. Jacob is bored again and you people need to make him not-bored, for he is your god.

Having another I-want-to-write-but-have-killer-writer's-block moment... so back to well of tried-and-true blog memes I go:

Ask me whatever and I'll answer it and shit. Nothing is off limits and stuff... well, except questions I've answered before maybe... I might have a new answer, though... so ask away.

Or you don't have to if you don't wanna.

I'd like it if you did, though.

    Don't feel obligated, though.

Fuck it, the title killed ...
  2. New Liberals aren't Liberals

    by , 20th December 2010 at 03:06 PM (Pop-Pop in the Attic: in 3D)
Author's Note: This is a sort of continuation of ideas and opinions I've covered in previous entries. This time much more general, essentially.

You know who I’m talkin’ about. Those pansy-ass douchebags who are more concerned with making sure no one ever feels a little offended than they are sending Obama a loud, clear message of; “Stop being a pussy and tell the right to fuck off.”

They make me ashamed to call myself a Liberal. They want to control what can ...

  3. How we can solve the summer vacation problem

Now, as we all know, over summer vacation kids lose a lot of knowledge they've learned over the school year. This is a big deal! Some, to attempt a solution, have proposed that we abolish summer vacation entirely.

There is a simple solution to this problem. Admittedly, it would require an overhaul of the current system, but that, I think: would be well worth it:

    Year-round school ...
  4. Well would you look at that, I've been here for 2 years...

    ...and 6 days.

I'm not the type to count posts or keep track of time... but I just looked at my join date and was all like; "Say what?! No way it's been two years."

Honestly, the only reason it surprised me a bit is because I'd never found a niche forum to get that involved in. I usually hang out for about 3 months, then get bored...

I don't know what it is about you guys that has made me so damn complacent... but I don't think I like it... ...
  5. Scott Pilgrim vs. His Own Fanbase

    by , 10th December 2010 at 05:46 PM (Pop-Pop in the Attic: in 3D)
When Scott Pilgrim vs. The World released in theaters, I didn't see it. I typically have a problem separating a film from its fanbase, especially if that means I have to go see that film with that fanbase. Even when the majority of the flick's fanbase straight-up doesn't get the material, I usually play it safe and wait for DVD.

You see, I hadn't (and still haven't) read the comics behind Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, so my only real ability to judge what this film was going to be ...
