Look, I know that Nintendo has taken a more casual approach to their gaming platforms and have been very successful doing so with the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS.

Still, it bothers me that so little new info is going on at Nintendo. I mean, as a loyal Nintendo fan for 20 years now, I know that Nintendo can be very low key and secretive when it comes to their new games, but they have gone to new extreme to remain hush hush with their newest projects. I mean look at the games we know of that are being publish by Nintendo this year of the Wii and DS, so far.

Wii: Mario Power Tennis (re-release of the 2004 GCN game with Wiimote controls)
Pikmin (re-release of the 2001 GCN game with Wiimote controls)
Punch-Out!!! 3
Wii Sports Resort

DS: Pokémon Platinum (U.S. release)
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon
Mario and Luigi RPG 3 (working title)

Is that it?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I mean where is the hints of the next Legend of Zelda?

Or Mario?

Or Pikmin 3?

What about Pokémon Gen 5?

What’s going on with those games?

Will we even see them or happen?

I know that Super Smash Bros. Brawl may have been over-hyped (though personally I like visiting Nintendo’s site to find out about the latest updates).

Plus, you can say that part of the problem is that most of the big Nintendo franchise have been release for the Wii and DS, but still I would like to at least have a hint of what’s next at Nintendo?
