I got a free SoulSilver today because my mom found it in a backpack. I have started a new game and will probably develop it (i.e. make it not crap) in the summer. For now, however, it will be a storage box.

My brother, torterra82, got a HeartGold from the same source.

Do I really need to put a title every time?

I got my sixth and seventh badges! :D I played for about five hours on Sunday because I only had one piece of homework and it took about 10 minutes. I guess I had tons of work because it was nearing the end of the quarter, so I did it all with mediocrity and procrastination. Yay!

I will work on catching Mewtwo in FireRed some other time.

I haven't played Black for about two weeks now because I have had too much homework. This is because my teachers suddenly think that it's OK to give tons of work all at the same time. I had to make orbitals out of clay (s, p, d, and f -- I hated the damn f's), I had to make a persuasive speech, I had to take a very hard Algebra II/Trig test, and write a history essay, on top of all the normal work they give me anyway.

I also have not been playing because my Serperior is really bad. Go figure. I was using my brother's Zekrom to plough through everything the last time I played.

Today is pi day! But it was ruined with homework. :(

I caught Victini in Black. I have five badges and I am underleveled. But it is a well-known fact that the rate at which one acquires badges is inversely proportional to one's courseload (ask my little brother; he already finished the game).

I got Pokémon Black from GameStop yesterday (I preordered). My brother got White from Target (also preordered, but he got a $5 gift card D:<). But I like it.

The IR trading is my favorite so far because it's faster than normal trading, you don't have to go the Union Room, and you can access your box in the field. I haven't tried the new GTS yet or gotten the Liberty Pass yet (Wi-fi being screwy), but when I get a FC, I'll post it here.

In other news, I caught Articuno in FireRed.

So I went to GameStop today for the Celebi. I preordered Black (because now my bro wants White; I don't know what's so appealing about trees). So yeah. This is the first generational transition I've experienced since I started playing Pokémon in June 2008. There is one week left of the Generation IV era in the United States. Dialga says さようなら~

I've been trying to update the blog every Monday. You might notice this is Tuesday. I forgot. :D

Anyway, in the usual theme of my blog posts, I got Crown Suicune yesterday. Sadly there is only one more Gen IV event, and it's at GameStop. Which means I have to drive there. And I don't have a license. So my parents have to drive me. What fun.

I am also planning to buy Pokémon White, as my brother will be buying Black. I have not preordered; too much work. I could preorder when I go to GameStop this Sunday, I suppose.

This concludes another blog post. I feel like this blog is really egotistical because I only write about myself, but I don't know who or what else to write about. Suggestions are welcome.

It's Valentine's Day :P

I have gotten the Crown Entei in Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and SoulSilver by Wi-Fi. As mentioned before, I missed most of the GameStop events and I wouldn't have driven over there three times anyway. Besides, it's much more awesome having an OT of "WIN2011"!

I caught Zapdos and Moltres in FireRed. I hadn't played FireRed in a couple months, so I figured I might as well start developing it.

And I made some edits to Pokéteca for the first time in a couple months. It is the Spanish-language member of the Encyclopaediae Pokémonis, and we could use a lot of help with updating Pokémon articles for Generation V and making articles for all of the moves. If you speak Spanish, please consider helping us out.

Also (I know this is late), I would like to welcome Pokémon Central Wiki into the Encyclopaediae Pokémonis.

Got it yesterday at 20:00 on Wi-Fi. It appears that, in addition to there being no IP discrimination, one can get it as long as it's February 7 in Europe.

Beat my brother in Egyptian War.

The Black Eyed Peas were, in my opinion, terrible in their performance at the Super Bowl. I guess they forgot their Auto-Tune.

Lastly, my DS was being uncooperative yesterday (it only turns on some of the time. Therefore, I used my brother's DS, knowing that it may change my Friend Codes and erase my Pal Pad. It didn't. Nintendo was making empty threats in the game manual. ;-)

First blog post in quite a while...

Happy new year everyone!

I just thought I should make a post because it has been so long. I'm still pretty inactive on Bulbapedia, mainly doing grammar/spelling edits every once in a while. I'm usually on Wikipedia.

Some game news:

I have surpassed 300 Pokémon in my HeartGold Pokédex.
My DS works intermittently at best. I am debating whether to buy the 3DS, but USD 250 for a handheld?
I just got the Ash's Pikachu event at Toys "R" Us (I live in California, USA). I missed the GameStop Crown Beasts events :( but hopefully I can get those on Wi-Fi (yay for no IP discrimination!)

I'm also not sure if I'm going to buy Black/White. My brother has initially said that he will not buy it, which made me not want to buy it (I can't complete my Pokédex easily or do trades easily). However, I might just buy both of them, or if the review is good, he will buy them.

Nothing interesting really happened today...

However, yesterday (4 August for persons in UTC-7) I saw the sixth Harry Potter movie. I thought it was good, especially the special effects, but... it wasn't as funny as the commericals made it seem. Of course, Harry Potter isn't a comedy, but if they make commercials like that they really should make it funny.

School is starting soon (D:) but at least it's a new school (which is all indoors...Air conditioning in the summer! [I hope]).

I also found a star note, which is a special type of banknote found in the United States. But since I had to work for it, (and because it's in horrible condition) I'm going to spend it.
