Yeah. TPCi INTENTIONALLY chose a name that was "offensive" to their censors. Out of all the names they could have made up, they knowingly chose that one....As you pointed out, due to the censor that prevents Pokemon with offensive nicknames being traded on the Global Trade Station, an English language Cofagrigus cannot be traded without a nickname.
I'm going to be honest and say that I hate the localized names this gen and will probably continue to use Japanese names, and this is ultimate proof of that.
