I'm going to revive this series because I'm on spring break and with the international B/W release, I feel like I am solid as far as the generational shift goes. I have no idea what kind of order I was going in, but I don't care. I'm going to review a couple of Pokemon that deserve reviews. :D
50 HP / 75 Atk / 75 Def / 65 SpA /
1. It's kind of disappointing how people are still going on about Zelda's 25th anniversary, while Pokemon's 15th barely caused a ripple outside of Pokemon communities. Is 15 not old enough? I feel like Pokemon is more nostalgic than Zelda for my generation since we were there for its inception, as opposed to Zelda which had several games released before they were a sperm cell in their father's testes. The point is not to complain about "omg u gaiz r 2 young for zelda, pogeymanz iz the best",
An exam tomorrow, quiz Thursday, and tourney on Sunday. I'm a little stressed but I hope I can do it.
The tournament will be GS cup rules (aka VGC rules), with all Smogon ubers banned.
For starters players must use either Pokémon Heart Gold/Soul Silver (this is done so that flat battling can be used) and each individual must bring their own copy of the game and their own DS.
Now onto the rules…
Each match is played using the Pokémon Communication
So my university is hosting a big gamer tournament and HG/SS is part of it! The full rules haven't been released yet but they're doing flat battles or some shit.
I'm nervous though; no one I know plays competitively but there's bound to be a couple of competitive people there. I'm always bloody nervous before a tournament and apparently the prizes are good so I'm out for blood. ;_; The organizers are also noobs so they better not make some bullshit rules like Nintendo does. Of particular
I feel really bad that I don't have the time between school and social obligations to go to every individual thread and help people with their teams. So many teams get posted but I only have the time to do my moderating job. I could still do it if people specifically PM'd me teams, but I feel like I should be an active member of the forum rather than just mod. For those of you who take the time to help people out with their teams, thank you very much. :)
