Okay, if I were Ash, I'd swear off blimps for life. Bad things happen to him when he flies in them. Of course, the way episodic TV works, something bad is guaranteed to happen to him no matter what he does.
I'll bet Brock would've loved to stick around just for the hula girls. Of course, I don't think getting "lei'd" would be his ultimate plan. Wink wink nudge nudge.
Hey, wasn't one of the jerks beating Lapras the same guy who Ash ran into back in Neon Town?
Nice to see Our Gang didn't get their butts chewed off after last ep's crash-landing. Anakin Skywalker would've been proud.
As you may recall, the Indigo League Conference completely blew out my Nurse Joy Counter, because I wasn't sure how many of the Joy Clones we'd already seen. Plus, there was a Joy Clone in the first movie that has so far gone uncounted, partially because I'm not sure specifically when the movie took place and because the canonity of the movies is still under
So Oak asked Our Gang to go to Valencia Island as a favor for him, but didn't offer any ideas on how to get there? Figures. And I'd love to hear Ash's ideas on how to walk to an island. Might be fun to watch him try.
So a blimp ride was the best way to get there, and there just happened to be a lottery drawing for a blimp ride? And it just happened to be for three people? And Ash just happened to win? Anyone else get the idea that it might've been a setup?
Here's something interesting: this ep was named for something that only took up about the first half of the ep. Then again, Japanese cartoon eps are often named for something from only one scene, so this probably isn't too big a deal.
Nice welcome-home party for Ash. And nice of everyone to not point out how it ended for him. Not nice for Gary to not be there; otherwise, he might've been honored as well.
Watching the TRio smother the food in super-hot sauce remindede
Geez, ya think TPTB might be going overboard with this whole "friend" thing? This is the third consecutive ep with "Friend(s)" in its title. Maybe they should've gotten Tea to make a crossover from Yu-Gi-Oh!
I was right last ep--Ash was putting up an emotional front so he wouldn't look sulky, like in this ep. But why were the adults so dopey about how he felt? Not that Misty was much help, either.
So who was Ash 2.0 battlng? I think her name was
