So, BMGf, I write this blog post, looking for comments... What do you think I should do? Should I import Soul Silver, or just wait for the English release and get Heart Gold?

Well, I made my choice few days before this update. I've pre-ordered it. So... Yeah... Yay me, or something...

Recently, I have been trying to upload my battle video against Dahlia. Sadly, every time I attempt the upload, this bright and happy little fellow appears on my doorstep. He doesn't come with with a present, not even a single flower. Just a lovely bit of annoying news...

The error itself says there is an issue with my DS. I find this to be unlikely, since I have tried to upload a video with a second DS (A DS Lite this time), and a different game, to the very same error filled result... So, why does this error keep knocking on my doorstep when I try to use the new Pt features of the Global Terminal, but keeps away when I use the GTS, or Mystery Gift?

I have heard that others have been plagued with Mr. 10610 and his boxes of annoying news, but everyone I know that has had this issue, still manages to get their Battle Videos uploaded. Is this a trial of Nintendo? Am I just to continue trying to upload this video, and keep getting visited by this stalker? Or, is this a case of time to replace my DS, and hope for the best?

...Okay now, seeing as I have let my frustrations out in a productive form... Anyone else getting slammed by this visitor when trying to use the Pt features of the Global Terminal? Anyone want to share their stories of Mr. 10610? Feel free to leave comments. ^_^

UPDATE: Seems since I got my Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector, I haven't been seeing Mr. 10610. Hurray!

Legendaries. Too many, or not enough?

Legendary Pokémon, some of the most powerful, and most majestic Pokémon in the world of Pokémon. Each generation has had these amazing Pokémon of legend, and each generation had released more legendaries than the preceding one. Are there too many of these Pokémon being released? Should Game Freak slow down on this wave of legends?

Let us look at the generations in order:

Generation I: Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Mew.
Generation II: Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi.
Generation III: Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys.
Generation IV: Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Dialga, Palkia, Heatran, Regigigas, Giratina, Cresselia, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus.

In simple numbers, we have 5, 6, 10, and 14 for a total of 35 legendaries.

Don't those last two numbers seem extremely high? Generation I released the first 151 Pokémon, 3.3% of which are legendary. Generation II released 100 new Pokémon, 6% of them are legendaries. Generation III, 135 new Pokémon, 7.4% are legendaries. And the most recent, Generation IV, 107 new Pokémon and a gigantic 13.1% are legendaries!

Generation V, what will we see? 115 new Pokémon, and 20, 25 of them being legendaries?! What will happen further down the road, will legendaries take over an entire generation at some point? I, even as a trainer of legendaries, really hope that such a takeover will not happen.

Currently, I am unable to think of more to add, so I shall make my leave for now. Please feel free to comment on the topic at hand, and voice your opinions on the number of legendary Pokémon appearing in each generation. Thank you.
