So, I got Pt! Rotom pamphlet inside was Mow Rotom.

I was planing on using my ultimate GTS strategy: trade a ridiculously over-leveled Pokémon to myself for the strater Pokémon. I started out with Turtwig and tried sending Chimchar over for a Lv. 40 Bidoof, but the trade didn't go through. Oh well. Fortunately, trading the Bidoof to Platinum helped me somewhat. I had given the Bidoof a Skull Fossil so I'll have a Cranidos on my team soon.

I got my first badge and I'm currently in Eterna Forest.
UPDATE 1: 3 Badges and I'm about to battle my rival. Starter evolved to Grotle.
UPDATE 2: Torterra! I'm in Veilstone. I also started training a Ralts, which just evolved to Kirlia, and a Zubat, which also just evolved.
UPDATE 3: I beat Maylene. I'm having a little trouble with Crasher Wake but I'll beat him. Stupid Floatzel...
UPDATE 4: Beat Crasher Wake. I'm in the middle of the mission to get Surf (I think). Cyrus is giving me some trouble.
UPDATE 5: Beat Cyrus. I'm planning on training at Iron Island before getting my next badge.
UPDATE 6: Okay. Turns out I didn't need training after all. I beat Byron without training at Iron Island. Doing the Lake quest now.
UPDATE 7: I'm attempting to catch Giratina. It may take a while, especially with this awesome battle music.
UPDATE 8: Caught Giratina in an Ultra Ball. Took me a few resets but I caught it. I'm in Sunyshore Gym right now.
