The Tin Tower is now the Bell Tower? Well, sure, bells are a whole motif with that tower. (See the anime episode if you don't believe me.) Nintendo went with the wrong way with the translation ten years ago so they took the chance to fix it with the remake.
Gold is now Ethan? Well, sure, the opposite gender main character has always had a different name since they became an NPC for the first time in Ruby and Sapphire.

In the space between the release of the DS and DP, Nintendo made a strong effort to do interesting things with the Pokémon license. In that time we got four different games, all (somewhat) fresh ideas: DashTrozeiMystery DungeonRanger
Genius Sonority also took a second shot at a Gamecube RPG during that time period. But what have we got since then? Battle Revolution. Simply a Stadium game rushed out for the release of the Wii. Genius Sonority
While writing this entry, I miswrote “brother” as “bother”. That is a pretty good summation of him. One of his recent annoying habits is insisting that everything he says is absolute, ignoring all evidence to the contrary. Case in point:
Me: *Playing Lego Star Wars on my Xbox 360*
Brother: Why are you playing that a day early?
Me: Wuh? I’ve had it since Christmas. I can play it when I want.
Brother: No you haven’t. That Wii is a birthday

Woo, thanks for the BJs.
If anyone's wondering why I've not been on Bulbapedia much the past couple of weeks, it's because I've been watching Digimon episodes in my free time instead. I just watched the finale of Adventure 02 which wasn't as bad as I heard, though why anyone would get that far and expect any decent combat in that show eludes me. The highlight for me is the characters and dub dialogue.
In any case, it's good to take a wikibreak
