Iteru's A Level Exams

...start tommorow with Mathematics, the Core 4 module to be exact. So like usual I have only started revision 3 days prior and I am now starting to shit myself. I can do implicit differentiation and all the integration methods but I cannot do vectors. They're just dreadful and confuse me, especially when it is like "Find the normal to OP which is a cord of RS that lies on the curve ZW". I just hope that the big questions at the end don't involve them. Luckily it is only an hour and a half though I would prefer if it was in the afternoon.

Straight after the exam I have to revise for Computing on Monday. It is two and a half hours and I can't remember much of the course material. Half of it is methods while the other half is terms so it isn't as simple as Maths where it is just methods. So I am going to be very busy at the weekend and probably won't be on that much. After Computing is the two Statistics exams though they are easy so I won't have to do a mad rush for them. They are the last ones so then I can go out and have some fun. Cannot wait for the after exam party especially after how good of a drunken night that the leaving prom was. That is really the only reason to do well in these exams. Oh and good grades.

:D! I do A level Computing and Mathematics too. Well I did..my exams finished yeterday :P

Good luck to you! especially in Maths. I did not study for it at all and I'm 100% sure I failed. Computing and the others went pretty good though.

Aww, I wish my exams were over now :P Last one is on the 22nd which feels aaaaaaaages away.

Cheers :D I think I'm going to need the luck more for Computing though. I thought that I failed Core 3 but it turned out I scraped a B so I hope that you get a nice surprise with your Maths grade. Computing though I am really dreading. Stupid AQA have a new course with no past papers to revise from :/

D:. Our Computing course was the first of its kind as well. Its wasn't bad though so I'm sure you'll get through.

What are your other two subjects?

I think the worst part will be revising terms and such. I'm awful at the theory and so never paid much attention to it :P

I'm only doing 3 full A Levels; Maths, Computing, Statistics. For AS I also did History yet got a D so I dropped it. Yours?

Good luck for your exams! ..Wait have you done your maths exam by now?
To give you some perspective though, my maths exam was 4 hours long :p

Yeah had it earlier xD It went okay I think. What annoyed me was how they were 20 minutes late setting up as I just wanted to get it done with.
4 hours? What the hell? Though you do deserve it.

Ah thats good then. I always got really pissed off at the exams not starting on time, especially as handing out all the papers took aages.
Yup, 4 Hours. English was also 4 hours, chemistry, biology, french and philosophy were only 3hours long. :p

My other two are French (best foreign language evar 8D)and Environmental Science. They also make us do some mandatory, boring crap called Caribbean Studies. Blech. I should've done to Math what you did to History. Then it wouldn't have mauled me eh? :p

The worst is when they have to read out all of the instructions, especially when some people are doing different exams so you have to hear their instructions as well.
And I think that two and a half hours are bad. Those exams must have been reallly fun.

Well the only thing that I know about French is that it is better then German. Awful subject that I should never have done at GCSE. :P I was glad that everybody else in my year dropped a subject as well otherwise I would have felt lazy. Maths turned out okay though apart from this stupid 9 mark question.

With us, ahnding out exams took ages as they had to hand out exams separately to each languge section. And yes, those exams were a blast xD

So you did German too? Bleah. I did it for 4 years before giving up and I still can't speak it.

    I never did S2 in my Maths A level (I did C1-4, S1 and M1) but S1 was pretty easy, wasn't it?

The thing with vectors is you've got to remember what the words like 'normal' mean and then it's surprisingly easy. (I think normal is when it's at like a ninety degree angle but that could be totally wrong)

I had the choice to do M1 but decided to play it safe and do S2. S1 was very easy indeed, 94% :P

I think I did okay with the two vector questions. I could do the dot product and stuff so I at least picked up some marks. Normal is the inverse of the tangent right? Now I just need to remember what the tangent looks like...
