Well, here's the third part of my Nuzlocke challenge thus far. I notice that very few people seem to be reading these, much less commenting on them. Am I correct in assuming that a lot of you out there aren't exactly into Nuzlocke challenges?

Anyway, I went back to Petalburg and obtained the Exp. Share, which proved invaluable. Continued on to Slateport, and began training, catching a Minun in the process. Soon, however, tragedy struck once more.

That Aroma Lady on Route 103. Her Roselia. And I should've been paying more attention, for once I looked back at the screen, I was just in time to see my beloved Zigzagoon die from poison damage.

The loss of Zigzagoon also posed a huge problem- I no longer possessed anything with Cut. So, I went back to Dewford and picked up the Old Rod. I knew that I could get a Tentacool with it, and it was really my only hope at the moment. So I fish in Dewford. Magikarp. Mudkip KOs it accidentially, getting a critical hit with Water Gun. I fish on the route east of Dewford; Magikarp. I catch this one. I fish on the route with the Granite Cave; Magikarp. I fish on the route south of Slateport; Magikarp. I fish IN Slateport: Magikarp! Knowing it was hopeless, I continued training, evolved Mudkip, creamed Brawly (my pair of Dustox were invaluable here), and likewise defeated May (Shroomish handled Wailmer, Marshtomp destroyed Numel, and my Dustox duo destroyed Grovyle). Reaching Mauville, I head east and fish once more, finally hooking and capturing a Tentacool. I then head west onto the daycare route and pick up a Roselia, which can learn Cut as well. I really could've done with that sooner. Nevertheless, I dumped Minun and a Magikarp into the daycare, and added Tentacool to my roster. Then I got the Mach Bike and proceeded to wipe out the trainers on Cycling Road. There were no incidents, but one close call- some triathlete's Magnemite had my Mawile trapped and paralyzed. Mawile had been hit by several Metal Sounds, and was nearly done in by a Thundershock. I healed Mawile with a Super Potion, and thankfully Magnemite only used Tackle as Mawile Rock Smashed it to oblivion.

Anyway, I'm now preparing to enter the Trick House, now that my Tentacool has Cut.
