Wow, SOVA is back

To the members of BMGf...

And it seems SOVA has expanded, a quote:

They deserve to once again bring life to the dub. Due to Pokemon's numerous changes however, we'd also like to expand our scope. In addition to supporting the original voices of Ash, Jessie, James, etc. some of you may wish to advocate further restoration of the classic Pokemon anime. Such goals may include;

a: Returning Misty and Brock to the anime, along with their original VA's (Eric Stuart and Rachel Lillis)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA! It was unrealistic enough for SOVA to get the 4kids VA's back, but now they think SOVA can someone bring back Misty and Brock, something the Japanese writers have no intention of ever doing?

And get this everyone, Misty has now been gone from pokemon for a decade. 10 entire years. And there are actually some people out there who think they can petition to get Misty back to an english dub company!

Holy fucking shit. This BS is still going about 4kids VA's and Misty? LOL!

Apparently some people are stupid enough to think that,

A. The anime will go back to its original roots and have the original trio of Ash, Brock and Misty.
B. 4Kids will come back after we've got used to TPCi doing the dub for six years.
C. 4Kids would actually be allowed to sign a new contract with the anime.

First of all, I can't see my comment anymore.

And I'm already writing up a draft, constructing picket signs and getting contact information of all the big wigs in TCPI, since, you know, they have such a huge say in what goes on in the actual canon.

You mean they don't? Oh crap, what have I been doing with my life in the past six years? I'm gonna give my anime ideas to TPCi, and they are [I]so[/I] gonna use them and persuade the Japanese creators to scrap all their ideas for the next three years.

I think that the plan of SOPA bringing the voice actors back has always been a terrible idea, and I think that the forums closing down because of SOVA is total bs. Or was it the other way round?

SOVA was actually somewhat respectable back in 2006/2007 when the VA's switched, but now 6 years later they're a joke.

They also drove the final nail in their coffin when they said they are also petitioning for Misty/Brock to return, because it pretty much proves they're only obsessed with nostalgia and the original trio, not the anime itself.

If you're just obsessed with nostalgia as far as Pokemon is concerned, then you might as well just watch an episode from the original series, or *ahem* take your ideas to the actual writers of the anime, who probably wouldn't give a crap.
