An old Team Rocket site I miss

Way back in 2004 back when I was still a huge Team Rocket fan (obsessed with Cassidy and Butch) and when I was still in middle school, I used to go to many Team Rocket sites like TRHQ (my second favorite), Frogs vs Roses (my favorite) and a site with awesome music videos of TR and Pokemon called Teamrocket-video.com. And this was before the whole youtube era began so seeing AMVs was a lot more special to me.

Unfortunately, back in the day I knew too little about computers to save the videos. Heck, back then I didn't know how to save pictures and instead copied and pasted hundreds to bmp files on mspaint (and boy was that a pain in the butt when I found out my pc was running low on space). So unfortunately I never saved those great videos

And now the site is gone, and the links now lead to those stupid search sites which just seem to mock me and I dont like it when dumb search engines mock me. I never even got to save the videos. Instead I am stuck with mere memories. And conviently, during the internet web archive capture, the site's robot blocked the capture each time so the site was never archived T_T.

http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/WWW.teamrocket-video.COM was it's old url

Any memories of this site? Know what happened and can I find those music videos around?

Yeah, Teamrocket-Video was AWESOME. It's a shame it went down so recently...

I think some of them are still on YT.

I can solve your problem! I downloaded all of those videos before the site went down. Now I just need to send them to any interested person. There are various options:
    1. Sending files by MSN, which is slow
    2. Sending files by e-mail, which is tricky if they're large
    3. Uploading the files to Megaupload, Rapidshare etc., then posting the links. I don't know if free users can create Megaupload folders, but if they can that's yet another reason to prefer it. (If memory serves me correctly, with Megaupload the files will remain there for ever.)
I signed up to Bulbagarden forums purely to fix this problem. Having downloaded hundreds of AMVs from various sources, I feel like giving something back. Since I'm no good at making videos, distributing unavailable ones is all I can do. I'll bookmark this page, then check back for requests of specific videos later.

Apparently anonymous uploads last for only 21 days, other free ones for 90. Shame. Fortunately, both of those periods are restarted every time the file is downloaded.

    Jos, I request:
    the Whip it video
and the Once in a Lifetime video

    use megaupload to host them
and if it's not against any rules, not only post the links to the megaupload videos here but upload more of your collection onto youtube. I'd subscribe.

I have the Whip It video *and* the Once in a Lifetime video, but they're in .rm format and I don't know if you can do that.

My comment was "moderated", but the only consequence I can see is that I cannot edit it. Ooh, I'm SO wounded. :p
