So I got a GBA emulator on my computer, and aside from a few very tiny issues it's having with my OS (Vista -_-) I couldn't be happier with it. I got ROMs of Pokemon Emerald and an English fanslation of Fire Emblem: The Sealed Sword (>:D), and I've been playing constantly since.

Now what would make this even better is if I had the hardware and software to save the ROM to a blank GBA cartridge, which I guess is essentially homebrew. Anyone know how this stuff works or what I need for it?

A friend of mine bought his off Play Asia.

I'd try Amazon, Play Asia, Yes Japan, Jlist, etc. Sites that import. Or the old standby eBay.

I'm really sure that you can get a flash GBA cartridge and put ROMs on it, as I know some people who put the patched M3 ROM onto one...

Also, how does VBA run on Vista? I'm thinking of downloading it onto GLaDOS so you can stop bugging me about FE >8O.

The "very tiny issue" is that when you load a game into VBA, if your active color scheme is anything other than the default (I changed mine to blue), Vista temporarily changes the theme back to Basic, but only until VBA closes. It doesn't affect gameplay or anything else at all, I just don't like the gray taskbar.

VBA runs great on Vista, IMO.
