So I've been watching the US Open this weeked, amazed by the performance Rory McIlroy. At the time of this writing, he's wrapped up the tournament with an impressive victory. Well, I had my driving test today to get my license. I can tell you that I was more than prepared, going as far as practicing parallel parking with some stanchions that my dad made. I'm sure that anyone that has gone through the American public school system in this decade has heard of No Child Left Behind. The law, passed in 2001, basically requires all states to administer standardized tests. In theory, it's supposed to put a focus on helping kids in failing schools to improve. Good idea, right?
