For those that don't know, today I resigned as head of Anime and the Media Menagerie. I didn't want to steal Iteru's thunder in the announcement in Anime, so I'm writing this blog instead to go more in-depth on my resignations.

As I said in the announcement, this was a very hard decision to make. When you've been helping run a section for over a year, especially a crazy section, it gets under your skin. You work hard trying to fix things up and make it a better place for all to discuss the show. But one day you look around at all the changes you've made, all the mods you've hired to help you, and realize that your work is done. Sure, there's much more that can be approved upon in Anime. But my goal since becoming a mod of cleaning things up, and hiring more people so those who do run it don't go completely insane, is more or less done.

Then there's the problem of trying to do too much...

Most of you don't know this, but aside from being the head of two sections, I've been helping out more behind the scenes. I thought I could handle it all at first, but after awhile it just became too much. Coupled with the above, I realized it was time for me to move on to other things.

So what are these other things? The short version is "admin stuff". I'm moving into more of an administrative position to help out Bulbagarden overall. A lot of stuff is things you guys wont even notice. But I do have some plans that if implemented, will be noticeable and hopefully improve the forum.

So that's pretty much it. I had so much on my plate that I wasn't really being effective anywhere anymore. Now that I have more or less a single focus again, I hope I can be more helpful to the site in general.
