My father's friend and a close friend of my family was working in his garden this morning. He's 67 years old.

Two black guys drove up into his yard and got out of the car. They asked him for money. He said no. They got back in their car, drove down the street, turned around, and came back into his yard.

This summer would have just been so depressing otherwise. I mean, I'm living alone and pretty much broke, but no matter how bad it gets, Toby somehow makes me smile. When I take him out he forces me to come out of my shell because people who would not normally talk to me, come up and ask about Toby and we have conversations. I'm getting in really good shape for the first time since high school because he insists we go for that walk every day. ...

Just a word of warning: the first few months after you graduate college SUCK. Your parents cut you off and you have to start making your own way and you send of resumes to potential employers and just wait and wait and wait and wait...and usually hear no response or bad response in return. It is hard as hell to get on your feet in the real world.

I am so tired of being poor. I can't remember the last time I had a decent, nutritious meal that I did not have to freeload off of someone. ...

You know what? I'm picking the water otter thing as my starter because I feel sorry for it. Everyone is making fun of it and saying its ugly and no one wants it. I bet it looks dumb, and they know that so they'll make it the best of the three.

Unrelated to pokemon, I just graduated college. Yay me. I'm getting a dachshund puppy sometime soon as a graduation gift. :) :) :) I tried to take my corgi up to live with me in the mountains, and it's just impossible. She was unhappy. I know ...
