I want a kitten now

Hi all, you might not know but I actually moved out of home two months ago with my cousin, living in another place now. But I miss my dogs, and bird that I had at the house (I can still see them, but still).

We didn't think we were allowed to have pets at the townhouse we are in, however since being here I have seen two birds in birdcages in two different units, and two different cats (Although the white one might have been a stray). And today we just had a kitten in our yard, so we went to find who owned it, which was next door's (They got it back). But I want a kitten, sadly my cousin's allergic to both dogs and cats, unless we get one of those hypoallergenic or whatever they are called cats (Cats for those with allergies), but they are expensive so we may not be getting a pet. Aww.

    I say if you can own one and your cousin's allergies arent too bad go on and get one. Id suggest adoption rather than buying because you'd be saving the pet's life.

    Oh yeah, I still need to make sure I can financially own one before getting it, but if I can get one, I will. Chances are, either the neighbors are breaking the rule (Which in that case, I am not gonna be the asshole who tells the real estate,) or we can have one. They didn't actually say we couldn't, we just said we had no pets so maybe that was it.

    Adoption would be a good idea, I rather a young cat though, only because I get attached to them and I just feel like if I get an old one, I might not get to have a long time with it. (Although I am a more of a dog person as well, but the yard's not big enough for them). We also live on a busy street so that's a concern if the cat wanders around. I think if I do get a cat, I won't not choose an old one just because of that though.
