Censored Pokemon names?

So, I had a shiny battle over wi-fi (a few actually) with =Dragonite= using shinies we caught back during the chaining days (damn you, RNG reporter, for making life easier but less interesting). I saved the video with the intention of actually recording it, and uploaded it to wi-fi just for the hell of it. I was watching it on wi-fi when I noticed all of a sudden, my Jolteon's name changed back to the default JOLTEON. I thought that was weird, and then I had to laugh... his actual name is Blitzkrieg. Really? That's on some kind of Nintendo banned list of Pokemon names? Lol k. I guess radios shouldn't be able to play The Ramones either?

Now all I want to do is purposely give my Pokemon potentially offensive names, just to see what gets changed. Good job, Nintendo.

So, has this ever happened to anybody else? I'm really curious now.

I've heard that in some cases Pokemon's names will be censored on WiFi because of whatever reason, especially if they're in foreign language and uploaded on WiFi. Don't ask me why or how but that's what I've heard.

Like some kid that had Dugtrio named Penis/Cock in Japanese but when he uploaded it to WiFi it was just DUGTRIO.

That can't possibly be the case given how many little idiots like to name their GTS pokemon "faggot". Unless Nintendo hasn't gotten the memo that it isn't 1970 any more...

Had a gengar named RapeFace and got censored but my Infernape named Inferape didn't. I question nintendo's censoring ability

Wow, sorry for not replying to any of you guys... I know I had my settings so that I would be emailed if I received blog responses. Hmm.

Lol, that's hilarious that even foreign bad words get censored. Seriously, now all Nintendo's done is encouraged me to see what will and won't get censored.

And yes, I guess some things it just doesn't pick up on? My Starmie named BLOWMIE gets through the censors, because there are no actual bad words in it, haha. Oh and yeah, I once battled someone over wi-fi who had a Rapeoreon... though I don't know, maybe it's okay when you're battling, but not when you upload a video?
