Comics Gone Wrong

As with everything in life, there is good and there is bad. And...sometimes there is REALLY bad. These...are comics gone wrong. Sometimes it's a bad editorial decision. Sometimes it's bad writing. Sometimes it's bad art. And, sometimes, it's someone who decides to use the comic book as the medium to get across their message. Today...let's delve into that last one.
Locally, as with many places in America at this time, there are many political campaigns underway. Usually, candidates use the airwaves (either through television or radio) or pamphlets and fliers to get their messages across. One man, in particular, has decided to take to the comic book medium. Brent Rinhart, local indicted County Commissioner, has decided that the best way to get his point across is by showing it in crudely-drawn picture form. In this 16 page comic an angel (with a wand?) and a random man introduce the reader to the many virtues of Rinehart while a "devil" (who bears an odd resemblance to a tail-less chupacabra) cheers on the opposition. Amidst stereotypical gays, gay bashing (and multiple references to the "homosexual agenda", which Rinehart has "successfully fought against"), and "normal people", you get educated as to his views and "accomplishments" (Rinehart is responsible for five, count them FIVE, bridges getting repaired. Never mind the news last night of another bridge losing a two foot chunk...). Combine this with the constant misspellings ("pedifile"? "to many questions"?) and this work is, truly, an example of a comic gone wrong.
The comic itself, in PDF form, for any who are interested.
