Youtube's recommendations are weird.

Especially when it starts popping stuff completely unrelated to your watched videos and may even despise. Or just watch a video once, and suddenly you get a whole bunch of them related. e.g. those are the moments when you go and clear out the Youtube cookies, because fuck that shit.

    If I watch a video I don't like, I often delete it from my history so YouTube doesn't think I like that kind of video.

    Generally no matter what I'm watching, I usually get Doctor Who or Mortal Kombat recommendations.

    @SnorlaxMonster; - There's a special part of your Youtube cookies that stores your most recently watched videos. Deleting something from your history won't have an effect if it's in there. By the same token, just by deleting that cookie, you can have a million Youtube vids in your browser's history, and you'll still get a fresh list of recommendations

    Not my browser history, my YouTube history; the history that YouTube itself stores. Deleting those does work.
