To gain new abilities, you need to fight battles. The chance is 5%. It can be raised depending on how strong the enemies are, but every 70 HP you have offsets this chance. And you can gain HP like nobody's business in this version of the game.

You *can* prevent growth, but it means preventing any growth, so you'll have deadweight for god-knows-how-long. But hey, still better than the original setup, marginally so. And the game still rules.

Canucks won 7-3. So many power plays for the Canucks, and fucking Bettman was there. Eager took so many penalties it was hilarious. He scored the last goal for the Canucks, elbowed Luongo (no call), then taunted and got yet another penalty. Then he got another with like 12 seconds left in a huge brawl that gave the Canucks a 2 man advantage after another one. Niemi seemed really off his game.

Ducks came by just now. I saw three kids (luckily good natured ones) looking at them just between the 2nd and 3rd of Canucks vs. Sharks. So I used that time to feed them.
