The Live Wire

The Live Wire is a fast-paced, action-filled blog filled with the collection of a now fairly known user's thoughts on events as they happen. The updates were intended to be short and sweet, though that was never really adhered to on a consistent basis. The content covered ranges wildly, from the latest and greatest to the criminally unknown, from opinions some may find disagreeable to irresistibility of varying qualifications. You may be entertained. You may be offended. You may be enlightened. You may even be disgusted. Is it a simple idea spiraled out of control? Perhaps. But it's all part of the ride. Prepare yourself.

  1. Pokemon Black Progress Part II: Breaking Shit

Part I | Part II | Part III | Part IV | Part V | Part VI | Part VII
    Alternate title: Chessmaster

So after getting Pawniard up and running, I go and...find out that a Level 1 Pawniard cannot take on a Level 11 Audino. So go and heal, come back, and try again. An hour of decimating the local Audino population later, and levels are 18 for the now fat and ugly Pignite, and 17 for the still swaggerific Pawniard. No Defiant on Pawniard makes me sad, though.

    The collection ...

  2. My paternal grandmother has been visiting for the past few days

by , 17th June 2012 at 09:58 AM (The Live Wire)
Of course, I have a NegaSleepingSchedule(tm), so I'm not interacting much. Actually, an aunt and uncle came over last night as well. If my cousin (their granddaughter) had come with them, I probably wouldn't have gone to sleep last night. Though tonight is a WWE PPV, so I dunno. Things are screwy around these parts.

  3. Fascinating how a blog not everyone can see can become featured.

by , 17th June 2012 at 06:30 AM (The Live Wire)
I'd blame vBulletin as always, but I prefer to blame the guy who made the blog instead. Because not only do I blame vBulletin too much, but also because I wonder what the hell I had to do to get on that guy's ignore list. Or why he won't let me view his blog as a result and yet didn't consider logging out lets me view it just fine and I still see it on Latest Blog Entry (FUN FACT: It wasn't like that on VB3, but you could tell anyway because you wouldn't see Latest Blog Entry). Maybe I did 9/11 ...

  4. Slept 8 hours just about, but it doesn't feel like 8 hours

by , 17th June 2012 at 02:41 AM (The Live Wire)
    It's like, wat?

At least I think I woke up at the right time, as Cosmo is nearing the end of an excellent WW run. Hopefully, nothing explodes in his face. EDIT: Fuck, it exploded in his face. EDIT2: he had 2800+ viewers. To compare, TheSpeedGamers have 1200+. EDIT3:

Times on the left are how far ahead he was of his previous record. The collapse happened when he had to abort that one mini-dungeon ...

  5. This is why Zelda games have the best glitches

by , 16th June 2012 at 06:15 PM (The Live Wire)

I mean all around in general. Behold; Cosmo playing Wind Waker, getting out of bounds during the Puppet Ganon fight, then using a glitch called the zombie hover that lets him fly into the air while dead. He almost reached the loading zone for the Ganondorf fight, but he started going over the invisible wall and into the great beyond. Eventually, he got tired of doing it, pulled out a bomb, exploded himself, fell into ...
