Just because each new update seems to bring in features I don't really welcome, and it seems to mess up a bit here and there. Then again, the other options aren't much better. Though I have been hearing Firefox has gotten MUCH better in recent years. No memory leaks or the like to be had. Anyone with recent experience?

Firefox works fine for me pretty much. Plugins can crash sometimes, but it hasn't happened often lately.

At least you have a choice. I have a Chromebook, so my only browser is Chrome. :L

    Chrome is good.
    Firefox is good.
If you choose either you'll do fine.

There's also the issue with Chrome being notorious for storing your browsing history on the cloud, which is a very bad idea because it can be tampered with, either by Google or anyone who manages to hack them.
