Remember when I beasted that one contest and ended up with a Japanese Black2? It also came with a coupon for Play-Asia. As its expiration date was coming up and I had recently been inspired, I decided to dive right into the world of prepaid credit cards and stuff. Also to flip off the places with limited selections at later dates. First off, after getting the 411, I checked out the local 7-11 for a Vanilla Visa around $100. Except they didn't have those at said value, so I had to use a Vanilla Mastercard instead.
Which bothered me for one texthitch: while both said they worked online, the former said it's valid in millions of locations everywhere where Visa is accepted, whereas the latter said it was valid in millions of locations where Mastercard is accepted. All that legalese talk (which apparently is a word according to spellcheck?!) put me in the habit or something. It turned out not to be an issue, and after getting through the initial stumbling process, it was like BOOM. Anyway, tracking it, it went from some place in Hong Kong to some place in Hong Kong with a sexual name: CHEK LAP KOK, to Memphis, to Vancouver BC, hitting the road on Richmond and arriving here in my soon-to-be-former-city-of-residence Abbotsford at 11AM Pacific.
Total cost: $60-ish for the game minus $5.00 or so. Plus howevermuch else for $79.80. Plus $20 fee once I received it, although again, FedEx place is literally just up the road. So nearly a hundred bucks. Was it worth it?
It should be. Fuck yeah, Final Fantasy Legend III remake.
