It appears you can publish blog entries into the past.

I didn't even know that was possible, but I did it by accident right now. What the fuck, vB. Also, you can't do a full delete or unpublish and republish in the future, even if it was deleted. Equally fucked up.

BUT, you can publish something to whichever date you want it, as long as it is not the future. You can have republish it to the current date and time, or can push it all the way back to January 1st, 1970, 12:00AM if you please. But even one minute into the future, and fuck you, "Published entries can not be set to a future date."

    What does Bulbagarden aim to achieve by doing that? I can set the date on my iPod back to 1970. All I want to know is, what's the point? I can see how you'd need to set it back a few days for the International Date Line or something, but 1970 is pointless. Pointless.
