Day 1: No, mum, this email is trying to trick you. You won't actually win 1000 dollars. You didn't enter any competition in the first place so you don't have anything to win. You should forget about it.
Day 2: Yes, I'm telling you that if you really did win something, they would call or at least write a letter. The sender isn't even from a company, he's using a G-mail account! Now can you please stop nagging me bout it.
Day 3: You sent him your details!? No, that's not how it works. They could use that information for all sorts of reasons. It's a scam. Well, at least you didn't send your bank details...
Day 4: I said you should forget about it! You didn't enter any competition! No, the lottery doesn't count! I'm telling you, people do this to steal people's money! Its a scam! People in countries where police can't find them do this to try and trick innocent people out of their money!
Day 5: ....................*head desk* (It was actually a cushion)
I love my mum like a, well, like a mum. But, to be blunt, she can be a bit thick with some things.
So thank you, phishers of the world, for giving me such a stressful week. =_= Oh, and somehow my spam email account somehow managed to get leaked (NCsoft I'm guessing) and I'm getting all these emails about how my Wow account is going to be deleted and/or is under suspicion and will be closed unless I "click this link to reactivate it!"
