Got a Chikorita(now a bayleef) off of the forums along with a Skitty which I am now training a bit.

The Chikorita is Japanese and is nicknamed チコリソ2 which I found, after consulting the katakana list on wikipedia means Chikoriso2. I do not know what that is.

Other than that I beat the 8th gym and did the quiz (after checking online just to double check my answers so that I could get the dratini)

Now to catch Lugia! (Hopefully)

My strategy is to use my PCP Pichu (how redundant!) to use endeavour at 1 HP on the Lugia whilst holding a Quick Claw.

Actually, that's "Chikorin." Sometimes, as a diminutive, the last part of the name is changed to "rin" (like when Kotone called Hikari "Hikarin").

Actually, no it's a ソ. So it IS Chikoriso2. Unless it's written wrong up there, as 'n' looks like this: ン.
(don't remind me how horribly similar they look xD)

Ah, so it is. ._.; But I wonder: is that how it looked in-game? Was it, in fact, a so? Considering how similar they look....

If it is, then I do wonder what "Chikoriso" is. O_o

Oh, I actually think it is Chikorin2! The two look so similar >.<

Still don't know what that is though.

Like I said above, the "rin" ending is used as a diminutive (used to express intimacy, endearment, smallness, or even insignificance). Chikorin's just sort of a cutesy way of saying Chikorita.
