As the Monotype Teams category says, just a general thing that I used to do all the time when I was bored. ..Except now that I actually, yknow, know stuff about battling I might actually do something with this. Probably not though.

Holy cow you stole my Yanmega set >_< Except mine has HP instead of Defense... Good Bug team though.

Yeah really, I actually knew the guy who was probably one of the first to actually think up the Protect + Hypnosis + Speed Boost set. I'm not going to say that he is the one who created it since many other people may have individualy come to that realisation themselves.

All those Yanmegas had their slight variations, the guy I'm talking about had HP [Ice] in place of one of his STAB moves because he made it for Shoddy. Others opted for HP [fight/ground] because they realised how everyone switches Heatran into it. Some go with HP [fire] for things like Skarmory.

Now that set (or the basic core of it: Hypnosis + Protect + Speed Boost) is commonplace in the competitive scene.

Also, Ling Ling, people at SMogon name their sets a lot. Its easier for one to verify who the creator was there, though some sets like Luna Jynx are just variations of sets from other Pokemon so I wonder why that gets named, perhaps the unique EV spread that makes it work....

There was also an Admin at Smogon who popularized an entire team, and a more special defense oriented Blissey (though not really his own creation). Forgot his SMogon name, but I think the Shoddy one was Graviton.

Are these bugs you could use in a team to beat the E4 do you think? I want to use types I typically don't.
