The people bitching about how terrible RSE was.

... Then again, what can I say. It always bothers the shit out of me when people keep critcizing it, since it's the first Pokemon game I actually played through and loved.

For some reason I'm never bothered by large changes in games, while the rest of the fandom is all OMG I HAET IT !! each time there's a tiny changes. I usually end up liking the changes more than the old stuff (coughapollojusticecomestomind). Maybe I'm just on crack or something. D:

Well, personally RSE are my least favourite games, but I 'm not gonna bitch about that because it has nothing to do with my future enjoyment of HGSS.

That said, this fandom bitches about everything, so... :/ You can't please everyone.

RSE had good ideas, and the battle changes introduced were improvements - it's the story, I think, where they fell short of their potential. I would welcome a remake if the story were improved, say, by having more battles with Brendan/May and Wally, and more usage of Magma and Aqua.
