It's like OLM never saw Red's HGSS/B2W2 sprite animations until now, and decided "Hey, this is pretty cool, let's have our animated version of the Gen I guy do this daily!"
Satoshi looks cool here. I appreciate that the first two episodes look like they're going to be more eventful than usual, but judging the first two episodes based on the teaser alone is ignorant. My hope for Satoshi is that he's a more mature version of his lovable character in the original series. Takeshi Shudo's Satoshi was the best Satoshi (see: Japanese version of Lord of the Unknown Tower's Entei battle and his dialogue).

It's clear that animosity between these two factions within the fanbase won't get any better. In fact, I think I quit trying to make things better. Instead, I'll just make things worse.
Hey you, Red and Satoshi fans, these guys want a piece of the action too! NEW CHALLENGERS HAVE ARRIVED! Isamu Akai, Pippi, and Pikachu (that's cheating!). NEW CHALLENGERS HAVE ARRIVED

Aesthetically, I hope Rica Matsumoto and Yuko Kobayashi reprise their roles as the anime versions of Red and Green for this universe. Design-wise, Red's sleeves look pretty weird, but I'll get used to it. The style doesn't look too bad, but I would have preferred something along the lines of the B2W2 trailer.
A part of me wanted a meld, since that's exactly what I'm doing for Older!Satoshi

And it's not even official. TONBO from Pixiv created the most badass Pokemon doujin I've ever seen.
It's called 王者の祭典, "Festival of Kings".
Man, I was gonna do this exact shot with Satoshi, Shigeru, and Sayako and the starter evolutions!
