It's like OLM never saw Red's HGSS/B2W2 sprite animations until now, and decided "Hey, this is pretty cool, let's have our animated version of the Gen I guy do this daily!"

Junko Takeuchi does a great Red. As much as I would have liked Rica Matsumoto, she's a superb alternative.
I'm getting used to how Red looks in The Origin, but I'm still more used to his Gen I look and his stern Gen III look. Not an awkward mix of both designs...
Takuya Eguchi... it's good acting, but it sounds way too old for Green. That aside, I like that Green's

It's clear that animosity between these two factions within the fanbase won't get any better. In fact, I think I quit trying to make things better. Instead, I'll just make things worse.

Aesthetically, I hope Rica Matsumoto and Yuko Kobayashi reprise their roles as the anime versions of Red and Green for this universe. Design-wise, Red's sleeves look pretty weird, but I'll get used to it. The style doesn't look too bad, but I would have preferred something along the lines of the B2W2 trailer.
A part of me wanted a meld, since that's exactly what I'm doing for Older!Satoshi
