Whoever has ever had a hand in localizing the English attack names...

They all need a firm talking to.
Mud-Slap and Sand-Attack vs U-turn and V-create (dealing with hyphens; Gen 1 and 2 uppercase vs Gen 4 and 5 lowercase)
Mud-Slap and Sand-Attack vs Mud Shot and Quick Attack (dealing with hyphens; inconsistency in Gen 1, and Gen 2 hyphen vs Gen III no-hyphen)
Tri Attack is confused; so is Crabhammer.
SolarBeam, ViceGrip, and BubbleBeam vs Ice Beam and Aurora Beam (vs Psybeam) (dealing with spacing issues; inconsistency through Gen 1)
SmokeScreen and SonicBoom vs Light Screen (dealing with spacing issues; inconsistency through Gen 1)
X-Scissor vs U-turn (dealing with capitals after hyphens; inconsistency through Gen 4)
We're not touching Will-O-Wisp. Lock-On is a noun (lock on is a verb). Wake-Up Slap is correct. Double-Edge is who-knows-what (but probably correct when you think about it very hard). Superpower and Supersonic are correct.
It's one thing that a smooshed name runs into a character limit (AncientPower, ThunderShock, DynamicPunch), but the bottom half have no excuse. What was going through your heads.
EDIT:
FOR EVERYONE WHO IS CONFUSED (fuck you guys; I tried so hard not to swear in the original post and now it's unavoidable):
These are all English name attacks (Mud-Slap and Mud Shot are TWO DIFFERENT moves). In these regards, there are two things wrong: grammatical inconsistency throughout the years and WHY IS THERE NO FUCKING SPACE IN THE NAME?? I have now edited the original post to reflect each problem by the examples, but in case you still don't understand, here is me blowing up.
Why is Mud-Slap and Sand-Attack hyphened when all other Mud moves (Mud Shot, Mud Bomb, EVEN MUDDY WATER) and moves ending in Attack are NOT HYPHENED?
And if they are hyphened, why did every Gen up until Gen 5 capitalize the word after the hyphen? U-turn and V-create are CORRECT in not capitalizing their turn and create, but that breaks the so-called bullshit grammar the localizers used up until then.
Why do SolarBeam, BubbleBeam, SmokeScreen, SonicBoom, and ViceGrip, WHICH ARE NOT COMPOUND WORDS AS INDICATED BY THE CAPITAL LETTER, not have a space between them? They are 11 letters long or less. WHY IS THERE NO SPACE? WHO DECIDED THAT BULLSHIT?!
Light Screen has the same amount of letter-characters as SmokeScreen, and it has a space; it can even be spelled Smokescreen as a proper compound word, YET IT IS NOT. SmokeScreen is therefore in this really awkward transitional period of where it should be either BUT IS NEITHER.
Aurora Beam is longer than SolarBeam in character-letters, SO WHY DOES IT HAVE A SPACE and SolarBeam doesn't?
TRI FUCKING ATTACK SHOULD ACTUALLY BE HYPHENED! AND IT. IS. NOT. TRI IS EITHER HYPHENATED OR COMPOUNDED; IT'S NOT LEFT OUT THERE IN THE OPEN BY ITSELF, EVER, WHEN RELATED TO A DEFINING WORD.
(Sand-Attack vs Quick Attack, Horn Attack, Wing Attack, TRI ATTACK, Sky Attack, ETC, all probably has to do with Sand-Attack being a status move....but that's severe bullshit, except there's no other Attack move that is a status move to compare it to. ....Just bullshit. Break grammar by making their own rules; it's probably why Tri Attack isn't hyphenated.)
Crabhammer is only confused because that could have been Crab Hammer, no trouble, but they made it a compound word...but it's not a real word like that.
