Pretty big words posted here on the Bulbapedia forum.

lol. Well I am more of the pedia person.

So why don't we settle for Bulbapedia = Bulbagarden ?

Huh. You know, I always just assumed Bulbapedia and Bulbagarden came along at the same time. Like Archaic and co. came up with the idea to make a Pokémon Wiki and decided it should come with its own forum.

I know the difference between the 'Garden and the 'Pedia though. But hey, slap away if ya want, Luna. >:O

I always just chuckle to myself when people call BMGf the Bulbapedia forums, or refer to the entire site as Bulbapedia.

That makes me cringe a lot, too. D:

Just because you like the 'pedia more doesn't mean that we all do.. (although this could so be turned against me easily)

...and I totally just wrote a huge paragraph about how I like BMGf and realized that it all boils down to my power. HURRAY, I'M POWER CRAZY! \o/

Ahahahaha no. :D The forums are first priority in any given situation; if it meant sacrificing one or the other, the Pedia would be dropped long before the forums are. There is no equality.

Don't get my wrong; I'm not a Pedia hater. I'm on there updating away as well, and it's fun (when dull vandals aren't mucking it up). But this? Trufax.

Google pokemon. Bulbapedia is on page one. Bulbagarden isn't.

Might be because the front page for Bulbagarden is simply a gateway, and Bulbapedia's a very large information source. Doesn't mean that it's the only and main part of Bulbagarden though.

I know. but theres a reason people think it came first, because its very "official", and appears first whenever you google a pokemons name

Bulbagarden as a whole came first. Bulbapedia came years after the original Bulbagarden was created by Chris/Anenga.

And yeah, it pisses me off how people talk about BMGf as if it were the pedia's forums.
