Hey everyone!

We've had this idea floating around for a while now. Even had a trial system set up for it before, using Wordpress, but the idea had to be shelved as we continued to stress our previous server. With this lovely, fast, new server however, there's nothing stopping us! ^^

Every user registered on BMGf now has their own free BJ (I've always wanted to use that advertising tagline. ;) ). You can use it for pretty much anything. We'll be making some more hard and fast rules later, but for now we just ask that you keep it family friendly.

Bulbapedia users, we highly suggest that you try and switch from using User: and UserTalk: pages there, and move that kind of content here. The forums database is a lot more suited to it in terms of both CPU and actual database size. This new server is wonderful, but there's no reason for us to be going out of our way to make a problem for it. ^^;;

If you want to know a bit more about the kinds of things you can do here, you might want to read the homepage. Feel free to play around with this, and let us know what you think.

Are there any restrictions on saying anything subversive, like, making fun of your feud with Serebii's Joe, or claiming Bulbagarden has a bias of some sort? After all, we supposedly live in the free world, yet we all know that we are discouraged from saying many things.

Lets hope this does attract the people using the 'pedia as a journal. I think this will be a most welcome feature.

Probably not. I'll be updating with interesting things occasionally, and if you're lucky I may post essays totally unrelated to BMG (things related to my work at the university), but these days I just don't have the time to write long ranty things all the time. Especially after my hand injury.

Destiny Queen is right. This blog is a relic for this kind of forum. I am glad that he made this bloc for us people. Plus, Pamdatic is right for. his/her (don't know if male or female, and too lazy to look) part. But it makes me happy to read his words and to feel the happiness of the first people on this forum and beyond them.
