Exactly. I have identified it as a minor annoyance that may actually be perfectly acceptable to other people. Aren't people allowed to have minor annoyances? And if they happen to form an opinion, as people are wont to do, should they hide it away and speak not a word because they shouldn't even have paid attention in the first place?

'Criticizing their lives' is a bit of a stretch. Let's go back to the definition of a 'pet peeve': a minor annoyance. Why should I judge a person's life based merely on a minor annoyance?

I am only disagreeing with one thing they do, not the person as a whole. If someone were to comment that they did believe that Zodiac signs have a legitimate impact on their lives, my respect for them would remain intact, though I still do disagree. Disagreeing is not equal to disrespecting.

Well, believe it or not, even a calculating guy like me that likes maths and hates philosophy thinks that zodiacs are sometimes true. I mean, I am a Taurus, and I can see personality traits of a Taurus in me. This also applies to my Pisces father and Leo mother to some extent.

Yet, I think that the only reason this happens is because of plain statistics and the fact that all star signs tend to show off at least one of EVERY person's inate traits. What I actually mean is that they are almost always true, because they are made in such a way that EVERY person can be afiiliated with every star sign in some way!

Consequently, I will never base my life on them or their predictions, just admitting that their nature makes them accurate.

Yeah, cramming usually does that to you. I'm in the process of compressing a semester's worth of information (~200 pages in my organic chemistry textbook) in my brain in about two weeks while completing all of my other homework. High school is the butts.

I know that feel, I also told myself not to go back to online forums because they seriously interfere more with my study habits than even Youtube and Tumblr combined, not exaggerating, and yet I still find myself here, but at least now I have the self control to leave at 10:30 PM instead of like staying up past midnight. but wow you got a lot more work than I have, probably because I'm still in first year high school and they go easy on the freshmen, our final exams are next week too and I still haven't studied for literature, crap

Oh. I know the feeling. You just lose the focus to do anything for no good reason. I don't know why it happens to me, but I've only noticed it recently, so I'm thinking it might have something to do with the depression I've developed recently. I really can't give you much advice, but I'm just saying that I do the same thing, which can either be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what you think of me.
