This is the team I used to beat Iris, uploaded immediately after I beat her.

I'm giving the Serperior Outrage and adding Earthquake and some Rock moves to some of the other members.

@Ghetsis-Dennis You get Earthquake on Route 15 (or whatever Route has the Poke Transfer Lab; I think it's 15, if memory serves), so you can't get it until after you beat the Elite Four.

This is a well-balanced team, and I guess you didn't have enough shards to give Serperior Aqua Tail. Shadow Ball and Snarl seem to be placeholders for Night Daze and Focus Blast. Is the Earthquake TM really that late to get judging by Dig on Lucario's moveset?

Actually, the Adamant. Lustrous, and Griseous Orbs are found within the Dragonspiral Tower, which is a little past Icirrus City.

And the developers can put these and other "exclusive" items in any part of the game that they choose. They moved around the locations of some of the TMs in the game, and they had done so for these orbs as well.

The developers chose to close off Icirrus City and have you go to the eastern cities in Unova instead because they wanted Marlon to be the eighth GL of B2W2.

Icirrus City (as the location of the seventh gym in the original BW) was between Mistralton and Opelucid Cities. That's also the reason why the developers reworked the entire Victory Road and Chasm Mountain, so that you had to actually pass through the cities in Eastern Unova in order to get there.

Juniper's not a troll; if you went to Route 7 and tried to enter Twist Mountain before the postgame, Marshall explains that the entrance suffered a cave-in from a landslide. It's safe to assume this was also a measure to prevent you from going to Icirrus City (Edit: especially because of certain items. Notably, the Creator trio's orbs are found there)
Challenger's Cave hasn't an explanation that I know of, all we know is that it was sealed in. Perhaps the game reason was to save space for the new areas...

More Plasma Sages will appear in the story other than Rood and Zinzolin...but only one, and it's in Pinwheel Forest. You gotta take a trip down memory lane with Cheren in the forest maze (cue SMRPG reference here). Also, Zinzolin will appear in his old clothing in Undella Town if you haven't been there in postgame yet.

Also, have you challenged Black Tower/White Treehollow yet? That place is NASTY! Restricting usage of your bag to held items through the Pokémon area, one doctor in the area that heals once, multiple floors from Area 6 and up... All to challenge Benga, Alder's grandson, for a shiny dragon which a lot of people hate for one reason or another!

I had to rage quit when Skyla's Swoobat killed off both my Scolipede and Vibrara with Acrobatics and Attract. I had to get bring a Gigalith from an in-game trade to the party to take down her Swoobat and Swanna.

Well, lemme tell you my team of five when I defeated the Elite Four:
Emboar Lv.59 - Blaze (Porque. Name means "why" in Spanish! XD)
Magnezone Lv.60 - Magnet Pull (Zonda C12. For my catches that I could nickname besides Emboar, I named them all after Pagani supercars.)
Lucario Lv.61 - Inner Focus (Zonda S7.3)
Keldeo Lv.61 - Justified
Genesect Lv.62 - Download

All five of them were traded to my original copy of Black for EV Training in preparation for stuff like the PWT and Battle Subway. That's how overprepared you can REALLY be!
(To explain the Event Legendaries: I made it a point to make them part of my full team, all three of them. Unfortunately, Meloetta's not out yet so I made do with the two of them that were out.)

OK, because like I said, I don't wanna bother with it until after I beat the main story. I'll let that Magnemite stay put in the PC box until I get the time for it.
