    I always enjoy comparing how things were when certain things were first announced and how they are now. Like, Fennekin as the salvation of the starters and now it isn't nearly as liked as it was before, thanks to Braixen and Delphox's designs. Chespin was never THAT popular, but it was more popular than Froakie at least. Now it is the least favorite Kalos starter, thanks to its hideous evolutions. And Froakie, well, he is the Charizard/Blaziken of Generation VI. Who would guess?

    It's still fake. SSB4 is fake. In fact, everything is fake and it's still 1998.

    Yeah. It's like in the movies where those who stay after the credits for some movies get to see something special.

    I actually prefer the 4kids version to the Japanese version. I love the cartoony voices especially Brock James and Meowth. I really hate the TPCi version as a lot of voices sound like derpy preschool show characters particularly the female voices which are so high and exuberant I find it irritating to my ears. Oh and it lacks the intellegent humor 4kids had and I can feel my brain melting at what TPCi tries to pass as humor.

    I am not a big fan of Urobuchi either, but I think you should give Gaim a try, it is really good. The feeling of the show is similar to the early Heisei Kamen Rider shows, like Kuuga, Agito and Ryuki. It is certainly far better than the snooze fest that was Wizard. And yes, Agito was amazing. Hands down my favorite Kamen Rider show.

    I don't think Blastoise is masculine, but it's a Gen 1 starter so it's pretty much except from any criticism, because nostalgia ensnares many. Chesnaught and the others do get a lot of hate for being masculine and human-like, as does Machoke. It's just not as common on Bulba, since the nature of a closed community atmosphere like this makes it seem like there's a smaller and more universal thought. (it's really weird to go on other sires and see people bashing the DP anime and praising BW, almost to ridiculous extremes.)
    I do think Blastoise is masculine, specially because the cream-colored lower part of its face look like a "beard". Still, I often check the Pokémon tags on tumblr, I am a member of Serebii and also of the Pokémon Community on neogaf, so yeah, I kind of know what I am talking about. Don't get me wrong, Emboar and Chesnaught DO get a fair share of hate (although Chesnaught is, surprisingly, the most popular Gen VI starter, with Greninja and specially Delphox getting the most criticism), but the reason people complain about Emboar is because it is a (slow) Fire/Fighting and Chesnaught for being extremely different from Chespin and looking like a mummy (lol?), not because they are manly.

    Personally, I don't mind Blastoise, Emboar, Samurott and Chesnaught looking masculine. There is a place for all sort of designs: Masculine, feminine, bipedal, quadrupedal, extremely feral, anthropomorphic, etc. I just wish people would let the feminine designs alone. Out of 18 starters, only two have slightly feminine designs (Meganium and Delphox), so it is not really a big deal.

    @Contrary;

    I explained my position before I'M tired of hearing about it I don't the type is powerful the pokemon are and my answer to the counterargument that the type is strengthen by their stats is that they don't get any benefit from each others stats. We didn't need a type to get plenty of fairy pokemon and now a normal dark fairy would make no sense now that fairy is type. Anything designed can all ready be place in the first 17 types so it's not needed to widen the pool of designs because it is already infinite. Dragon was DEBATABLLY the third most powerful type. And from what I seen Fairy is going to be dominate given it has both offensive and defensive advantages against three types including ices old exclusive and fighting and we know its not limited to weak pokemon or weak moves to balance that because
    .

    @Skuntank; It makes perfect sense it has been done so in this case I'm not impressed by it. It such a simple idea that I'd never call it an innovation at best it's a patch.
