People aren't expected to like things blindly, people have tastes and expectations. While some CAN be obnoxious about how they drive them, saying that disliking aspects of the game and vocalizing the reasons why so is inherently disrespectful and that it must stop is simply wrong.

You should be able to reset IE settings completely in the Internet Options > Advanced tab. If you're using Windows Vista or above, I think I'll also recommend that you upgrade your version of IE. Also, get the other two browsers anyway.
