No, I used Focus Blast predicting a switch, but after that it became a matter of "FOCUS BLAST WILL HIT!!!"

There's only like 8.1 x10 to the power of -3 chance of that happening... Still STAB Shadow Ball does the same amount as Focus Blast, so why not use that?

Actually, I guess it's not really my school, it's the anime club in my school. I crushed them this year with Heavy Offense, but still...

I go to school in Britain and if kids knew I played Pokemon I wouldn't have an awful lot of lunch money.

All you need is something with any move with +1 priority to beat that Riolu. Even Protect or Magic Coat works.

We should get everybody on Bulbagarden to work on a team that abuses the most overpowered stuff we can think of for your school tournament. Then when you crush everybody, even the biggest of kids will be crying in fear (Or beating you up, depending on your cultural background).

Unfortunately not. Like an idiot, I completely forgot that Dark Pulse wasn't a TM move anymore, so I didn't go get a Seviper or Gyarados, I stuck with the Scrafty that was in the Day Care already. Right now, it's moveset is Surf, Flamethrower, Draco Meteor and Crunch, just because i want to use it to beat the Elite Four second time round. I'm still deciding on another moveset.

Did it have any egg moves, like Dark Pulse?
