Methinks you typed like that on purpose. :I
.No one's pretending. ^^
And how many times have I seen statements like this before?
I'm sorry. Try to not beat yourself down about school or home drama. It will all pass- it's the price we pay for living. I know from experience that eventually you won't have strength left if you let these things hurt you. Just accept things, and try ignoring them and focusing on good things to come. Not long after your attitude changes, so will your life. You won't end up on the streets. Enjoy exploring possibilities for your future, and if you put in a little effort once you find what you want to do, you can get there. Many people, myself included, worry about their future, since it's uncertain. You can find happiness basically no matter how rich or poor you are, but your dreams are entirely reachable. Live in the moment. Life is a journey- there's no focused destination. I used to not know what I was feeling either, but you've got to make yourself think positive. Stay here for the good things you could do, for the people you cared about, for the people you care about now, and for the ones you'll care about in the future. Stay here for yourself, because the world deserves to have you on it. Stay here for the good times that will come if you allow them to, and they'll make the bad more than worth living through. I'll wish you the best, and I'm here if you ever want to talk.
I feel the exact same way towards my life.
No matter what, though, even though it may not look like it, someone will always be by your side.
You're not worthless and there's nothing you can do about it. But seriously, if you're worthless than everyone else is just as worthless. You don't have to live up to other people's standards. Don't do things for them, do things for yourself and don't give a crap what the Hell they think about your grades or whatever. The only one you'll be letting down is yourself if you keep taking people's insensitivity and ignorance seriously. Don't get angry about it, it's a fact of life, so try and let it go. You're not the hideous person you think you are. And so what if you were ugly, there would be no use taring yourself up about it. You don't need to see a talent in yourself right away. Just enjoy life and your talent will come. Everyone has good and bad qualities within themselves. Just don't obsess over it and try letting go of all the stuff you let get to you. Be strong and keep running towards the bright future that's waiting for you to find it.
Wow, it looks great!
Happy Birthday :D
Woo. Happy Birthday!
MARRY FUCKING CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO KARKAT!!!
I know that feeling. For that bad art that gots loads of comments - just consider that people commented on the bad art because they just wanted the artist to feel better. If they haven't commented on yours - it means it's perfect.
I sympathize, I really do. :S deviantART is particularly horrible for this. Good luck.
Comparing myself to other people is what made me quit things I wish I had stayed on 7 years later.
So I recommend you ask yourself: when 7 years pass from now and you've not done art since then, would you feel any regret?
Life is full of disappointments.
And this is just my opinion but if the only thing motivating you to draw/paint/whatever is being gushed with comments and reviews then you maybe shouldn't bother.

Is there any artistic reviewing system, where you sign up to critique someone's art, and in exchange someone critiques yours. I believe the Writer's Workshop has something similar, but I'm not sure. Yup. Unfortunately, the Workshop isn't quite as active as it used to be, but there's a review-swapping system in place.

I TOTALLY understand your feelings.
All I can say is, don't be a sellout and just do what's popular because for the sake of popularity. Then your creations stop being art.
You could send us a link, and we all could gargle your internet balls and drool rainbows in the comments, and try to attract some attention.
Or you could spam it on 4chan or post it to reddit.
Yeah, I get that.
