Yeah, I had to. I ended up in basically the same situation the second time. XD

But the third time, I spawned in a taiga biome. Not optimal, but preferable to an island, grassland, desert, mountain, etc.

You should go back some time and build a monument.

I've already left the island with some supplies to help me survive for some time, and I found land to the east. There's a bunch of cows and chickens there as well, so I'll be able to handle myself for a while there. It wasn't without difficulty though. Didn't knew that if you hit a squid with a boat, the boat gets destroyed.

Nice, you can live out there for a while but you are going to have to leave eventually. Of course you could always just start a new world.

Well... at least you're not likely to encounter mobs on an island.

Make sure to set up plenty of torches all over it.

Be warned, once you play it..you may never come back to the real world. But seriously though, it is awesome! You will love it.

Minecraft is very fun to play with, and making mods, though in my experience is BLEEDING IMPOSSIBLE difficult, it'd be a good experiment to try! And if Mods don't work out for you, Texture Packs are very nice to make too.

I'll consider texture packs as well then, thank you.

Also, if you're interested in Minecraft Mods, I'd reccomend Tekkit. It practically overloads the creativity. I mean, seriously. Nukes, Robots, Automatic Mining Quarries...

Yeah, that's what I'm getting at. EA doesn't care. If they did we wouldn't have a need to boycott. (Unrelated: deja vu. I dreamed about this last night. Freaky.)

Though on a related note, I've been boycotting the whatsits for 3 years. And I'm glad I did, because it seems like since then, there's been a new reason for me to dislike them popping up every day.

sim city 4 with all those crazy mods is better.

I'm not buying this one (despite loving the series) because I've read that even ignoring the entire shitfest with DRM, the game itself is hugely watered down compared to previous entries.
