    Perpetual flaming farts lol.

I had a kickass Infernape in my Platinum as well. I'm trying out Piplup's line this time in a 2nd playthrough of Platinum for something different though(have gotten burned out on using Fire-starters every Gen since Crystal, no pun intended).

Slurpuff, anyone? The fat cream-puff canine looking thing. I mean WTF Japan.

Then there's Stunfisk. It's not only ugly in a derpy way, it shocks you and then giggles to itself - evil!

Agree so much with Goodra, those were exactly my thoughts when it was revelated. The ugliest Pokemon in my opinion is Aromatisse, has ugly ears, nose and cry.

I've seen worse lists. +1 for including Goodra, Muk, Purugly, and Jynx. -1 for including the sexy beast that is Diggersby.

I pretty much agree on all fronts, especially Magmar. Always thought it was ugly. Though Weezing is the only one I disagree with, as it's supposed to be based off naval mines. I used a Weezing for a while during one of my games (my second SoulSilver, I believe) and it served me well with its defenses. But everything else I agree with, which is a shame for many of their pre-evos, as they go from cute/graceful to horrendous.

I wanted to see if the same thing applied with me, so I took some random tests and got no conclusive results. :\

Slytherin does have my four favorite types, though!

This is really freaky in a way. I'm in Gryffindor and the types you've said are the ones I use most, fire being my favourite type and Lucario being my favourite type is Fighting and Steel.

Whereas my friend, who is Ravenclaw uses mostly Fairy types and Psychics and her favourite Pokemon being Gardevoir.

I'd put Ghost in Ravenclaw, Dragon in Gryffindor (dragons are brave) and Bug in Slytherin.

I do know about the Power Herb, including that it's a one-use item and not exactly cheap. I can only assume that there are certain settings in which it's not lost forever after use and can be reused in future battles, or else you guys wouldn't be singing its praises.
Any gameplay mode where its worth bothering to stat up (i.e., not in-game).

and Zygarde, who balances and controls the two. (Which makes it weird that it's the weakest of the trio statwise.)
Maaaaybe they're trying to opposite the Hoenn weather trio, because Rayquaza, the one who calmed the two has +10 higher stat total than the other two, while Zygarde, the one who balanced Yveltal and Xerneas (so in turn, calmed them) has -80 lower. Though it's a much more drastic difference than with Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza, I have that in mind.

Geomancy is what makes Xerneas one of the most powerful pokemon in the game, make it hold a Power Herb and watch it wreck an opposing team with almost no effort. Even Lugia and Ho-oh, two of the best special walls in the game, have trouble walling it.

Geomancy is easily the best of the three moves. Give Xerneas a Power Herb and suddenly you have something that used 2 Quiver Dances in one turn and is ready to destroy a team with Moonblast.

    Xerneas: Geomancy
Xerneas is the only one of the trio whose sig. move isn't an attack. It's a stat-booster. Specifically, it greatly boosts speed and special attack and defense--on the next turn. In the meantime, Xerneas spends two turns not being able to attack. Or defend. Or retreat. Just wide open for clobbering. What the hell? Besides, Xerneas already gets a power-up from its Fairy Aura, so why couldn't TPTB have gone from there and given it a more powerful version of Moonblast?
    Two words: Power Herb

Okay, I'm pretty sure MO isn't the only one who made that connection. In fact, I'm pretty sure Meowth did in the third movie where the Unown appeared. And, yes, she did tell me about it, and I've seen the video. I'll probably make a few more MO references in future entries.

And as a side note, why the hell do I have to approve my own comments on my blog?

Want to know why it's called Unown? Because once you get one, you want to un own it!

    Unown--the Alphabet Soup Pokémon.

(Now, admittedly, my memory of the Generation IV games is a bit spotty, so if they did have something to do with the big boys--especially in the Sinjoh Ruins--someone please refresh my memory.)
Unown and Arceus worked together to teleport the player to the Sinjoh Ruins (and then back to the Ruins of Alph), and a swarm of Unown showed up during the creation of Dialga/Palkia/Giratina. The event ended with the following dialogue: "The power of Arceus and the Unown affected each other to create a huge energy, which took you to the Sinjoh Ruins...? Unown, the Ruins of Alph, and Arceus... The mystery deepens. It has made me even more inquisitive! I will one day solve all the mysteries!"

Crystal also established that Unown shared a cooperative bond with Suicune (this was seen in the opening and was referenced in-game), but nothing was really explained about that.

and I'm there fore not the only one to wonder if there may be some connection between Sigilyph and Unown. You're wondering the same thing, right? Well, keep wondering, because TPTB aren't saying anything. Too bad.
I don't think that they're any more related than Luvdisc and Alomomola are.
