The only reality shows I watch are Total Drama and Drawn Together but they don't really count since they are cartoons.
I agree that many reality shows are pointless and people just want to go on TV.
The Amazing Race is the only decent one there, I don't watch it but in each episode they do challenges in based on the country they are in so you get a taste of different cultures.
As for other reality shows and the people who watch them, I am not amused and as a catfishing victim I think your roommates are sick.
Yeah that was the other thing, everytime I thought about it, I wanted chocolate chip pancakes haha, but I guess to be fair, we didn't have any eggs either, so that might have been an factor in it. They could have aleast made some sort of idea, but they might do it tomorrow (Depends how the birthday girl feels, since she's still sick, at her party the night before she looked like she would pass out, and wasn't because she only had one beer).
I would also be disappointed by that. Chocolate chip pancakes are totally worth 10 minutes, and my friends have never acknowledged my birthday. I totally would have stayed for that.
Hmm I guess I would've been annoyed at them too. But like you said, at least you didn't make them yet. Now I kind of want chocolate chip pancakes... XD
Good luck to you! I have a total of 0 words, but I only just started. I've got a weekend coming up to grind through the disproportionately difficult beginning sections. (Hey, another Pokémon connection!)
I know! Finally I enter a realm of sanity! I knew people don't eat chocolates with freaking plates, I mean it's like seriously! He does have OCD but really, a Milky Way doesn't even leave crumbs (And when I said even that, he said ESPECIALLY MILKY WAY O.O).
Snuggle- Ironically he is in charge of vacuuming, (Despite saying he does a lot more around here.. His two jobs, mop and vaccum, I don't see happening very often at all), and he even complained about vacuuming the crumbs up (On what? Most of the living room/kitchen is hardwood floor).
Later he did say he was part serious, part joking and part stressed (Because he got up, I was only mucking around, but he had to take it the wrong way). Even if he was joking... It's funny, if I went crazy like he did, he would yell at me saying it was a joke. Double standards all around here.
No, why would I need a plate for chocolate?
Maybe a Tim Tam might make a few crumbs but I heard of this invention that creates a vacuum to suck up small things in the carpet (crumbs dust etc) through a tube and into a paper bag.
I suggest your roommate invests in one of these magical wonders, if I recall its called a vacuum cleaner.
Hope this helps.
Not only do I think it's stupid to use a plate for a bite sized snack, I think it's wasteful. I only use plates when I am eating something that's going to take me more than 5+ish bites. Otherwise no; I think it's unnecessary to use plates.
With candy, I consider the wrapper the plate. xD
If it's candy or comes in a wrapper, I usually don't use a plate unless it makes a lot of crumbs, because crumbs in the carpet are no fun. So no, I don't use plates for everything. Depending on the type of food I might not use anything at all and hardly make a mess, I'll just wash my hands afterwards.
Hm, I know it may be a hard subject but I have known people who almost attempted it, knowing how it felt and there was a semi friend who killed herself a few years ago. I also have seen the effect it has on other people who lost friends and loved ones to suicide. I sometimes feel like I have touched that void myself, come close to it (But never will, the fact knowing how bad suicide affects those left behind, I wouldn't do that to my friends and family, I know with a lot of people it's something they can't control, in their hour of darkness sometimes they cannot be saved).
I am not 100% certain if I am doing it yet or not though.
I say this as both a writer and someone who has attempted suicide and lost family members to suicide - don't do this unless you truly know what you're dealing with.
Please tell me it was just that vet, because if all vet cremated pets and threw them out, then I think there would be an outrage and everyone would be on about it.
I mean maybe that's why you can have cremated pets in a box now (I assume you couldn't about ten years ago when my last two dogs died of old age, because otherwise I think my mother would have gotten a box for them too), but if that's what they really do with dead pets, that is so horrible.. To think my two old dogs regardless dead or not, could have been thrown out and who knows where the ashes lie... If we are to respect the dead of the human race, then surely we could show the same respect for pets and other animals of the dead.
Our old dog died last summer of natural causes, and we have a big back yard, so we buried her in a soft patch of soil way in the back. I've also buried guinea pigs in the yard.
We had a cat when I was much younger who was murdered by a vet, and I think they just cremated him and threw him out.
I personally oppose euthanasia because of the whole sanctity-of-life thing.
Same, agree with it all, I don't see how Amy and Bernadette are classed as unattractive, people like Penny even stated how lucky Howard was to be with her, she found it hard to believe they were even together.
Funny how you mentioned my two favorite shows, eve funnier though because I found all those women to be quite attractive. I find though that in the modern day, and especially with the younger crowd, people only want to see 'attractive' people on their t.v. while television is solely about acting and not looks.
It's actually quite sad.
Yeah I think so too, it's just sad that actresses like the ones who play Amy and Berndatte are overlooked just because of their looks, it shouldn't be about what they look like, but how they act (Which in my opinion, both are funny). And yeah it is the same for guys, willing to bet if it was the other way around, and Howard/Raj just came on the show (Making Bernadette and Amy there for a while) it would be the same complaining.
It might also explain why it seems some people don't want Raj to have.. well anyone, I remember reading a review on one of the S6 episodes and some seemed upset at the idea Raj had a girlfriend, okay I identify with him the most, never had a "girlfriend" (Despite I have literally had no romance of any kind, he has) and knows exactly how it feels, but why is it a big deal if the writers don't make him lonely and sad, and actually have him be happy.
How it's wrong for Howard to marry her and acting like it's all a big deal just because they aren't hot as Penny.
None of the guys there are as hot as Penny either so....
Maybe its just some sad basement dwellers who wish to vicariously live through the lives of TV nerds they identify with and it bothers them that "they" don't get to have a relationship with Penny.
my problem is i'm in an area where every election the vote is ~70% liberal so i actually do know that my vote goes nowhere lmao
I feel weird because I might be the only American following these elections.
