nice overall ideas but i dont think we will see many normal dual-types besides what we have and based on when we see them they might as well be on gen 6 :) (girafirig on gen 2 and bibarel gen 4) besides nice mon combos.
About the starters dolphins r good water starters thou having them walk on land would be weird since pokemon company makes mon to be used in anime also so they will think something to walk on land just so the anime team wont have problems catching them. other than that your starter final evolves was what was intended on gen 4 so it might just come true.

FOUR ideas out of that entire post involved Ghost-types that possess other Pokemon. How is that "most"?

-Psychic/Dark: a zebra Pokemon. Instead of black and white, it's black and purple.

Could be the girafarig evolution.And most of your ideas are of possessed pokemon,that could cause MORE controversy.And too many possessed pokemon is too unoriginal,even though the ideas are different.

Right, well, I don't see why that couldn't change. The Grass-type starter has always been reptilian as well, so that's why I intentionally wanted a bird-based Grass starter.
