The Water Zone: Sapphire Island Recorded History

Sapphire Island
A newly discovered island east of Mossdeep City. Recently Devon Corp. has begun settlement and exploration of the island as well as starting good relations with the island natives.

The island's name is derived from the astonishingly large amount of gems found all over, especially sapphires. Scientist believe the bulk of the gems were created when the island formed. As there is no volcanic or siesmic activity on the island, it is believed the island was formed when a meteor primarily composed of gems or the raw materials of gems crashed into the ocean. Upon it's speeding course through the Earth's atmosphere, the gems crystallized into the beautiful stones they are now. Islanders have ancient legends telling of the islands formation. They believe that their ancestors cast out the stones into the ocean as an offering to the gods, who then raised the island for them as their sancutary. Either way, the island's origins are still a mystery.

Devon Corp. has invited hundreds of trainers from around the world to help with the settlement, exploration, and investigation of the island while still respecting the wishes of the islanders, which is simply- don't take any gems you find without seeking divine permission.

You are one of the many trainers sent here by Devon. Upon arrival, you are given a GPS Satellite TPP (TPP for Tracker, Phone, and Pokedex). With this you can call for help or be saved if you are ever lost or in trouble on the island.

Areas:

Southern Beach- Where the boat dropped everyone off. The beach stretches for as far as the eye can see and the waters are as clear as glass.

Ocean Waters & Reefs- Surf is necessary as the only boat are the ones bringing Trainers and Supplies and will not have time to transport people to where they want to go. Dive is necessary for exploring the reefs.

Devon Settlement- About 10 yards from the southern most beach of Sapphire Island. The settlement has the bare necessities for all the people. Mainly just tents all around, the site does have a make-shift Pokemon Center for the trainers to heal their Pokemon. Technicians are always working to keep the radio tower working and the power generators running. Pokemon walk on patrol in constant vigil of any possible wild Pokemon that may attack. Also, many scientists await here for a brave Pokemon trainer to help accompany and escort them through the island to fufill their thirst for knowledge. Here is a list of people in the Devon Corp. Settlement you may call:
*Rex Adams- Head of the Settlement. He is a survivalist expert and a natural born leader. If you are in troubling situations, you can always call Rex for help. If you are ever hurt and unable to move, he can call for an expedition force to come retrieve you. But he is a busy man commanding the Devon Corp. Expedition, so only call him if it is of utmost importants.
*Nurse Joy- Being a Pokemon Medical Specialist, she can always help you if your Pokemon may need help. She knows the local flora well enough to know what plants are poisonous and what are not. She also knows what plants may benefit your Pokemon. Unfortunately, she is also the only nurse here, so at times she may be swamped with work helping all the trainers Devon Corp. sent over. Occassionally she may ask you for help as well, such as finding special cures or healing herbs found on the island.
*Professor Sylvia- Head of exploration trips. In order for scientists to begin research expeditions on the island, they must first see Sylvia for approval. She will provide you with necessary supplies needed. If you leave without permission, she will likely not help you should something go wrong.

Sapphire Village- One mile north of the settlement in the dense jungle lies the Sapphire Village. Devon Corp. quickly sent several linguists to learn their language so they can have good relations with them. After some time, the linguists learns much of their tongue, but to their surprise, some of the natives learned to speak English as well. As of now, Devon Corp. maintains a good relationship with the natives by respecting their customs and helping them whenever possible.
*Ichigo Summers- Devon's top linguistic. Born half-Japanese and half-American, she became extremely interested in linguisitics and became dedicated to learning as much as possible. Because of her nature, she has learned a great deal of the native's language and is Devon's translator. She helps maintain the good relations between them and us. Sometimes she may ask for help on behalf of either Devon Corp. or the Village.
*Zam-Zil-Zoo-Zug- A villager who has learned English over the coarse of time Devon Corp. had been on the island. He can help where Ms. Summers may fail, such as reading certain signs or knowing what certain momuments are. Unfortunately he is easily distracted and may forget to answer your questions let alone the ringing phone.

Emerald Jungle- A large jungle that spans over a large portion of the island. The settlement and village are found within the jungle. The villagers have one road that cuts through the jungle to there temple as well as key areas like the river and lake. The islanders warn people to stay on the road unless they have a brave soul or a broken mind. It is known for it's many dangers ranging from vicious Pokemon to poisonous plants as well as other mysteries that should be left undiscovered. The soil is said to have large deposits of emeralds, which seem to have mysterious growth enhancing powers, but as per islander's wishes, you are not to take them without special permission.

Turquoise River- A rapid flowing river that cuts through the middle of the Emerald Jungle. It's floor has large turquoise settlement that is said to keep the water fresh and pure, thus helping Pokemon grow strong. Even simple Magikarp are said to be larger and stronger here then anywhere else.

Lapis Lake- The lake which feeds the Turquoise River and Jade Swamp. It itself is fed by the Diamond Waterfalls which spews from the Ruby Mountain. The lake itself is quite large and is the main watering hole for many of the islands wild Pokemon.

Diamond Falls- A waterfall that sparkles like diamonds in the sun. The waters come out of the wall of the Ruby Mountain and feeds the island with fresh water. The water spews out with such force, no one has been able to investigate what the underground source is.

Jade Swamp- A swamp that is on the opposite side of lake to the river. The water levels are high and many Pokemon roam the murky waters. Unlike the river, the swamp is considerably dangerous to walk in. Sinkholes cover the area and the Pokemon like to perform sneak attacks thanks to the filthy waters. The Jade Swamp gets it's name from the jade colors algae that floats atop the water.

Ruby Mountain- The only mountain on Sapphire Island. As said before, it has no volcanic or siesmic activity, but there are many tunnels made by the various Pokemon that live here. The ground sparkles with rubies, which is said to help make the soil so rich and the Pokemon so strong.

Crystal Peak- The icy top of Ruby Mountain. High up where the atmosphere is thin and the air is cold, this area is heavily darkened by the haze and fog. Villagers only come here for trials of manhood as the Ice Pokemon here are very territorial and do not take visitors kindly. With the darkness and cold conditions, it makes it very difficult to travel.

Temple Grounds- On the opposite side of the Ruby Mountain from the Village, the Temple stands there as a tribute to the gods who gave the island to the villagers. Every few years the villagers take a journey to the Temple for special prayer and for the Elders to ask for guidance. It was luckyDevon Corp.met the villagers before they went on the journey or they may not have had approved of interaction with Devon Corp. until their next trip to the Temple. But even though their gods have approved of good relations with Devon Corp. and the explorers, the Temple Grounds are too sacred for outsiders and guarded by many of the villagers strongest warriors. Perhaps during the next journey, the gods will allow Devon Corp. to visit the temple site.

You've just been dropped off on Sapphire Island Beach. All your necessary belongings are in your backpack. The raft that brought you here is gone. Back to the main ship in the middle of the ocean. There's no turning back- a new world is ready to be explored by you. What will you do?

Wayne looked in awe at the new land in front of him. Taking a pokéball from his bag Wayne easily let out the pokémon inside it. A sparkly white light quickly took the shape of a dog. Looking at the dog Wayne then heard a bark. With a grin on his face Wayne bent down and petted the fiery dog. "Hey Danté. This is a new place we are exploring, you like it?" Barking kind of mad at Wayne's question he then realized why the pup didn't like it much, there was water all around him. "I forgot you don't like water very much. Hey I have an idea, why don't we go to train somewhere where you could do training faster." Quickly examining a map of the new island he instantly knew where to go. 'How about the Crystal Peak boy?" Barking excitedly the dark little pup knew that it would be the perfect place for him to so something unnatural for his species. "Ok then Crystal Peak it is." Wayne and Houndour then started to walk towards their new destination, Crystal Peak looking for a new adventure.

Lapis Lake- The lake which feeds the Turquoise River and Jade Swamp. It itself is fed by the Diamond Waterfalls which spews from the Ruby Mountain. The lake itself is quite large and is the main watering hole for many of the islands wild Pokemon.
After splashing up on the shore of Sapphire Island, Joe decided not to stay on the beach, but instead, adventure deep into the Island. He needed somewhere to go, and decided to let one of his pokemon lead the way. He took out a pokeball, and released Plusle, who started jumping around.
"Plusle, looks like you're going to be my guide, so to speak, so lead the way!" said Joe, as he petted Plusle on the head. Plusle bounced around happily, and then slowly walked off, in the direction of the Lapis Lake.

Sighing, Stephen finds himself once again on the ship leading to the Water Zone, but this time, a new twist added. "Sapphire Island." Stephen says this as he looks out of the boat, his elbows gently leaning on the new, aluminum railings of the ship.

Looking into the sky, Stephen watches as a pack of Wingull fly overhead, with no clear formation. He sighs again, before he reaches to his belt. Pulling out a red and white sphere, he tosses it onto the ships deck. It bounces off the ground, and a small circular white light illuminates the area for a split second, before the light fades.

"Spheal!" Outside of its Pokeball for the first time in quite a while, the small Pokemon shrieks in delight in the sea setting.

"A bit better than the Volcano Zone, huh Spheal?" Stephen asks with a smile. The small Pokemon nods, before it slowly moves over to him. He pulls out a map, and lays it out on the ground, for Spheal to see. "Now, Spheal, where will we be heading?"

Spheal looks at the map intently for a few moments, before it points to an elevated point on the map. It read, Crystal Peak.

"Spheal, are you sure? We will have to go through the Ruby Mountain to get there..." Stephen says, with a bit of hesitancy in his voice.

However, with a load of self confidence, the small Pokemon shrieks "Spheal!"

"If you're sure. Let's go!"

Wondering why the hell he was commiting suicide by entering another zone, James shook his head away from thoughs of large gyarados - "Eep!" - swarming tentacruel - "Erk..." - and general extremely dangerous pokemon. After checking the sand beneath his feet wasn't wet, the teenager lowered himself onto the floor, stared at the ocean where his raft had sailed off, and rocked in the faetal position for a few minutes.

A small click was heard, and a pokeball from the trainers belt exploded in read light, opening up. The light slowly began to twist about, until the form of a seasick tediursa could be seen. The bear looked at his slowly rocking trainer before sighing.

"Are you going to do this all day?"

Between his legs, James's head nodded. "There's no way I'm moving from this spot," said the fifteen-year-old. "Everytime we enter a new zone, I end up getting crushed, beaten, or angered somehow. I've found a solution - don't move once you're there."

The bear known as Jiroubi growled menacingly, before taking a bit into his trainers arm. "We're going to move, you know," said the muffled voice of the teddiursa, still clamped down on James's arm. "Because if we don't, and I'm stuck on a beach for the rest of my life, I'm not letting go."

Howling in pain, James leapt to his feet, shaking his pokemon off. "Ok, ok! Jesus Christ... I need to get you a shrink for your anger problems."

"This from the boy who freaks out anytime he goes ANYWHERE new?"

"...Shut up." Grabbing a bag from behinjd his back, James pulled out a map that had (rather conveniently for the person writing this) been bought before coming to Sapphire Island. Grunting slightly, James pointed to a large green patch on the paper. "There," he said to Jiroubi, starting to walk along the beach. "The "Emerald Jungle." Hmm... doesn't have any other information. Oh well. I'm sure it's fine."

Jiroubi almost tripped. "Are you stupid or something? It's a jungle, with posionous snakes, wild elephants, and a complete lack of honey! I NEED honey!" Jiroubi smirked confidently, obviously thinking he'd found an argument that would convince James to leave. "Besides, you're more likely to get hurt there."

James snorted. "That's what someone might think, but before, I've been trying to avoid danger. If I go looking for it, in bizzaro world, it won't appear!"

"Oh whatever, let's just go..."

And with that, Jiroubi and James walked into the sunset, like in movies, never to be seen again. Except they were seen again. So nevermind.

Stuart cheered with joy as he ran along the beach readily awaiting a new adventure on Sapphire Island. Suddenly Stuart was sent tummbling to the ground as he tripped on a small creature, he watched the small angry critter scurry away swiftly while Stuart slowly raised to his feet. Next he began to wipe the sand of his now dirty clothes, however next he checked his belt, but only seeing 5 Pokeballs left.

"Oh my god!" Stuart shrieked as he jumped onto his knees and began to move the sand out of the way in an attempt to find the Pokeball. After a few seconds he saw a small red and white object sitting on the sand just sitting. Stuart stared at Pokeball wondering who is belonged to. He quickly snatched up the Pokeball trying not to lose it again, however at the same time carefully exaiming it. "Blackrose..." Stuart whispered softly as the stood up once again.

"Well since i've never used Gyarados before maybe I should go somewhere, which she'll like." Stuart begant to think for a couple of seconds as he glanced quickly at the areas where he can go. "Well Turquoise River or Lapis Lake should work for Blackrose." After a few seconds longer he finally made his choice as he walked briskly in the direction of it.

"Going to the Turquoise River!"

Anxious to start another exciting journey, Justin jumps off the raft. As he observes the Sapphire Beach, his mind fills with fantasy. His pokemon, Swablu, Seel, Girafarig, Treecko and Electrike are all ready to go. As the raft sails away, Seel and Girafarig are instantly warped back to the daycare center in UPN.

"I forgot about those two," Justin tells his other pokemon. "They're at the daycare leveling up."

Swablu, Treecko and Electrike show a lot of enthusiasm. They feel lucky to be a part of this grand adventure.

"Of course, I'll be sending you guys to daycare next week. You really need to gain some levels." Justin says, looking at Treecko and Electrike. Treecko understands, as she hasn't gained one level since Justin received her. Electrike is quite disappointed, but quickly gets over it.

"Well, are you guys ready? Let's head to Lapis Lake. We'll probably have some awesome battles with the local pokemon!"

[Manji]

Nathen was glad to be off the shaky little boat...he didn't think his stomach could take any more. Pacing up and down, with his feet sinking into the warm sand, he release Bandit from his pokeball, who stretched and blinked inquistively at Nathen.

"Well, here we are, a bright new zone to explore!" Nathen declared with genuine enthusiasm. Bandit idly turned sand over himself while Nathen pored over the map with the air of an excited young child.

"There's so many places to visit..." He said, "and the boat doesn't come back for a couple of days. What do you say to a hike over the Jade Swamp? Sounds exotic, ne?"

Despite the fact that Bandit seemed physically repulsed with the idea of traipsing around a stinky swamp, Nathen took the initiative and headed in the general direction of the dark forest, his eyes gleaming with the promise of adventure.

[Solarsaur]

Adam decides to go to Ruby Mountain for the sole purpose of looking for rock or fire type Pokemon. Soon he decides to sit down and rest a bit.

Adam: Ah. I'll hopefully be there in no time at all.Then I can possibly catch some Pokemon, or at least train.

He continues to wander around the island, looking for any sign of the mountain. He decides to let out Trapinch, as it may like the arm climate.

Adam: Okay, one of my new team members. We're gonna go to Ruby Mountain and train. Does that sound good to you?

Neku: Trap! Trap! Inch! <Not like I have a choice>

The duo begin to wander somemore when Adam realizes they're lost. Trapnch is just horrible at 'being nice'. He uses too much sarcasim in Adam's opinion.

Adam: Ah, great. We're lost. Oh well, could be worse I suppose. We could be lost and be starving.

They start again, looking for any sign of the mountain, or at least thedge of it in sight.

Thed could see the new zone of Sapphire Island while still on the boat. The island was growing larger and larger with each passing minute. Thed was quite excited to be starting a new adventure and with that he decided that it was time to pick a place to adventure first.

He took out the GPS TPP and looked at the different places he wanted to go. He heard a couple of trainers saying aloud where each of them wanted to go. But, thed wanted to go someplace where no of the other trainers were heading off to this time. He saw on the GPS TPP that there was a beach right where the boat lands and he didn't hear anyone saying that they were heading to the beach as well.

With that in mind Thed made the decision to explore the Southern Beach, hopefully he could somehow find a bodyboard so that he may relive some memories from back home.

Suicide got off the boat, as did other trainers. He took a few steps, then decided where to head to. "I guess the best place to train my pokemon would be Lapis Lake. But Diamond Falls sounds more like an adventure." he thought to himself. Not knowing what to do, he Unclipped a pokeball, and released his Ledian. The little bug type pokemon took a big yawn, then a big smile. "Ahoy there sailor. Welcome to Sapphire Island." She gave him a confused look, then took flight. "Well, I was wondering where we should head too. I was thinking Diamond Falls, but Jade Swamp seems to have tickled my tummy." Suicide took a map out of his bag, then gave it to Ledian, who started to nibble on it. "AH!" he said, quickly snatching the map away. A small tear dripped down her eye. "No eating paper. End of story. Now were gonna go towards the Jade Swamp. Since no one else is going, we should have some peace and quiet." Suicide quickly trotted off, Ledian quickly wiped the tear away, then started to fly beside her trainer.

Joshua strolls off the boat, finally happy that he can begin another adventure. He looks over the map, and the area known as Emerald Jungle' catches his eye.

He unclips a Pokeball from his belt, and releases his Umbreon, Michael. The small black fox appears beside him, yawning loudly as he stretches to re-awaken his muscles.

"Well Michael, I think it's time I start adding to my gem collection." Michael glances up at Joshua, who blushes. "Alright, so I don't have one yet. So sue me."

Joshua's fingers trace the area known as the Emerald Jungle. "I would love to get my hands on one of those emeralds. I wonder who I'd have to talk to, in order to get permission to take one."

Michael gave him an expression that said he'd much rather find something to battle, but he followed his trainer to the Emerald Jungle.

Stacey landed on the beautiful shores of Sapphire Island with the sun shining down on her face and a coll breaze wafting through her hair. She smiled, she could tell that was going to be such a nice place to explore and maybe she could get a little down time. She reached down to her waist and pondered which pokemon to spend her time here with. She smiled as her fingers rested over the 4th ball on her belt and she plucked it off delciately, enlarging it and threw it into the air. With a snap and a bang the ball open and spew out light that formed into the shape of her Shuppet, Lucius. The ball flew back to her hand where it was reattatched to her belt.

"So Lucius, I bet you'd like to explore a little and have some fun?" she asked her ghost who floated around happily cackling. He stopped and barrelled into Stacey in a somewhat excited hug.
"I'll take that as a yes." she said.
"Shuppet, shup suppet pet" (I so want fun, and pull pranks, you have chocolate?) he sais rather hastily, fearing that his time out in the world may be cut short for some reason.
Sighing, Stacey took some chocolate form her backpack and fed it to her already hyper Ghostie, knwoing he would be even worse in a few minutes.
The Sapphire Village is not far from here, it seems like a nice place to explore, come on Lucius lets go and meet the natives."
The two of them began their walk through the Jungle towards the small Village, Lucius vibrating with energy and happiness.

Catherine steeped off the boat and looked around wondering what to do. She looked down into her arms where her Rattata named Joshua slept. She smiled as she petted his gourgous golden fur. There were many places where she could go but she did not no where she would go. There were many great places waiting for her to visit. A few places dashed through her head and then one stoped Jade Swamp. Catherine wondered why that had even come to why would she want to go to a Swamp? Then as she thought about it more it sounded more and more fun. It might be a dangrous place but there would be lots to explore and you could have great fun at a Swamp she thought as she remembered a trip she had to the swamp with her class a few years ago. That was fun, well not for all. It would be dirty but who cared when there was a adventure waiting for her.

"Off to the Swamp," she yelled out as she started running off to Jade Swamp.

Trudging along the beach, Zora grabbed a Pokeball and a Great Ball from his belt, tossing them at the ground in front of him, Slowqueen and Wooper emerging in flashes of Blue and Crimson. "Wooper, Rain Dance!" Zora commanded, the little axoltl beginning to do a little jig.
{Was there any point to that?} Slowqueen asked.
"Yes. I'm going to get wet as soon as I get in the ocean, so everyone else might as well suffer with me." Zora retorted, a grin on his face.
{In other words, because your a jerk.} Slowqueen snapped back.
"Nah. That's the people who forgot their umbrellas and want to remain dry. Now let's go swimming."
{Why do I even bother to keep him afloat?}
"Ooooh-pah!"
{Yes. Yes indeed.}

Ocean Waters & Reefs:

ZoraJolteon: Releasing Slowqueen and Wooper, you command Wooper to use Rain Dance, much to Slowqueens apparent confusion.. Wooper causes some rain to fall and all 3 of you get soaking wet.. You then decide you’re all ready to get into the Ocean and explore. Slowqueen and Wooper get into the water and you follow, holding onto Slowqueens torso. She then begins to swim, and you kick your legs to aid her.. Wooper, meanwhile swims around you happily. All is well until a Wingull swoops down and divebombs Wooper, trying to pluck it out of the water! Wingull fails and then flies off and you and Slowqueen swim over to see if Wooper is okay only to watch the small pokemon be scooped up by a Pelipper who proceeds to fly off with Wooper in its mouth! How will you react?


Emerald Jungle:

P-Arts: After a very traumatic reminder of the past and a wake-up call from Jiroubi you decide to head off to the Emerald Jungle. With Jiroubi walking beside you, both of you observe the different surroundings you pass through until you come to your destination; the Emerald Forest, which covers most of this small island. As you enter the forest, you find yourself off the marked road given by the villagers native to the island. You begin to panick, looking around at all of the dangers around you; Poisonous plant vines extend themselves across the ground and up the tropical trees and the ground is soft, your feet sinking into it. You cringe and stop still, as a barrage of Poison Stings pelt Jiroubi in the back of the head from up a nearby tree. How will you react?

Kiera: After hearing about the gems that lie within the soil of the Emerald Jungle, you grin in anticipation and set off with Michael by your side. You reach the Emerald Jungle and luckily, you find the path which leads through the forest, which is the safest route. The area looks quite dingy, with poisonous trees and plants lining the edges of the path.. After a few minutes of walking you spot an Oddish walking down the path, singing “Odd odd oddish ish ish odd, odd odd odd ish odd ish!” You then notice that it’s body is completely covered in the emeralds from the ground. It then turns around and sees you, in panick it releases a Stun Spore in defense, unsure what to make of you and Micheal. What will you do?

Turquoise River:

Torkoal Stu: Having almost lost one of your oldest companions, you decide on a nice place to go where Blackrose would like it. After deciding on the Turquoise river, you set off and go through the forest. You emerge next to the River which looks beautiful; the water shimmers and you see many different fish pokemon swimming in the depths. You then hear a scream coming from the sky. You look up and see a huge Fearow, with a small Goldeen clamped in it’s claws! The Goldeen is screaming in pain, desperate for help. What will you do?

Lapis Lake:

Joe: Both you Plusle decide on your destination; Lapis Lake. Plusle bounces along happily with you following it from behind. After about a good half an hours walk through the forest, you are greeted by the sight of the Lapis Lake. You stop and take in the beautiful scenery, the bright sun shines onto the Lake, creating a shimmer along the Lake’s surface. Plusle looks in awe as she notices something and begins to run off towards the Lake! You run after her and notice she is standing on a lily pad, excitedly bouncing up and down. All of a sudden, the lily pad begins to shuffle around. You blink, confused until you see Plusle drop into the shallow water of the Lake and an angry Lotad is revealed! The small pokemon then rushes towards Plusle for an Astonish attack. How will you react?

SkepticReptile: You and your 3 pokemon set off to Lapis Lake in search of adventures and battles. After a while walking, you get to your destination. The beauty of the lake is apparent, with the sun shimmering off the lake’s surface. You smile and sit down to admire it further.. You look down towards the lake and spot a Corphish aimlessly smacking his claws against a rock nearby. Confused, you stand and walk towards it and stop only a few steps away from him. Corphish then stops and looks at you, with an angry twinkle in his eye. You are then shocked to see Corphish growl and then fire a barrage of bubbles in Swablu’s direction. Swablu then gets angry too and starts to shout at Corphish, who merely shouts back at Swablu. How will you calm them down?




Jade Swamp:

Manji: Bandit not very impressed with your decision to head to the Jade Swamp, follows you regardless as you hike through the forest and around the Lapis Lake to find the Jade Swamp. The sight that greets you is a lot different to the other area. There are holes everywhere filled with slime with jade algae floating on top, in front of you is the swamp itself. You walk forwards and inspect it further, the swamp emitting quite a foul smell when you go up close. Bandit turns his nose up in disgust as a Poliwag squirts you in the backside with a Water Gun! Bandit begins to laugh as the Poliwag then hops into one of the sink holes, then pops his head and pokes a small tongue out at you! How will you react?

Suicide: Deciding that the Jade Swamp would be a quiet place to go, both you and Ledian head towards Jade Swamp, through the jungle.. When you arrive there, it is indeed quiet and you and Leadian stop and enjoy the serenity.. Something then catches your eye; There is one lone Barboach diving from swamp sinkhole to swamp sinkhole.. It does so gracefully and effortlessly. You walk towards it and are then smacked in the face by a load of mud sent flying off the ground by a Whiscash that has just emerged from the Swamp. It looks at you angrily.. Seems that the Barboach is important to it and you just pissed off a usually very docile pokemon.... What will you do?

Latias10: With Joshua bundled in your arms, you decide on going to the Jade Swamp, and so you set off from the beach, eager to get there. After quite a while of walking, you arrive at your destination. You look about a notice the huge Jade Swamp in the middle of the area, then there are several sink holes scattered around the place. Looking around, the place is seemingly quiet.. But then a Surskit emerges from the nearby shrubs and hops onto the swamp and begins to skate along the surface elegantly and without any effort at all. This is a spectacular sight to behold, you move forwards to get a closer look , but then you find you can’t move! You feet have sunk into a particularly soft part of the ground and has trapped you. Surskit then looks at you in panic, and begins to approach you, not looking happy that you peeked in on its little show.. What will you do?

[Waterlight]

Diamond Falls- A waterfall that sparkles like diamonds in the sun. The waters come out of the wall of the Ruby Mountain and feeds the island with fresh water. The water spews out with such force, no one has been able to investigate what the underground source is.

As Tom climbed out of the raft, he thanked the sailor and walked further across the beach. After finding a rock, he sat himself down and pulled out a map.

"Hmm... It looks like this whole island is our kind of place. Water everywhere," Tom murmered as he threw a Pokéball, releasing a long serpent snoozing, blowing fire out of his nose as he snored. "Gyarados, I brought you out for your opinion - not your sleep-talking.

"Raauuuuurrr....Grrrraaaaaggghh!" The aquatic dragon raged as he glared at Tom somewhat menacingly.

"Guardian, we have a whole island of water to discover and you want to sleep? Pfft. You've complained for months about not been able to come here and when you get the chance you go to sleep? Pathetic," Tom taunted as he pretended to walk up the beach while Gyarados' eyes started to glow blue in anger. "So you want to come then? Then let's go!"

Gyarados then returned to it's ball as Tom made the decision on where to go.

"Well, Diamond Falls would be fun, plus with my Water Pokémon we could find the source! Relicanth and I could follow the river. Perfect!"

He then followed the map's directions to Diamond Falls...

SkepticReptile: You and your 3 pokemon set off to Lapis Lake in search of adventures and battles. After a while walking, you get to your destination. The beauty of the lake is apparent, with the sun shimmering off the lake’s surface. You smile and sit down to admire it further.. You look down towards the lake and spot a Corphish aimlessly smacking his claws against a rock nearby. Confused, you stand and walk towards it and stop only a few steps away from him. "Ok, that's slightly unusual," Justin comments, although no one listens to him. He is in shock over how angry his Swablu has gotten at a Corphish. After all, Swablu had been scared silly by a Shuppet in the Haunted Mansion.

Justin watches Swablu and Corphish continue to bicker. Electrike has gotten quite bored, so he tries to come up with another plan.

"Electrike, go take a swim in the lake," Justin tells her. "That way, when I send you to daycare next week, nothing significant affecting you will occur."

He then looks at Treecko. "Forget about going to daycare next week. This battle experience is too hard to resist!" Treecko jumps up. "Use a leer on Corphish, followed by multiple pounds.

Justin now stares at Swablu. This fight doesn't really suit Swablu's character. "Return, Swablu!" Against Swablu's will, he is sucked into the sphere to rest. Justin now watches as Treecko prepares to fight.

[Thibideau]

Stepping off the ferry, Aiden looked around to get a full veiw of the zone. The sound of Wingull flying around the dock echoed in to his ears. The newly discovered island seemed to be a very peaceful place. It felt good to be somewhere that wasn't cluttered by people.

The zone was full of adventure, but it was the sea that called to Aiden. Turning 180 degree's he was facing the open water. The sound of the waves coming out from sea were rythmic. Pushing his black cape aside and reaching to his belt, he pulled a Pokeball off it and enlarged it in his hand. Pressing the release trigger caused a flash of light to errupt from the small sphere. In mere seconds Aiden's Cloyster had appeared on the docks.

Aiden:"Feel up for a swim Pandora?"

The Cloyster opened her bivalve shell and a her big grin was a clear indication of her agreement.

Aiden:"Thats my girl. Take us out a ways and then we'll dive to the under sea reef."

Cloyster nodded and rolled off the dock and into the water. Following her lead Aiden took a leap of the dock and landed perfectly on her shell. Pandora loved the ocean. It was the place of her earliest memories and somewhere she felt safe. Jetting out into the open sea with her trainer sitting patiently on her back, she took the water in for all its glory. Aiden smiled as he felt Pandora zig-zag through the water. It gave him a sense of peace knowing his pokemon were happy.

After a 30 minute ride out into the ocean the Underwater Reef. Tapping his hand on Pandora's shell signalled her to slow down. Coming to a full stop Aiden looked around his Cloyster to see the Reef radienting in the suns rays.

Aiden:"Lets dive Pandora. I figure you deserve to be back home for a while."

Pandora smiled in agreement and blew a big bubble around Aiden and herself. and in seconds the two disappeared under the waves and sinking to the coral reef below.

[Joe]

Lapis Lake:

After getting to the Lapis Lake, Joe was quite surprised at how beautiful this place actually was. As he was looking around, Plusle decided to hop onto a lilypad, to it's own dismay. After being flipped into the shallow water by the Lotad she stood on, Plusle got angrier than Joe had ever seen her.

"Whoa, Plusle, calm down! Nobody gets away with humilating any of us, do they? Let's show this Lotad who's boss! Start off by trying to paralyse it with a Thunder Wave, then use a Quick Attack, did you get that?" asked Joe.

"Yeah, I got it. Are you sure you don't want me to use some more offensive moves? That'd sure make me happy!" replied Plusle angrily, while rubbing one of her fists, and stretching her legs.

"Fine, if you want, use another Quick Attack, but don't overdo it, you don't want to get too tired so soon into the battle," explained Joe, and he motioned for Plusle to start attacking, which she did gleefully.

[ZoraJolteon]

ZoraJolteon: Releasing Slowqueen and Wooper, you command Wooper to use Rain Dance, much to Slowqueens apparent confusion.. Wooper causes some rain to fall and all 3 of you get soaking wet.. You then decide you’re all ready to get into the Ocean and explore. Slowqueen and Wooper get into the water and you follow, holding onto Slowqueens torso. She then begins to swim, and you kick your legs to aid her.. Wooper, meanwhile swims around you happily. All is well until a Wingull swoops down and divebombs Wooper, trying to pluck it out of the water! Shouting a stream of commands at Wooper, Zora quickly realised the futility of doing so, as the wide distance between him and the Pelipper eliminated any chance of Wooper hearing it, as did her lack of developed ears. {You're not very bright, are you?} Slowqueen commented, never missing an opportunity to criticise her trainer.
"Do you have any better ideas?"
{Yes. Use the solution standing right in front of you.}
"Eureka!" Zora proclaimed, after a few seconds of deep pondering. "Slowqueen, you're telepathic! Tell Wooper to use an Ancient Power on Pelipper, then fill it's beak with Mud Shots!"
{I was suggesting that you actually use me to fight, not as a bleeding psychic loudspeaker!}
"So? My idea works, do it."
{Very well. But I better get paid for this or something.}
"Fine, I'll give you everything I own if you do this. But since I own you, technically I'm not losing anything." Zora replied with a smirk.
{I do hate you so very deeply at times like this you know.}
"Yeppers, but you love me the rest of the time. Now microphoneify please."
{Somehow I doubt microphoneify is a real word. Very well though. WOOPER! LISTEN UP!} Slowqueen yelled in the direction of Pelipper, as Zora looked on hopefully, while clutching his head in pain as Slowqueen decided to send the extra-loud message to him as well.

After the barrage of needles finaly stopped, James looked over to his pokemon and winced. I am so gonna die...

Growling angrily, Jiroubi started to swipe at his face to get rid the stingers stuck in it, getting some out but also leaving a rather large cut down his right eye. The bear then realised the problem with rushing, so took the time to pull each needle out on it's own; James winced each time one was pulled out.

Five minutes later, with that done, Jiroubi then launched himself into the air, colliding with his trainers face. Fortunately for the trainer, the bear wasn't heavy enough to make him fall down; unfortunately for the trainer, the bear decided to swipe at the teenagers face instead.

After several minutes of conversation (The word "NOOO!" came up a lot), Jiroubi finally jumped off and landed onto the floor gracefully, ignoring the moans of pain from his trainer.

"Reminded me to teach you Take Down," groaned James, glacing warily about for what caused the brawl to happen. Unfortunately, he couldn't see anything. "Jiroubi," he said calmly, wiping the sweat off his brow. "I ... don't like this. Something doesn't feel right."

"Oh, really?" exclaimed Jiroubi sarcastically, scratching the back of his head.

"Er, apart from that. Watch out - we don't know what this is, so Leer it down, then Rock Tomb. Follow up with a Fire Punch to Fury Swipes. Stay on your guard."

"Easy for you to say," muttered the bear, pulling a needle that he's missed from the back of his head.

[Norkia]

Ruby Mountain- The only mountain on Sapphire Island. As said before, it has no volcanic or siesmic activity, but there are many tunnels made by the various Pokemon that live here. The ground sparkles with rubies, which is said to help make the soil so rich and the Pokemon so strong.


Rivka paces along a trail passing by the great mountain of Sapphire Island, somewhat intrigued by the glittering soil as the sparks of crimson make slight crunches with every step she takes. Wiping her damp brow, she pauses for a moment to pull a canteen from her pack and gulps down some of the contents. She has been yearning for a good hiking trip, and the Ruby Mountain poses to pack a perfect place for doing it. Rivka looks way up to the top, eyeing the peak, then looks back and continues on her way, scanning for any possible caves or crevasses within the mountain that yeild a possible entry to the mountain's interior; she's well prepared to get through any darkness, thanks to her Nuzleaf, but that doesn't rule out any surprises to come her way.

Knowing this pokemon is very territorial, Suicide could only think of one thing to do, BATTLE. He turned to Ledian, who was already pumped. "Okay girl, looks like we're gonna battle for the first time in this new place." Ledian stretched her arms, then took an odd battling pose. "Okay then, lets start this thing off with a Supersonic. Hopefully this will stop it from diving into the sinkholes. Then use a Psybeam attack, quickly followed by a Mega Punch." Ledian nodded, then flew closer towards the Whiscash. "Oh, and if it just so happens to dive into another sinkhole, Icy Wind it, maybe we'll be able to run if it freezes."

First of all, thanks for updating me Becki. It's nice to see a familiar face over here.

Joshua and Michael walk side by side along the safest route, which pleases Michael, but for some reason annoys Joshua. He is about to voice his mind, when he notices the scary-looking plants on the sides of the road. A tremor runs down his spine, before he continues along the path silently.

After a few minutes, Joshua decides a conversation is in order. He opens his mouth to speak, when the soprano seedling comes walking down the path. Joshua looks over the small plant, and a broad grin comes across his face when he sees that it is covered in emeralds.

The Oddish sees him and Michael, and Joshua cringes as a cloud of Stun Spore is released into the air. Joshua's hands fly into his backpack, and he pulls out two Paralyz Heals, just in case.

"Michael, can you try and communicate with that Oddish? Tell it we're not here to hurt it, we just want to look around, and collect some gems. You might want to make a Wish, just in case it wants to battle you," Joshua speaks quickly and quietly to his fox companion. Michael shakes his head dramatically, and sighs, before approaching Oddish.

[Ushi No Tane]

Temple Grounds- On the opposite side of the Ruby Mountain from the Village, the Temple stands there as a tribute to the gods who gave the island to the villagers. Every few years the villagers take a journey to the Temple for special prayer and for the Elders to ask for guidance. It was luckyDevon Corp.met the villagers before they went on the journey or they may not have had approved of interaction with Devon Corp. until their next trip to the Temple. But even though their gods have approved of good relations with Devon Corp. and the explorers, the Temple Grounds are too sacred for outsiders and guarded by many of the villagers strongest warriors. Perhaps during the next journey, the gods will allow Devon Corp. to visit the temple site.

"Mmmm. I bet this place has mosquitos.", Kris complained, as she crunched her way across the sands of the beach, the only way bavck to civilization quickly floating away behind her. "I just know I'm going to touch something and go into anaphylactic shock."

Beside her, nails clicking upon the gem-filled soils beneath his feet, Roch rolled his eyes. He never quite understood why his trainer felt the need to be so diffucult. cocking his head, he began to ponder for a moment whether or not he'd have been better of in the AC.

As Roch lost himself in his assessment of Kris' trainer skills, she was busy with nose in a leaflet, skimming over the various attactions of the island.

"Swamp...", Kris mused, lips pursed. "Yeah, like that'll happen. I might as well just walk about asking for Malaria. Screw that. Hell, half this place is a walking excuse to get killed. Frostbite, raging Pokemon, psychotic villiagers-...wait. Did anyone hear me say that?"

Sighing roughly, she finally caved, and (with a little persuasion from Roch's fangs) decided to stop nitpicking. Glancing over, pocketing her reading glasses, she grinned slyly.

"I say we continue the eternal search for knowledge and head to the Temple Grounds. Sounds like a good way to learn about villiage beliefs."

[Manji]

Jade Swamp:

Nathen wasn't exactly sure what made him want to come to this place: it looked distinctly unappealing now that he was actually there. He pulled the collar of his shirt to cover his mouth and nose. He was gagging on the foul smells that seemed to be coming from the rotting greenery and muck that blanketed the ground.

Suddenly, Nathen was struck from behind with a jet of ice-cold water, and spun to see the face of a Poliwag mischeviously taunting him from inside a particularly disgusting-looking hole. Naturally, Bandit found this quite amusing, and laughed as Nathen spluttered in indignation. Seething, Nathen pointed towards the Poliwag.

"Well? Go on then, jump in there after him!" Bandit took one look at the slime-filled hole and shot Nathen a look that was almost as foul as the smell in the swamp.

"Dig down after him, then as you emerge, use Cut! Block any attacks he sends your way with Defense Curl!" Reluctantly but obediently, Bandit leapt up into the air and prepared to make his attacks.

Catherine sighed as she looked down her feet stuck into the ground. She should have known something like that would happen. Catherine then stared at the Surskit not sure what it might do. Joshua who had now awaken was pulling on her T-shirt. Catherine shook her head knowing that the little pokemon wanted to battle the Surskit. Joshua sighed at put his little golden head down and stared at the swamp. Catherine looked at the Surskit again and decided that she might have to battle it even if she did not want to. She nod as she thought over the plan more and then reached for one of her red and white pokeballs on her belt. She pressed the button on it and with a flash a red ladybug like pokemon apeared in the air before. The bug pokemon flew through the air before landing on Catherine's shoulder. Catherine smiled pleased to get to use her Ledian, Ledy again. She motioned for Ledy just to stay where he was and then she turned to the Surskit.

"Surskit, I an so sorry for disturbing your beautiful perfomense but your enlegant movement just attracted me. I wish to bid you no harm and for us to go in are serprate ways. I want no battle just peace," Catherine told the beautiful bug before her.

Catherine sighed thinking that her way of speach there was odd. But that did not matter. All that mattered was that the Surskit trusted her not what it thought of her ways of speach. Catherine then decided to have an emergesy plan just incase the pokemon had other plans.

"Ledy if the Surskit attacks blast it with a Psybeam and then set up your Reflect. Remeber only if it attacks," Catherine whispered into Ledy's ear trying not to make it loud enought for the Surskit to hear.

Catherine and Ledy then both patiently watched the Surskit's decion. Will Josua restlessly moved around in Catherine's arm wanting some action after his nap.

[Shinjara]

After about 5 minutes of feeling very sorry for herself, she stood up and stretched once more before she pondered on whom she would travel with here. A grin spread across her features as she grabbed a pokeball from her belt.. Within seconds in a flash of red light, an Arbok's form appeared on the beach. "Gaidoku.." Kaya began, "This will be the first time we've travelled together, if you know whats good for you, then you'll behave." Gaidoku then hissed and beared his fangs at Kaya.

"So bloody ungrateful.." she whispered. Gaidoku then closed his mouth and held his head downwards. Kaya then grinned, she always knew how to keep her Arbok behaving. She then took out the map and scanned over it, looking for a good destination.. Gaidoku then slithered up behind her and looked down over her shoulder. Kaya then murmured, "Diamond Falls.." and Gaidoku let out a loud hiss of approval. "Well, I guess we're heading there, eh?" Gaidoku nods and then slithers alongside Kaya as the two set off towards the Diamond Falls, watching out for any dangers..

[Torkoal Stu]

Turquoise River:

Torkoal Stu: Having almost lost one of your oldest companions, you decide on a nice place to go where Blackrose would like it. After deciding on the Turquoise river, you set off and go through the forest. You emerge next to the River which looks beautiful; the water shimmers and you see many different fish pokemon swimming in the depths. You then hear a scream coming from the sky. You look up and see a huge Fearow, with a small Goldeen clamped in it’s claws! The Goldeen is screaming in pain, desperate for help. What will you do?

Stuart smilied as he looked cheerfully at the shimmering water peacfully, the sun shiny gently on his skin and the general fish Pokemon swimming around without a care in the world. "Blackrose should love it," Stuart thought as he chucked a red and hite sphere high into the air. Suddenly the top flipped open, releasing a bright white light into the river, after a couple of seconds it began to take form as a long angry looking serpent creature.

He then looked up at his beastly buddy who roared directly down at her trainer. After a couple more moments Stuart looked up to see a small fish Pokemon being held tightly in the claws of a large fierce bird. "What is that thing?" Stuart asked himself trying to speak as quite as he could so he didn't attract much attention. He slipped his hand slowly into his pocket, and began to bring out a small book, which he gripped tightly in his hand. Stuart began to flick through the pages quickly trying to find out about the bird.

"Fearow" The page had writen on it in big black bold font with a picture of the bird next to a paragraph of small text. Stuart closed his eye tight as he sipped the small book back into his pocket and began to listen at the mix of Blackrose's roaring and Goldeen's screaming. Stuart opened his eyes quickly and stared up at the poor Goldeen, he tightened his fists and raised his arm firmly into the air. "Lets do this!"

Blackrose looked down at her trainer one last time and smiled as well as she could. "Blackrose this is your first battle, lets make it rememberable, firstly use Tri Attack, which should hurt the Fearow alot also making it let go of the Goldeen. Then i'll try to catch the Goldeen in my hands, while you use a Dragon Rage attack which will create a twister since we're near water."

Some of you may have heard that the New York area had reports of flooding. Well, my house wasn't flooding, but water was leaking in. Worst part was that it was around the computer and a lot of electrical stuff >.>

Act of God as the government calls it. I would have posted sooner otherwise. Anyway, all those who posted before this post get a free Premiere Ball! (Don't post *snatch Premiere Ball* or anything like that.)

I update these spots: Southern Beach, Devon Settlement, Sapphire Village, Diamond Falls, Temple Ground, Ruby Mountain, and Crystal Peak. Shinjara handles the rest, Okay, let's get this started.

Southern Beach

thed3- As you walk through the beach, the sun shines down upon you. The water is relatively calm and not many waves make much splash on the beach. As you walk across, you soon feel very... alone. Suddenly, a large waves comes and and hits you. You're pushed down onto the soft, fine sand. You shake the water out off and wipe your eyes and see something in front of you! You jump back for a moment at the surprise. You look again and notice it's an unconscious woman, most likely an islander by her exotic clothes and dark tan. She appears to be unconscious. What will you do?

Devon Settlement

MetalGardevoir- [Why didn't you just make an account?] You arrive at the Devon Settlement. There you see many Devon workers constantly working to keep the settlement working as well as helping to expand it. As you walk through the camp, you notice that most trainers aren't interested in battling as much as helping somehow. Many are using their Pokemon to help lift large crates of supplies while others volunteer to help escort scientists around the island. Someone taps you on the shoulder and says, "Hello. You must be one of the trainers Devon brought here. Most trainers that come to the settlement are here to help out, otherwise they'd just run off into the wilderness."

"Ah, youthful recklessness." She gazes at the sky for a moment and then look back towards you and says, "We could use escorts for the scientists. Would you like to help out?"

Sapphire Village

Arc_Angel- You and Lucius run past the Devon Settlement and through the jungle into the Sapphire Village. The village itself is quite beautiful. Even though the buildings are mainly wood and star huts and tents, they have various gems built in, giving them a colorful shine as the sun peaks through the trees. Villagers are walk by, working hard on their daily tasks. Some children walk up to you and take you by the hand smiling, saying words you don't really know, but understand to be "Come on" by the way they gesture. They bring you into an hut lined with Jet black gems and inside looks to be an old man with a heavily feather's outfit sitting in front of a fire. The children push you inside and run off laughing and playing again. The man sits there with sand running down his fingers. Then he blows it into the fire and a large puff of smoke comes out. "Ah, the spirits around you are strong. Such qualities are good for youthful people. I too am strong with the spirits, but my old body... it is not so strong. I have a favor to ask of you. Will you hear it? Or will you walk away?" He awaits your answer.

Diamond Falls

Waterlight & Shinjara- You manage to find yourselves around the Diamond Falls area. The water pours out of Ruby Mountain like an uncontrollable faucet. The roar of water drowns out all other sounds.. all except the roar of a vicious beast! A loud, ear-splitting roar echoes through the area. You both look around and see a Gyarados burst out of the waterfall's source! It looks angry and ready to fight the nearest object... which happens to be the two of you! What will you do?

Ruby Mountain

Solarsaur- [A dialogue is not an RP.] You eventually make your way to the Ruby Mountain. The large towering landmass is only outmatched by the sky. As you begin climbing it, you start to feel gravity at its worst. Almost like its acting against you. You stop for a moment to catch your breath. Suddenly, you hear a cracking sound. Suddenly, the floor gives way and you fall down a pit. You instinctively reach out to grab anything to keep from falling and manage to get your hands around a ledge. It looks like you've fallen down some sort of mining shaft, which is odd as mining of the gems is forbidden by the natives. Trapnich looks down the shaft and calls out to you as you climb back up slowly. As you climb, you begin to have a strange eerie feeling like you're not the only thing in there. Suddenly, Trapnich begins to make frantic noises like something is coming up! Then you begin to hear it rip through the stone walls as it climbs up towards you! It's violent climb shakes the walls, which worsens your grip and prevents your from climbing! What will you do?

Quilava_Plush- You find yourself in a cave of Ruby Moutain. As you step in, you feel a slight rumble and a loud sound from behind. Nothing happens to you, so you keep on travelling into the cave. As hyou walk deeper and deeper into the cave, you notice the absolute silence. The only sounds are the echoes of your footsteps. Suddenly, there's another sound. A large rumble shakes the ground. You look around and don't see anything. It's too far for the light to reach. What will you do?

Crystal Peak

Shiny_Magneton & Wayne- As you climb Ruby Mountain up towards the it's frozen layer, you soon feel the cold air breeze past you. The cold cuts down to the bone and sends shivers down your spine. As you get closer and closer to the top, the air pressure begins to lower as the atmosphere gets thinner. Suddenly, a large gust of wind kicks up the snow and you're bombarded with small bits of ice. A cloud hovers over and the sky is blocked off for a moment. You wipe the snow off our faces just as the cloud blows over. The sunlight returns and suddenly you see something on the ground before. A herd of two dozen sleeping Piloswine. Suddenly, you hear what sounds like bombs falling from the sky! Explosions occur where the Piloswine slept and they begin to panic and run! And they're stampeding towards you! What now?

Temple Grounds

Ushi No Tane- You head towards the Temple Grounds, but as you get close, you see a large wall. You continue to follow the road there and see the gateway in, but it's guarded by several villagers wearing frightening masks.

They say a lot of stuff, but you don't understand what they're saying. Without a translator or learning the language, you won't be able to communicate with them, and they don't seem like they'll be willing to let you go through. What will you do?

Sapphire Island
A newly discovered island east of Mossdeep City. Recently Devon Corp. has begun settlement and exploration of the island as well as starting good relations with the island natives.

Turquoise River- A rapid flowing river that cuts through the middle of the Emerald Jungle. It's floor has large turquoise settlement that is said to keep the water fresh and pure, thus helping Pokemon grow strong. Even simple Magikarp are said to be larger and stronger here then anywhere else.

You've just been dropped off on Sapphire Island Beach. All your necessary belongings are in your backpack. The raft that brought you here is gone. Back to the main ship in the middle of the ocean. There's no turning back- a new world is ready to be explored by you. What will you do?

Centin already checked his backpack and it seems that everything is there. Nothing was missing. He now opens his backpack and takes out an newly purchased map from the main ship. "Oh, so many tempting areas to go. Right Axtan?" His natu was just staring and there's nothing more he could say, he'd rather go to an undisturbed place.

"The linguist center, the wide ocean, the swamp, the temple, the waterfalls. Just one of the many places to find our next companion. Just too many, I can't decide!!", everyone stared at Centin as if he was mad and they just ignored him for a while. "Eh heh, nothing new. Move along people, I'm just over-excited."

Centin wonders around to see which is the nearest. All of them are, and he couldn't decide which one. Guess he was stuck. So he decides to play luck. "Alright Axtan, watch me. I'm gonna release these 2 coins. If any of them are similar, then we will not go there." Alas, after countless releases, the coin showed them they should go to the turqoise river. "Come on Axtan, the coin tells us that our next companion is there. Let's shall." His natu then climbs up to his left shoulder and they continue their journey to the turqoise river.

As Tom stumbled up the path to the falls, he was in awe at the natural beauty of the water cascading down the rocks. He couldn't help but walk with his eyes glued to the spectacle which caused him a few problems; namely falling into the plungepool. As he continued on, he ran into Kaya who was also heading for the Diamond Falls with Gaidoku the Arbok. As they continued on, Tom released Tropius from her Pokéball to come with them and they soon reached the source of the whole waterfall itself.

Accompanying the peaceful sound of running water was a sudden roar which errupted from the source. Tom turned to see a giant sea-serpent like creature towering above them which he recognised as, like Guardian, a Gyarados. He was used to his Gyarados, but it had taken Tom months to adjust to having a giant sea monster as a friend. Tropius galloped infront of Tom as if trying to protect him. Tom stepped backwards in both fear and admiration of the creature in the wild.

"Kaya, I guess we're going to have to battle, eh..." Tom murmered as he prepared to order his tropical dinosaur. "Tropius, use a Sweet Scent to allure Gyarados then when it gets near use Razor Leaf! Finish up by using a Fly attack!"

[Shinjara]

After meeting up with Tom on the way to Diamond Falls, they wandered together until they came up to the Diamond Falls. Kaya stared at the falls in awe, watching the water pour out of the mountain, making a most calming sound. Even Gaidoku, the stern battler was impressed by this. He hissed quietly until the serenity was disturbed by a loud, roar. Kaya covers her ears and flinched as a huge Gyarados appeared out of the waters source. Gaidoku's yes widened at the sight of the water serpent.

Kaya felt a little reassured when she heard Tom's voice; "Kaya, I guess we're going to have to battle, eh..." She nodded hesitantly, intimidated by the huge serpent. But she felt confidence in that her and Tom could work together and battle the Gyarados. Gaidoku then put on his battle face, his large fangs bared, dripping with poison. He slithers up to the water's edge as Kaya stands well back.

"Gaidoku!" she ordered, "When Tropius uses Sweet Scent. I want you to give Gyarados your most fearsome Glare! Then when Gyarados is affected, I want you to launch a barrage of Poison Sting at it's head. Thats all we can manage for now.." Kaya then looked to Tom and smiled confidently as she waited for the 2 pokemon to attack.

After being knocked over by the spontaneously huge wave thed looks around making sure no one saw what happened to him. While scanning the area he sees an unconscious, and very exotic, woman. Thed rationalizes that she is an islander by the dark tan that she has. Quite shocked by this find Thed immediately runs over to the girls side and tries to wake her up.

"Hmm.. maybe I'll have to do CPR..." he says aloud.

Stacey and Lucius were both enjoying their leisurely stroll through the lsuh and vibrant forest, the warm sunshine beathing them in rays of pure gold. Lucius, still high on his sugar rush was happily zipping to and for amongst the trees whislt Stacey smiled pleasantly at his antics. The saw the way off to the Devon Settlement and walked past it, following the directions to Sapphire Village. They soon reach the gorgoeus quaint little village isolated in its little forest protective bubble. The small wood huts were simple but fascinating to behold. Some of the larger huts had precious gems intertwined with the architecture that shone vibrant colours as the sunlight touched them. The villagers go about their business and some children approach the two travellers excitedly. One young boy took Staceys hand and gestured for her to follow. Their language was unlike anything she had ever heard, quite lyrical and softly spoken, it appealed to the young Ghost trainer. Lucius was enjoying the attantion the children were lavishing upon him on their little walk, showing off his attacks for them.
The group soon reached a large hut lined with pure black gems and Stacey is pushed inside to greet the resident there. She had to grab Lucis from the children as they would have happily ran off to play with him. The old man insdie wore an outfit consitting of many feathers, his features weathered and old as he stood next to a roaring fire. He lets some sand run through his fingers before blowing it int the fire, causing smoke to erupt and billow to the celinign fo the hut. Stacey was looking on with intrigue as was her Shuppet, silently willing the man to do it again.
"Ah, the spirits around you are strong. Such qualities are good for youthful people. I too am strong with the spirits, but my old body... it is not so strong. I have a favor to ask of you. Will you hear it? Or will you walk away?" he asks her locking his eyes with hers. Stacey tried to comprehend what the man was saying before replying. She smiled gently at the man, he had been kind enough to show such hospitality, it was only fair to repay the favor.
"Anything I could do to help you sir I gladly would. Please tell me what it is you would like me to do?" she asked him awaiting his reply.

[Sasuke.]

Sasuke looked at his choices. He and Ino had turned right after arriving on the beach, when most of the people had set off in the opposite direction. Now they were all but alone, and had reached a lush, green part of the island, where they had a number of options to chose from. A sparkling lake lay ahead, and in the distance a gushing waterfall spewed from the rocks. A turquoise river flowed rapidly toward the jungle, and to the right was a murky jade swamp. ”Right Ino, which way?” his Whimur bounced up and down, straining to get a better viewpoint. Sasuke bent down and picked her up, perching her precariously on his shoulder. She wrapped her long soft ears round his head for extra stability and looked out over the surroundings. “Mur!” she squarked happily, indicating the jade swamp, much to the disappointment of Sasuke - the other options seemed far more appealing. The hot swamp was covered in a foul looking vapour and the muddy water (if you could call it that) bubbled menacingly. ”You sure you want to go there? I’ll have to carry you all the way,” he coaxed in an attempt to persuade her to change her mind, but Ino was having none of it. She crossed her ears across her chest definatively, ”WHIS. MUR.”
With a reluctant sigh Sasuke walked off toward the Jade Swamp with Ino purring happily on his shoulder.

[ForeverFlygon]

Feera stood on the beach, and looket out to sea. A few birds were flying above him in the cloudless skies, chirping about whatever thay had on mind.
The boy took a few steps out into the water, and threw a pokeball high into the air, and from it was a fish released, a silver colored fish with yellow fins ans small whiskers; a shiny Barboach. It landed in the water with a splash, and resurfaced after a few seconds, chattering away happily, and his trainer smiled at him.
"Yes, we'll be taking a swim. We're heading for the reefs" Feera said as he took off his shirt and stuffed it into his backpack, which he would leave at the beach. He put his pokeballs into the customized belt he had, and teek another few steps out into the ocean.
"You can swim underwater if you'd like to, just alert me when we arrive at the reefs. Then help me Dive down, and take a look at the beauty under water, okay?"
The fish nodded, before swimming out quickly, and then back to Feera at the same speed, happy to be able to swim freely. The bot who stood with water to his waist threw yet another white and red sphere high, which released an bird, an owl actually. The boy called out to his Noctowl:
"Nookie, fly over us and watch out for dangers in the air. Avoid other pokemon of tey look hostile, okay?" Nookie nodded while flapping his wings in mid-air. The boy threw himself into the warm salt water of the ocean, and began swimming out towards the reefs, with his friends flying above him respectively swimming beside him.

[Norkia]

Ruby Mountain

Upon taking hold of the correct Pokéball, Rivka presses the button and releases the tengu, who stands by attentively; he was always unrelenting to take an order and try to carry it out, and looked out for the well-being of the others.

"Use your Flash ability to light up the area around here so we can see what's going on. If something attacks, use Fake Out to startle it." She pauses for a moment to recollect the plan. "If we need to make a break for it, feel free to hop on my shoulder and I'll dash off."

Her heart racing in-between short and startled breaths, Rivka tries her best to be alert of the situation at hand. While she stands still to find out what the commotion is all about, she is ready to run off at any moment.

Lapis Lake:

Joe: Plusle, pretty pissed off, tries to paralyze Lotad with a Thunder Wave, but fails as she is knocked out of the lake by an Astonish attack. She lands on her back as Lotad stays in the water and begins to summon a huge Surf wave! Plusle manages to get up and uses Quick Attack, taking her out of the Surf wave’s path and she smashes into Lotad, knocking the lily pad pokemon back further in the water. Lotad, then begins to growl at Plusle, which in turn will prevent her attacks from causing too much damage. Lotad then summons another Surf as Plusle stands back, looking at you, waiting for your commands. What will you do?

SkepticReptile: After deciding to withdraw Swablu to have a little calm down, you send Treecko to battle Corphish. Corphish, angry after his small bicker, now is even angrier that you returned Swablu and he then begins to start shouting obscenities at Treecko! This Corphish sure has a temper and he then stares right back at Treecko as he is Leered. Corphish is then caught off guard as Treecko begins to pound the crab with his tail! Corphish then uses Harden and his entire body hardens, raising his defense. Treecko, realising that his efforts are futile, then stops and jumps back as Corphish fires a barrage at Bubbles at Treecko, hitting him for average damage and knocking him back slightly. Corphish then uses Harden once again, to reinforce his defences. What will you do?

Ocean & Reefs:

ZoraJolteon: Slowqueen begins to send her psychic message towards Wooper. As you hold your head in pain, Wooper only receives a faint message but gets the idea; attack Pelipper. Wooper’s small body begins to glow with Rock energy as she delivers a hard blow on Pelipper’s huge beak. Pelipper cries out in pain as it drops Wooper towards the sea! You and Slowqueen move towards where Wooper will land.. But 2 Wingull divebomb down and catch Wooper in their claws.. They then lift Wooper back up to Pelipper who looks down at you and frowns.. It then opens it’s beak and an orb of water forms, it then fires a Hydro Pump down towards you and Slowqueen at a fast rate. What will you do?

Thibideau: Holding onto Pandora, a huge bubble surrounds you both as you submerge into the ocean, and head down towards the Reefs. You admire the immense beauty of the reefs, the sun shining through the water and emphasising the colours of the reef. Pandora pulls you deeper into the depths so you can get a closer look at the reefs. Whilst exploring in amongst the reefs, you see a stream of bubbles floating upwards.. As you swim towards them, you are shocked to find that it is a boy, unconscious with a KO’ed Shellder floating next to me. In panic, you look about and spot a school of Lanturn and Chinchou, it seems that they attacked the boy. How will you react?

Forever Flygon: Releasing Nookie to keep an eye on you, you additionally release Mikozou to support you whilst you swim. Nookie swoops above you as you and Mikozou begin to swim out into the Ocean. You look below you and see schools of Remoraid, Magikarp and Chinchou swimming in the depths. After about 30 minutes of swimming with Mikozou, he seems to think that you are above the reefs. Mikozou then begins to dive, a huge bubble surrounds you both as Nookie stays put above the water. You slowly submerge and look about, you pass through a school of Magikarp, they don’t even flinch as the two of you pass through them. You eventually reach the reefs and you admire their beauty. The different colours are emphasised by the sun shining through the water. You both swim inbetween them until you come across a cave.. And a line of Corsola swimming into it. Will you go there, or will you continue exploring the reefs?

Turquoise River:

Torkoal Stu: After looking up Fearow’s statistics, you decide to use Blackrose to teach that huge bird a lesson. Releasing her into the River, her huge form fills most of the river as she looks down at you, happy to be in her first ever battle. You smile back at her, completely oblivious to her quite intimidating form.. After issuing your attacks, Blackrose then looks up at Fearow and then fires a white burst of energy which strikes Fearow’s wing. You see that the wing has blackened, signalling that Fearow has been burned. Due to this Fearow cries out in pain as it begins to lower slightly, it’s wing causing it considerable pain. Goldeen then panics even more as Fearow then uses Façade and dives towards Blackrose, striking her and knocking her back slightly. Blackrose roars in pain as Fearow swoops round and filled with rage, then pecks at Blackrose, who is unable to move due to being pecked at repeatedly; Fury Attack! Fearow still has a tight grip on Goldeen. What will you do?

Ythrelancus: Along with Axtan, you decide to head to the Turquoise River. After a small while of walking, you arrive at river, which feeds the nearby Lapis Lake. You admire the beauty.. Today the sun is shining brightly and the river is lit up with schools of Magikarp swimming along the bottom of the river. You then take a seat on the bank and shield your eyes from the bright sun. Axtan sits by your side and seemingly stares into nothingness. The area is so peaceful, and you slip off to sleep. A few minutes later, you are rudely awoken by a Water Gun to the face! You sit up in a shock and look towards the River. Looking back at you is a Remoraid, who then blasts Axtan with a Water Gun. Looks like it wants a battle.. What will you do?

Emerald Jungle:

P-Arts: After Jiroubi’s little hissy fit, and your casual beating. You decide to watch out for whatever the creature was that attacked Jiroubi. Both of you feel a sense of paranoia.. That someone is watching. You hear a rustling in the trees, and Jiroubi turns and stares at the leaves, trying to Leer whatever it is out. Suddenly, a flash of blue appears next to Jiroubi and smacks him with a flurry of kicks and then disappears again. Jiroubi, even more annoyed by this, uses Rock Tomb and throws rocks all over the area. A yelp is heard as a very hostile looking Nidoran comes out from within the bushes.. She looks at you with an angry twinkle in her eye, her teeth bared and a hiss emitting from her tiny mouth. Jiroubi then charges his fist with fire energy and launches himself towards Nidoran, who merely take the attack, but then counters Jiroubi’s Fury Swipes by firing Poison Stings at his paws, each one piercing his skin. Jiroubi then staggers back, the Poison slowly taking effect. Nidoran growls at you fiercely.. What will you do?

Joshua: Michael runs forwards and stops just short of the Stun Spore and then begins to communicate with the Oddish. Oddish then looks at you and tilts it’s small head and replies “Oddis..h..odd ..odd ish!” Michael then looks at you and motions you to come closer.. You do so and Michael rubs his head on your leg, to show Oddish that you are friends with him, and not controlling him. Oddish then smiles gently and shakes it’s leaves. A single emerald falls on the ground and Michael runs towards it and picks it up and places it on his fur, it shines beautifully. Oddish then runs off down the path and Michael then nods at you and runs off. You chase after him and Oddish and soon find yourself standing in front of hordes of Oddish and Gloom. They look at your wearily and one of Gloom steps forwards and points at you, “Gl-oommmm..” It then looks at the Oddish you just encountered and frowns. It seems that Gloom isn’t happy that you came to their Emerald Jungle sanctuary, and wants you to prove yourself.. By a 1-on-1 battle with this Gloom.. What will you do?

Jade Swamp:

Sasuke-san: With Ino perched on your shoulder, she adamantly decides on your destination to the Jade Swamp. After a short walk, you stand still and take a look around. The ground you stand on is soft and is covered in sinkholes all around the Jade Swamp. The smell is bearable, yet you still feel the urge to cover your nose. It’s quiet, apart from the bubbling of the Swamp. Today, the Swamp’s water levels are slightly elevated, so the swamp water spills over the bank. Trying to think of something to do in this putrid environment, a noise can be heard. You look towards the center of the Swamp, where bubbles are forming.. Slowly a form rises from the murky, thick waters.. A turquoise body.. Covered in swamp water, with huge jaws and teeth..On it’s head is a crown made from rocks and vines.. It then roars it’s most ferocious roar and says “Toto-d-ile, toto?” and looks at you. Seems this Totodile sees herself as “Queen of the Swamp“. After checking you out for some time, you begin to approach her slowly, taking care not to fall into the sinkholes that surround the swamp. Totodile then looks at Ino, and begins to shout at her. Swiftly, Totodile then jumps out of the Swamp and fires a Water Gun at Ino and knocks her off your shoulder. She lands with a splat on the ground as Totodile laughs and jumps into one of the sinkholes. What will you do?

Suicide: As you issue your attacks to Ledian, Whiscash listens intently, whilst keeping an absolute dopey look on his face. Ledian then releases an ear-drum bursting Screech, Whiscash at first, begins to flinch but then lets his body sink into the swamp, significantly lowering the effectiveness of the Screech. Whiscash then re-emerges and fires a Water gun at Ledian who counters with Psybeam, which cancels out Water Gun and hits Whiscash. As Ledian approaches Whiscash to use Mega Punch.. Whiscash extends his whiskers and begin to Tickle Ledian. Ledian bursts out laughing as Whiscash then fires a Water Gun which smacks Ledian in the torso and sends her flying backwards. What will you do?

Manji: Not very impressed by Poliwag’s sneak tactics, you send Bandit after him. Bandit, reluctant at first, gives in and then dives into the ground next to where Poliwag disappeared down the sinkhole.. Bandit tries his best to sense where Poliwag is, but fails as Poliwag emerges in front of you and giggles. Then dives into the hole that Bandit just dug. You hear a lot of pokemon-language obscenities coming from Bandit, and a lot of giggles from Poliwag. Bandit then bursts from the hole, Poliwag ontop of his fist. Poliwag then lands and frowns as Bandit laughs back at Poliwag, who then shoots a barrage of Bubbles at Bandit, knocking him back. Poliwag’s stomach then begins to glow, preparing to put Bandit to sleep with Hypnosis. What will you do?

Latias10: Ledy begins to talk with Surskit, who stops just in front of Ledy. Ledy smiles as Surskit nods and smiles back. Ledy turns to you and gives a Ledian-style thumbs up. Surskit then looks at your bound feet and looks puzzled, then tells Ledy something. Ledy then grins and approaches you, and points at your feet and says, “Le-le-di-an-le-dian” Ledy then grabs your shoulders and tries to pull you out. You try to aid Ledy by tugging your leg.. After a minute of pulling, pop! One of your legs is freed. You ensure that your free foot doesn’t sink as you manage to free the other. Ledy then leads you over to a safe spot of ground for you to stand on. Surskit then comes up to you and smiles, and begins to skate once again.. After a few minutes, the ground begins to rumble. You steady yourself, but Surskit is launched into the air as a huge Swampert bursts out from beneath the swamp. It catches Surskit in it’s hand and looks at you menacingly. . It then fires a Mud Shot right at you! How will you react?

Lapis Lake:

Joe: Plusle, pretty pissed off, tries to paralyze Lotad with a Thunder Wave, but fails as she is knocked out of the lake by an Astonish attack. She lands on her back as Lotad stays in the water and begins to summon a huge Surf wave! Plusle manages to get up and uses Quick Attack, taking her out of the Surf wave’s path and she smashes into Lotad, knocking the lily pad pokemon back further in the water. Lotad, then begins to growl at Plusle, which in turn will prevent her attacks from causing too much damage. Lotad then summons another Surf as Plusle stands back, looking at you, waiting for your commands. What will you do?
Joe watched as the little Lotad summoned a not-so-little Surf. Joe quickly stood to the side, so that he wouldn't get hit by the wave, and then shouted his orders to Plusle.
"Plusle, what you need to do, is use a Quick Attack to get out of the way of the Surf, then get up close the the Lotad and Mega Punch it right in the head! After you've done that, try to paralyse it again with Thunder Wave!" ordered Joe. Plusle turned to him and nodded, with a confident look on her face, before starting to carry out her commands.

Forever Flygon: Releasing Nookie to keep an eye on you, you additionally release Mikozou to support you whilst you swim. Nookie swoops above you as you and Mikozou begin to swim out into the Ocean. You look below you and see schools of Remoraid, Magikarp and Chinchou swimming in the depths. After about 30 minutes of swimming with Mikozou, he seems to think that you are above the reefs. Mikozou then begins to dive, a huge bubble surrounds you both as Nookie stays put above the water. You slowly submerge and look about, you pass through a school of Magikarp, they don’t even flinch as the two of you pass through them. You eventually reach the reefs and you admire their beauty. The different colours are emphasised by the sun shining through the water. You both swim inbetween them until you come across a cave.. And a line of Corsola swimming into it. Will you go there, or will you continue exploring the reefs?
Feera takes a deep breath before putting his special underwater-breathing device on, and dives underwater, and is met by tons of water pokemon, Magikarps, Remoraids, he can't count them all. He swims through a school of Magikarp, and is met by a fascinating sight, the beautiful reef, bathing in sunlight streaming from the surface above.

He and Miko passes pokemon after pokemon, and a group of Corsolas that swims past him in a straight line. He wonders for a second what they're up to, but decides it's none of his business, and continues to swim, looking around interested at the pokemon. He decides to look around some more, before returning to the surface, Nookie wouldn't want to be alone for too long. Besides, swimming ocntanstly wouldn't be good, although Miko could help him a little, he couldn't carry him all the way back ashore.

Joshua smiles at the sight of the beautiful emerald shining on Michael's fur, and for a few moments, is absolutely captivated by the beauty of the gem. Joshua is about to reach out and hug the Oddish, before it turns and runs off the path. Joshua looks at Michael, who indicates that they should follow the Oddish.

After racing through the jungle after Oddish, Joshua comes to a screeching halt before a horde of Oddish and Gloom. His breath catches in his throat, realising the amount of powder attacks he could be swarmed by.

Waiting with baited breath, Joshua watches as of the Gloom steps forward, challenging Joshua to prove himself. The unhappy look the Gloom gave Oddish was enough to Joshua to see that this battle was important.

Joshua slowly sinks to one knee, and bows to the Gloom, and he hears a gasp from Michael. "My apologies for my sudden intrusion into your home. The Oddish that led me here does not deserve the blame for my intrusion. But if you wish for me to prove myself, then I will accept your challenge."

He turns to Michael beside him. "Michael, looks like it's time for your first real battle. Let's start with a Wish, then let's try for an Attract. Then hit Gloom with your Pursuit attack!"

[Dark Magic]

Lapis Lake- The lake which feeds the Turquoise River and Jade Swamp. It itself is fed by the Diamond Waterfalls which spews from the Ruby Mountain. The lake itself is quite large and is the main watering hole for many of the islands wild Pokemon.

I entered the island in wonder and awe. Never having really been on an island it was a pleasurable sight indeed. Getting in a festive mood, I took out a map of the island trying to think of a good place to go. After a bit of thinking it seemed the best option was to head over Lapis Lake. Taking the equipment I recieved, I began walking towards my destination releasing my Marshtomp in the process. As the red light dissapated my marine pokemon squirted a playful Water Gun at me. Laughing I told him we were heading towards an area that was well suited for him. Marshtomp nodded its head in anticipation and excitement, after being subjected to extreme heat in UPN'S Volcanic Mountain zone wanting to forget that grueling battle that took place there. We walked along side by side down the path that lead to the Lake wondering what mysteries and pokemon lay ahead.

SkepticReptile: After deciding to withdraw Swablu to have a little calm down, you send Treecko to battle Corphish. Corphish, angry after his small bicker, now is even angrier that you returned Swablu and he then begins to start shouting obscenities at Treecko! This Corphish sure has a temper and he then stares right back at Treecko as he is Leered. Corphish is then caught off guard as Treecko begins to pound the crab with his tail! Corphish then uses Harden and his entire body hardens, raising his defense. Treecko, realising that his efforts are futile, then stops and jumps back as Corphish fires a barrage at Bubbles at Treecko, hitting him for average damage and knocking him back slightly. Corphish then uses Harden once again, to reinforce his defences. What will you do?

Justin is getting slightly nervous over Kimberly's condition. He issues out some more tactics.

"Kimberly, physical techniues such as pound won't do much anymore. A Corphish's harden is hard to penetrate."

Justin quickly scans Corphish on his pokedex. Apparently, they are weak to special attacks, such as grass types.

"Kimberly, try constant absorbs to regain some health from the nasty bubble attack!

Justin looks at Kimberly anxiously, waiting for her to make her move on Corphish.

Crystal Peak

Shiny_Magneton & Wayne- As you climb Ruby Mountain up towards the it's frozen layer, you soon feel the cold air breeze past you. The cold cuts down to the bone and sends shivers down your spine. As you get closer and closer to the top, the air pressure begins to lower as the atmosphere gets thinner. Suddenly, a large gust of wind kicks up the snow and you're bombarded with small bits of ice. A cloud hovers over and the sky is blocked off for a moment. You wipe the snow off our faces just as the cloud blows over. The sunlight returns and suddenly you see something on the ground before. A herd of two dozen sleeping Piloswine. Suddenly, you hear what sounds like bombs falling from the sky! Explosions occur where the Piloswine slept and they begin to panic and run! And they're stampeding towards you! What now?
Pocketing his new shiny white Premier Ball, Stephen continues climbing up the frozen, rocky surface of Ruby Mountain, trying to reach the peak. A sudden cold breeze of air tells him that he is getting close, as the cold surrounds him, chilling him to the bone. However, a quick gust of wind begins to pick up as he and Wayne reach the top, it picking up small bits of ice which pelt him in the face, causing him to turn his head away. A large cloud settles over the sun, as the area is put into a darkened shadow.

However, the shadow quickly disappears as the cloud is blown away, and Stephen wipes the remaining snow particles from his face. However, in the returned sunlight, Stephen sees a few dozen...rocks lying on the ground before him. He sends out his Swellow to help investigate, who shivers in the cold. Reassuring her, Stephen tells her that she will only be in these conditions for a small time. However, he quickly realizes that these are not rocks, these are magic rocks! He says to Swellow, "Swellow, look! Magic rocks! They breathe!"

Swellow simply glares at him, before he begins to peck at his ear, just hard enough that it hurts, but does not draw blood. Stephen then realzies that these are actually sleeping Piloswine. However, soon after, a few explosions take place in the crowd of sleeping Pokemon, and Stephen gulps in shock. Suddenly, all of the Piloswine awake at once, and begin charging at him and Wayne.

Trusting that Wayne can find his own way of escape, Stephen turns to Swellow, and says in a loud voice in order to speak over the raging Piloswine, "Swellow! Fly me above the herd, and then when they pass go ahead and let me to the ground. We'll then run after them to make sure they don't fall into a trap, or something to that effect."

Turquoise River:

Ythrelancus: Along with Axtan, you decide to head to the Turquoise River. After a small while of walking, you arrive at river, which feeds the nearby Lapis Lake. You admire the beauty.. Today the sun is shining brightly and the river is lit up with schools of Magikarp swimming along the bottom of the river. You then take a seat on the bank and shield your eyes from the bright sun. "All right you, you, you, remoraid." Suddenly Centin remembered something. "Don't remoraids live in the sea rather than the river? Hm, whatever, it might have swam upstream. Axtan, use night shade on it." However, this was highly unusual. Unlike the usual natu that stares at his previous trainer, this time, it went all hoppy, just like Denulge. "Um, what are you doing? Night shade please."

The remoraid is waiting. His natu then used steel wing on it, followed by a flash from its eye. "Hey, Axtan, what's going on. You seem weird." Then Centin judged the situation and probably his natu just wants to be free from commands, since this is its first battle after a long time. "Or, is it?" Centin couldn't help thinking of it as he walked towards his backpack to check some informations in the PokeDex and his draft, and to grab some water to drink, he tripped against some mud and landed on his bag, and out comes a lure ball. Suddenly an idea came into play, "I know what to do with this."

Ocean & Reefs:

Thibideau: Holding onto Pandora, a huge bubble surrounds you both as you submerge into the ocean, and head down towards the Reefs. You admire the immense beauty of the reefs, the sun shining through the water and emphasising the colours of the reef. Pandora pulls you deeper into the depths so you can get a closer look at the reefs. Whilst exploring in amongst the reefs, you see a stream of bubbles floating upwards.. As you swim towards them, you are shocked to find that it is a boy, unconscious with a KO’ed Shellder floating next to me. In panic, you look about and spot a school of Lanturn and Chinchou, it seems that they attacked the boy. How will you react?

The reefs were more beautiful than Aiden had anticipated. With dappled light gleaming through the water surface he tried to take it all in. All the life which surrounded him was astounding. It was strange how one place could be so diverse and breath taking at the same time. The whole thing seemed like a dream of a fantasy vacation of some sort. Pulling down his hood, Aiden took a good look around. It was just one of those moments you had to take it all in. Aiden wasn't going to let the moment pass with out taking a mental picture.

As Pandora began to sink deeper into the water Aiden noticed how happy she was. It was nice to see her come out of her shell a little(No pun intended). Pandora was often reserved and kept to herself. He couldn't beleive how at peace she was here. It had been a long time since she had been in these waters and able to see what all water pokemon should. Free, clear, open water surrounding them from all sides. No pokeballs or trainers, the thoughts often crossed Aiden's mind. Was it wrong of him to train pokemon? After all they weren't meant to be contained and confined. They were meant to be here in the free, clear and open waters, land or sky. But seeing where they were Aiden put the thoughts behind him and continued to take in the sights.

Sinking still deeper into the water something caught Aiden's eye. A steady stream of bubbles was coming from a drop off into the deep ocean. There could've been a thousand reasons for it, yet something didn't seem right as the bubbles were slowly begining to trail off. Pointing the bubbles out to Pandora the two quickly made their way over the drop and saw the source of the bubbles. A young boy and his Shellder were floating in the water having recently been knocked out by a group of Chinchou and Lanturn. The Shellder would've been fine but the boy was probably seconds away from real damage.

Pandora quickly moved over to them and scooped them both into the bubble. As Pandora began to drag the group to the surface Aiden began trying to revive the boy. The Chinchou and Lanturn didn't seem to bother the rescue bubble, so Aiden figured the boy must've attacked them first.

Aiden:"Pandora, get us to the surface. We have to get this kid some fresh air. I'll try getting the water out of his lungs."

As the bubble began to rise Aiden tried despratley to get the boy breathing again or he may end up brining a corpse back to town...

Ledian, obviously ticked off by the squirt of water, let out a loud "Hump!". Suicide had nothing else to do but give her some commands, "Well.. How 'bout we keep our distance from the fish, and fire off some Psybeams, Icy Winds, and use Supersonic when you think it would be best to strike." Ledian gave an okay, then fluttered around, waiting for the perfect time to strike.

[Sasuke.]

As he got nearer the sound of hundreds of buzzing insects grew louder, and Sasuke began to regret following Ino’s advice even more. The smell wafting up from the bubbling, murky, swamp was too putrid for him to breath through his nose, and made him gag when he inhaled through his mouth. He put one arm across his face and found that filtering the air through his sleeve made it slightly more bearable, then continued to walk further into the swamp with Ino still perched on his shoulder happily. The water levels seemed to be higher then usual and the thick slime lapped repeatedly over the edge of the bank before slowly retreating back into the gloom.
“Mur?” came a gentle purr from up on his shoulder, causing Sasuke to look in the direction his Whismur was indicating, out towards the centre of a large sinkhole on their left. A line of small bubbles were rising to the surface, snaking their way slowly towards them in a trail. A turquoise nose was soon visible protruding above the surface, followed by a long thin snout surfacing from the murky depths. Ino squeaked anxiously a Totodile rose up out of the swamp, larger then normal, covered in slimy swamp water, and with bits of bedraggled plants hanging from it’s body. A makeshift circlet of rocks wrapped in vines was perched on it’s head, which shook as it opened it’s mouth and roared deafeningly at Sasuke who took a step forward unwaveringly. The reason he hadn’t refused outright to travel to this dank place was that he thought there might be a chance of encountering a Totodile. The one standing infront of him didn’t react kindly to this show of bravery and leapt out of the swamp, firing a Water Gun at Ino which hit her square in the face, sending her spiralling off Sasuke’s shoulder and landing painfully on the floor. The Totodile laughed and dived back into one of the sinkholes as Ino started to cry. Sasuke bent down to pick up his Whismur who’s right fist was glowing white, and was struggling to get at her assailant. “No, Ino. You can’t go in there you’re too small” Sasuke protested, and grabbed her firmly by the waist. He held her in his arms until her wailing had become a gentle sob, then wiped a tear from her cheek and cradled her softly in his left arm. With his right hand he snatched a pokeball from his belt and whipped it into the air.
Sarutobi, his Shiftry, was left standing on the bank, looking around at his surroundings, he seemed quite at home. “Ok Saru?” Sasuke began, and “Daatingu” his Shiftry replied sagaciously, “If that Totodile comes back attack her before she has a chance with Fake Out, then Leech Seed her as quick as you can.” Sarutobi nodded his large head and turned to face the bog. He wafted the murky fog out of his face with his huge leaves, clearing a path so he could see better, and waited.
“One more thing,” Sasuke warned, “if you need to go into the swamp and start to sink just spread your arms,” then placed Ino back on his shoulder who had recovered from her shock. This time she edged nervously around the back of Sasuke’s neck and peered out around the side, wary of being knocked from her perch again, and watched as Saru scanned the swamp intently.
