I had an idea that Domino was part of an experiment similar to the Dolls from Street Fighter.
I'll never write it, so anyone's welcome to it.

He stood listening to the winds and their music. he listened but didn't comprehend. His leg drummed on the carpet making it impossible for him to properly pack his cigarettes. Every few rat-a-tat-tat slap of his cigarette pack on his palm, he'd stop in mid-packing and look around in the airport trying to figure out where she was. There was definitely that sense of paranoia about him.

Gah, that's as much of a character I've written for in the last two months. It's sad.

A fanfic based on the rantings of the irreverent and occasionally unintelligable Endgame.
Tyger, that description reminds me of Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop.

Does he die at the end?
But didn't Endgame have a small part in Destiny Deoxys? That fat guy with the Blastoise?

Different Endgame, a user on various message boards. His theory/rants include, among other things, Misty is an evil whore and Roxanne is the ultimate evil, with various super robots in the basement of Rustboro Gym. Also, Giselle is some kind of chosen one.

I know who you're referring to. Endgame isn't uncommon. He's the same May fanboy we've all been harassed by.
Hence why I said he was animated in Destiny Deoxys...

In the darkest future ever, in an AU High School, popular street racer Ash Ketchum meets an unpopular girl bound by the evil laws to live a crappy life. WILL LOVE BLOOM?
This, which would possibly be a crossover with Inuyasha because that fandom has so many standards, could be the greatest parody of "altered" fanfics ever. But I don't think I can do it. Would take too much research into said genres.

If anyone's familiar with the "Love Is Such Bitter Sorrow" story I worked on and abandoned several times a few years ago, I was always looking for people who might be able to help me finish it off. The basic premise was (splitting off from canon at the end of Johto), Misty losing it after Togepi suddenly dying of unexplained causes, with the story focusing first on Ash as he takes it on himself to help her recover, then on Misty as she really loses it following a further tragedy.
The story had some loose inspiration from the film Mommie Dearest (http://www.dollsoup.co.uk/mommie.htm), in how each chapter was basically just one dramatic event in the story, so that the story was somewhat disjointed rather than fully connected and continuous. I imagined Misty being "Wire Coathangers!" level batshit insane during most of the 2nd half.
I know, it's a fucked up story idea, but still....^^;

Ace Sanchez has long since stopped writing Pokémon fics, if indeed he hasn't just vanished totally off the face of the planet. He left a lot of unfinished fics (Though he did at least finish Pokémon Master, the original Pokémon darkfic), some of which had some decent ideas for plots that deserve to be continued or reworked. They're all fairly short fics, so I'll just link to them instead of explaining their plots.

I've got this annoying plot bunny about Gary going out to go find out what the heck attacked him at the Viridian Gym. This is assuming that he was untouched by Mewtwo's uber-mind wipe thingy. If it missed Gio before MR, it may well have missed Gary, too!
I was originally planning to tie this in with Numero Dos (my only story on here), but I'm willing to give this plot bunny up. It'd be interesting to see what someone else does with it!

Original character (actually the heroine of a made-up comic book in the pokemon world):
Name: Indigo Steele
Age: ???
Gender: Female
Apperance: Amazon-type figure. Long hair held up in an elaborate style consisting of lots of braids. A Western-style dark superheroine-type outfit, but not too skimpy.
Personality: Tough, angsty, no-nonsense, but secretly compassionate and has a strong sense of justice. Has had many boyfriends; none of her relationships have made it past a few weeks. Men consider her cold and not femenine enough, though her best friend is a geeky male sidekick who helps her with her health problems that relate to her powers. A wanderer, also a bit of a cynic.
History: An accident gave her the abilities of a steel-type pokemon, but it also killed her beloved Skarmory and turned its body into a sword. Like most cliche dark superheroines, she goes around fighting crimes.

So I've been toying with this original story idea.
The chapters alternate between the journal of the protagonist as an old man, his everyday life outside by the forest struggling, and his life as a farmer when he was 25 with a family. The setting's going to be 1935 india, and India in 1986.
I just haven't had the time to write about it. It's kinda based around my grandfather's life. So I need to actually write it one of these days.
I've debated writing about my uncle, who was diagnosed schizophrenic when he was in his 40s.
In case I didn't mention this, any post of mine from the Line Inspiration thread is up for grabs. If you can make a fic out of it, be my guest.

For those that bother to read Bloody Sword: 3050 A.D. (It's that fic floating around the top with 20 replies and 200 views ), you'd know that the backstory is that the world went to hell with a global nuclear war 50 years ago. So in my continuing efforts to tie all of my original fics into each other, I'm thinking of writing a fic dubbed "World War 3000," about, well, humanity destroying itself and pretty much the whole world. Like what happened in Planet of the Apes, only no monkeys.

Yup, that was me. Why so surprised?
Another idea. Or more like a twist on an old one.
There have been many fics in many fandoms with the main characters discovering fanfiction written about them online. Usually, some sort of weird dimensional warp explanation is pulled out to explain the situation. But instead....how about this?
In the real world, there are fanfiction written about *real people* all the time. They've since been banned on fanfiction.net, but you used to be able to read a wide variety of fanfiction about various celebrities (as themselves, not the characters they might play). Well...in the Pokémo world, wouldn't you say that these three would be at least minor celebrities? I mean, Ash did only place highly in several major tournaments, including a victory in the Orange League, and his companions were only Gym Leaders with apparent reputations of their own.
So....instead of the usual finding fanfiction gag....how about they find their own (existing in their world, not ours) fanclubs online, including all the lurid speculation, fanfiction, fanart, and everything else that you find in such highly obsessed groups?

Well been awhile
I've been tryin to write a schizophrenic character ( I blame Barb's plot bunny) but the problem is getting the schizoid-typal nature to connect past chapters and past pages. The disjointed nature gives it an interesting feel, but I think I"ll have to either have them all speak in one dialect, or figure out a way to give it credibility. I can give it credibility, but I don't think I"d be happy.
The thing I remember most about my uncle is how disjointed he seemed at times. Some days, he was perfectly lucid and could discuss any number of subjects. Other day, nothing he said made sense, if he even talked at all. And he did claim to hear voices, although he never said what the voices told him.

I hate that I need help, but a passage in a story has got me stumped. I wrote this scene once, but the story got deleted when I was forced to reset my harddrive. I've been forcing myself to write this story, and FINALLY get it out of me (I've been mulling pver the general idea for the better part of AT LEAST 2 years).
I need the next sentence...that's it. Or some inspiration for it. I just can't get anything out that doesn't sound...stupid. Or dull. Or repetitive.
I'll just include the part that sets up the sentence, because I have a phobia about revealing a story before it's done. Even this is weird for me, but I'm backed into a corner. So any help will be GREATLY appreciated.
Set up:
That is why, as these titans fought tooth and nail in that New Mexico desert…a missile silo slid slowly open, exposing the missile within to the first sunlight it had seen in a very long time. Safeties were disengaged, keys turned…and as it slid out into the hot desert air, it froze as, one by one, the final steps were completed. As the missile lifted into the sky, the winds seemed to grow calm in response…sensing what was to come.
And in case you can't tell, it IS a nuke. And I just need a sentence that gets it there. Or some reasoning that allows me to skip it. As is I feel like the paragraph's too poetic and drawn out, but it's a fairly important moment that helps set up the main part of the story. I'm completely stumped.
The missile streaked into the cloudless sky and the titans, one by one, slowly turned their attention to this new challenger.
[Yeah, it's late and I'm tired. Does that help at all?]

That's perfect. It follows the line that I was trying to develop that had it cutting or diving or something like that through the sky. It was always the second half of the sentence that stumped me. My mind just kept going blank.
Thank you so much for destroying the evil mental block that crippled me for almost a week. Now I can stop staring at the page and continue writing. Again, thank you.

I've created an entire alternate Pokemon universe which will serve as the framework for many one-shots and chaptered fics. I think I'll start by trying my hand at a couple of one-shots before I actually attempt my trilogy. Anyway, a strange idea I've had for a while could figure in.
A lone figure strides rapidly through narrow cobbled streets, every once in a while looking around frantically. Finally, they enter a cafe, and sit down at a table with a short, dark haired girl. They exchange a few words, but then the girl sees something, and darts out of the cafe covering her face. The other runs across the street into an old abandoned apartment, runs up to the roof, and locks the door. Below, several men have congregated, intent on catching them. Suddenly, without warning, a silver bird alights from the rooftops, flying off into the resplendant sunset as the fog sets in upon Slateport.

Why not do it yourself? You were the one who had the dream.
Okay, my turn to talk about a new idea.
I've been thinking about this lately, but so far I don't have much.
The basic plot is about these kids ending up traveling back and forth to the real world to some imaginary world (where pratically almost anything can happen). They end up being involved in some game that was supposed to be gotten rid of a long time ago.
As for the characters, I do have the main protagonists setup a bit. I'll go more into depth about them later.
Lyoko - Flying-type Trainer. Daughter of Winona.
Heather - Snobby, rich, and popular Grass-type Coordinator.
Myco - Shy girl. Trains Electric-types. Good with music.
Ariel - Likes to make wisecracks. Dragon team (half of them are actual Dragon-type. I went with the breeding group on this one, so the types are somewhat mixed).
Megan - Brainy, takes things too seriously. She and Ariel (her sister) don't get along too well. Ice-type Trainer.
Blossom - Sweetheart. Lyoko's best friend. Bug-type Trainer.
Purika - Tomboyish Fire-type Trainer.
Bansy - One of the cheerleaders. Pretty loud and VERY hyper. Obviously tends to get on other's nerves. Ghost-type trainer.
Some things may change.
Other than that, if you like randomness, a bit of comedy, and a handful of anime references, then I'm hoping you like this fic.
Anyway, comments are welcome.

I'm digging up a project I started a couple of years ago at this point I called "The Quantum Wars".
Basically, Poke Balls are powered by Quantinium99, a mysterious element that has the power to bend time and space. And Pokemon for some reason are able to survive and even thrive in space folds (which is why they can be contained in Poke Balls). However, this element is so different from the all the others, some theorize it was created by and then seeded onto the earth by an advanced alien civilization.
None of this matters to the new Celadon Gym Leader Erika. She has battling and taking care of the gym's garden to take up her time. However, when she starts seeing ghostly figures and hearing sounds that aren't there, she soon finds herself getting up close and personal to the true power of Quantinium. She finds herself in a strange world where Celadon is in ruins and the planet is dominated by two Hyper Powers at war for the rare element. Can she return home or will she be trapped in this war torn world.

Some stuff on my fic in planning for those who are interested.
I had an idea where this guy is sent falsley to a prison, but right before he's taken away, an old man gives him a rainbow-coloured pokeball and warns him to only open it in his time of need. The man is sent to prison, and the inmates there beat him up. His Pokemon are always creamed by their Pokemon, but they never use their pokemon on him. He resists the urge to open the Pokeball, even when he's seriously injured. Finally, three of the inmates attempt to kill him viciously with a Tyranitar, a Salamance, and a Metagross. His Pokemon try to defend, but this time they die. Just as he's about to get killed himself, he opens the rainbow Pokeball. Ho-oh's inside, and it rescues the guy, brings his Pokemon back to life with Sacred Fire, and burns the whole prison with everyone inside and the guy is saved. Ho-oh then tells him that he is one of the few who will get to go to the "great beyond", and he suddenly finds himself like an old man. In fact, he looks just like the guy who gave him the pokeball, and he starts the cycle over again.
I was thinking of making this into a one-shot, what do you all think of the plot?

I had a weird dream last night that's inspired me to write a fanfiction. In the dream, Team Rocket disbanded for some reason, but everyone was out to get the Rockets. I ended up hiding in Professor Nanba's house. XD The dream was really stupid, but I think the fanfic will be really good.
An Anti-Rocket phenomenon has swept over the Kanto and Johto regions. The police and even the civilians of the pokemon world are out to get anyone associated with Team Rocket. Giovanni is nowhere to be found, and the Rockets themselves are on the run in fear of being incarcerated, or worse. Many former agents flee to the Hoenn region and attempt to start over, but a group of those who refuse to run like animals stay behind.
" We could revive Team Rocket..."
I've been working on it for most of this morning, and I'll see what I can do with this idea. It has good potential. *shrug* I'm planning on using Butch and Cassidy, Bashou and Buson, Mondo, and perhaps an original character or two, with a few other Rockets we've seen from the show appearing here and there. Any ideas you guys have would be carefully considered and greatly appreciated. ^_^

I've got a bizarre idea for an anime-based fic. It would be set 11 years after the present story in the anime. Yes, it would center upon Ash.
But this would not be any ordinary fic. It would not play with my favorite ships, or go OOC. It would show an Ash matured by events nobody should ever have to endure. It begins with Ash going through the day-to-day grind of his dead-end job at a hardware store. He used to be someone. A well-known, skilled battler. But without companions to rely on, he began to wander aimlessly, until he lost sight of what he had desired his entire life. He quit being a trainer, and got a job and an apartment. He dated several times, but it never seemed to work out. Now 26, he lives in the past, wondering abolut what might have been, his life in shambles. But then he gets a rude awakening. Prof. Oak, his mentor, the man who gave him his first Pokemon, has been brutally murdered. And Ash is a suspect. He goes to clear his name, and discovers that this was no random act of violence. It was aimed at getting his attention. And they have succeeded. Angry, he vows to find the murderer, who was audacious enough to leave a note taunting Ash. Figuring that the murderer is someone that knew him, he embarks on a journey through his memories. He retraces all the places he went in his travels, not only to search for the murderer, but also to do some soul-searching, and perhaps rekindle the ambition he lost.
Sound interesting? It would be difficult feat to accomplish, but it could be done. Though I'm not sure I could be the one to do it. I'd love it if someone else took the idea, and ran with. Anyone has my permission.

I'm thinking about a sort of Tarzan-esque idea. A Kanghaskan's baby is stolen by poachers, so she catches up and kills them. Too late, she finds her baby is also dead. In the grass nearby, she finds the baby of the humans. I'm thinking about doing this in a two-voice poem format, with each describing the pain they have at losing their family, but also as they sort of form a new relationship together, forming a mother-child bond.
what does everyone think?

I thought for a while of writing Smash Brothers stories in a different style than most. Rather than messing around with universe-skewing magics and so forth, I figured I would write it more in the style of a comic book "super-team" adventure. The stories would of course have to feature some sorts of desperate threats, but the conceit would be that all of the various characters lived in the same universe and always had.
The first story would feature two of the great icons of the Pokemon series, namely Giovanni and Mewtwo. In a fairly standard opening, Giovanni creates a veritable army of Mewtwo clones with far lesser intelligence than the original - creatures who, like the Mewtwo described in the Red/Blue Pokedex, can think of little more than pure destruction. This serves as the "secret origin" of the team, as it were, and in later stories other threats could appear. A long-term mystery would also be introduced at the very end as Captain Falcon (not likely referred to by name, of course) enters and takes in Gio on a "dead-or-alive" bounty. Who put it out?
Not every character would be introduced at the beginning, but I was playing around with which characters would start out. I definitely would want to use Jigglypuff in comic relief a couple of times - she'd do mostly what she does in the anime. I haven't figured out quite what to do with Samus, given that she hails from a rather distant future, and while I can play with time-travel for Link, I can't think of much to do with either her or any supporting cast from the series. I also wonder what the hell to do with the Mario cast, as what can you really do with them? I do want to use the Koopa Kids, since nobody else ever does.

Story idea, up for grabs!
After learning about the Burakumin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burakumin) in Japan, I thought of an idea concerning discrimination. Okay, so Lance belongs to a dragonrider's clan/society, but it isn't just a clan but also a race. So there are certain members of this clan/race that are undesirable and thought of lowly. Technically they're part of the dragonrider's society, but they aren't allowed to own any dragon pokemon. So I was thinking, maybe there's this girl belongs to this low class, but somehow she got her hands on a dragon pokemon anyway and proved herself to the rest of the world that she kicks ass...but of course she's still not welcome at home. So Lance, who is against of the discrimination, befriends her but people don't like this obviously because Lance is like an equivalent to a prince in the dragonrider's society (his grandfather being the leader of the clan) and people think he shouldn't associate with her kind.
Okay, so it's pretty cliche, but I'm sure a good writer could pull it off.

Well, I've been thinking of getting back into the fan fic business after HMW's sudden death (if you haven't read it, don't worry, 'cause it's not much. Well, compared to what I'm about to mention). While I'm mainly sticking with one, I have thought of some others.
Idea 1: Team Muyo: Sextet of Miracles
My current project that I've mentioned a few posts back (http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/showpost.php?p=250567&postcount=51). I've already got a decent amount of the story planned out (although I'm making changes here and there) and I'm already working on a pilot episode before I work on the actual first episode. Yeah, I know it's a dumb move, but one of my recent favorite animes (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) pretty much gave me the idea for it.
The plot goes like this: Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles "Tails" Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, Amy Rose, Draco-Centaur, and Raichu the Mouse have been faced with an awesome goal: destroy the evil force known as Chirubi. With the help of Calumon, they must seek the twelve Light Prisms to unite their new and startling powers with Calumon's Angel Stone and gain the strength needed to confront Chirubi.
Yes, it'll be quite a crossover, and I'll doubt you'll be familar with some of the fandoms I'll be using (so I'll be nice and give you a chance to catch up on a (http://hg101.classicgaming.gamespy.com/twinklestar/twinklestar.htm) couple (http://hg101.classicgaming.gamespy.com/puyo/puyopuyo.htm)), so I wouldn't be surprised if you're not exactly looking forward to it. However, I'm more or less the most motivated on this (even though I need to get back to work on writing the pilot ep), so don't blame me for at least expecting a cult following on this. :p
Finally, expect a LOT of weird and wacky stuff to happen in TM.
If you want more info on TM, go here (http://lil-ida.livejournal.com/tag/team+muyo).
Idea 2: Kakkowarui Society I, II, III
This is an idea I've been having kinda around the same time I began working on Team Muyo. It's kinda like TM, except this will be a lot shorter and it won't be as big as a crossover as TM. In fact, so far, there are characters from four fandoms compared to Team Muyo's... well, I never really counted how many fandoms TM would end up using, but it's a much higher number. Anyway, the series revolves around a rabbit named Swift (who is five in I and fifteen in II and III). For the plot, part I has him on vacation with his family which was ruined due to several natural disasters caused by evil monsters from another world; part II has him with a couple of other characters as fugitives due to some confusion about him and the monsters from part I; and part III takes place right after with some weird things happening around the same time Raffine and Biyomon show their faces in the series. If I get in the mood, there MAY be a fourth installment, but I'll be sticking with three.
So, yeah. I really can't expect a lot of readers with these ideas, but I want to stick with these. However, I don't mind comments or suggestions if you have 'em.

I know this thread is old, but I haven't seen any rule that says we can't post in a dead sticky thread. I've just really been having trouble with starting one of my most absurd ideas ever. It concerns the legends of Sinnoh, mainly Giratina and what it did to be labeled the Renegade Pokémon.
Basically, one day Giratina became curious about humans, having never been allowed to leave Turnback Cave, as its job was to make sure the void to the World on the Reverse Side of Ours was never tampered with. Eventually Palkia came by, and Giratina asked Palkia to transform it into a human. Palkia is the manipulator of space, after all, and I see that to mean every sense of the phrase. After the spatial warping was finished Giratina rejected his duty and lived among the humans for a couple years. Unfortunately that is considered treason to Arceus, but after two years Giratina said it would rather die than give up its humanity, hence why Giratina is called the Renegade Pokémon.
Giratina's act is considered treason because the abilities, such as time-warping or memory-wiping/giving, of Arceus's prime creations (Dialga, Palkia, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf) are not meant to be known by man because, in realizing that the accepted happenings of life (emotions, memory, aging, etc.) were via the doing of living creatures, human nature would take some disturbing turns.
It is likely that there will be a trial of sorts. I already know the ending, but not how to get there. So if you guys could give me any suggestions or ask me questions for clarification that would be great. It could be just because of the 90 degree heat that's making my creativity funky.

I'm writing a poke/advanceshipping story adventure, I've never ever read books but recently fallen inlove with reading fanfics, drawing inspiration from PaulXion's Pokemon:The Final Journey (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3356600/1/Pokemon_The_Final_Journey) and Hakjin's Love Is Cofusing (A serious must read for ANY Pokeshipper) (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2160315/1/Love_Is_Confusing) It follows Ash, Misty, Brock, May and Max on a journey through Kanto, Ash and Misty get into 'some bother *wink wink' and won't admit their feelings blah blah... I'm not done yet, got no idea where I'm going with it, but I've written 32 pages so far so I'm not giving up now!

I've come up with quite a few ideas for Pokemon-based doujinshi over the years. Some of them I've stuck with, and will hopefully continue sticking with as I've gotten quite a ways into planning them out... a few others, however, haven't had much of anything planned out past the basic concepts. I could deem them canceled at this point, so anyone's free to take them. Here's one for now. I'll post a second canceled idea of mine later (two might've been all I had, but I forget).
I considered what Pocket Monsters would be like if it used a similar concept to Digimon Tamers: the real world is featured, right down to Pokemon being a popular media franchise, up until the monsters from said franchise start to manifest themselves into reality. Of course, Pokemon aren't like Digimon in the sense that they're living data that exists within networks, so a different approach would have to be used for the alternate worlds. In this story, I made it so that dimension-crossing is possible when an object represents one alternate world in the closest possible fashion, namely the data to a virtual game world. Pokemon are actually evil, territorial creatures that've been trying to claim another dimension for years. Psychic-type Pokemon, namely Mewtwo, act as their gang leaders because they were both able to confirm the existence of another world, as well as used their powers to slowly access the world. It all began several decades ago, when the psychic-types saw potential in our world's early development of computers, which could help form the perfect gate. They manipulated Satoshi Tajiri since his childhood (as well as others, like artist Ken Sugimori) in order to help create this gate.
Anyway, shortly after the perfected, supposedly final version of the Pocket Monsters video game (it would be a compilation game featuring all the regions and all Pokemon available up to the current generation... or, something new entirely if you wanna try making your own Pokemon, but that's something I'm personally against doing in my works) had just released, there had been reports of an amazing phenomena: upon encountering wild Koiking (Magikarp), players' DSes (or whatever made-up future portable) began to glow and open a portal that would release the Pokemon. People didn't make much of it at the time, and even allowed the Koiking to be introduced into the environment (they're not much of a threat to humans, though their occasional Tackle can hurt). However, over time, more Pokemon started to get through the gate, like early game bugs, birds, and rodents (the mechanics to the gate are similar to Yu Yu Hakusho: only weak monsters can get through at first, but over time, stronger monsters will start to appear as the gate widens).
The story takes place in some undecided district of Japan (more than likely Tokyo), not long after the Koiking started appearing (it's still being mentioned in the news, apparently). The protagonist, a teen-age boy, has sorta been out of the franchise since his childhood, with the original Red/Green games.... however, after much prompting from his friends (as well as an increased interest after the Koiking started appearing), he decided to get back into it with the new version. Upon starting his game, however, his DS also began to glow. Expecting another Koiking to appear, he instead got a distress message from Professor Ookido about the situation of Pokemon trying to break into their world (though, he might not explain all of it at first). After several attempts, humans finally managed to reach out to this dimension themselves, though only through a communication and transfer system. The truth is that Pokemon, being the terrorizing beings that they are, are usually hunted down by Trainers and brain-washed with the Monster Ball technology. Since Pokemon started appearing in our world, Ookido is concerned over the lack of Trainers, which is why he managed to establish a transfer system which reached out to a random DS. Because of the difficult of establishing this transfer system, Ookido has to ensure a trainer status to a single person for the time being, and thankfully, the protagonist accepts.
The trainer receives some Monster Balls (and maybe a Pokemon-tracking device), and before long, he captures a Poppo (Pidgey) without even having to weaken it. He's very fond of the Poppo because it reminds him of the very first Pokemon he caught way back in the day, which ended being on his main team (and likewise, in the story, it would've been his main Pokemon and eventually evolve into a Pigeot, which he would fly around the city). For some reason, I considered using some secret identity motif and have him treating this a bit lightly and overdramatize himself as a hero, sorta like The Great Saiyaman... but there would be a few problems to this (namely why couldn't Ookido have him inform his friends and have Monster Balls widely distributed? And why keep it a secret? In any case, I guess I liked the idea of Trainers being scarce).... I might've also made the transfer system one-way only for a while, giving the protagonist problems in early chapters when he has to find a place to store all his excess Monster Balls.
I had a few vague plots in mind as well... later story arcs would involve him running into other people who managed to be Trainers, some of which were evil (or environmentalists) and worked towards the Pokemon's cause (this story does seem like one of those "chosen warriors" type scenarios, but I always find it a bit cheesey when they're all inherently on one side and never have any conflict, if not being outright antagonists). The main character talking with Satoshi Tajiri about the situation would've definitely been used at some point, and an even later arc would've involved the trainers going into the Pokemon world (or perhaps the humans from the Pokemon world finally create a gate wide enough to get themselves through... or maybe both could occur, I don't know). The first chapter would've probably involved the hero (who already has his Poppo... his afforementioned background could be done with a flashback to allow the first chapter to get right into things) going to an apartment building that became overrun with bug Pokemon, which is probably the first reported situation of the Pokemon becoming an actual threat (Habunake might like this since he could involve Korobooshi, maybe turn one of his captures into a main team member). The first real difficult battle for the protagonist would come when one of the Koiking evolved into a Gyarados. I also had in mind for a hacker to get several Mew on his game only to end up releasing all of them into the real world later on (but then, if the latest games are supposed to be a perfect representation of the Pokemon world, why is Mew still unobtainable through normal methods? And why would there be more than one legendary in the other dimension? As you can see, I left a number of holes in these ideas ^^'... though, I kinda like the idea of legendaries NOT seeming like they're one-of-a-kind for once, which is probably why I considered it in the first place).
I think that's about all I had... with that, feel free to use any, if not all, of these concepts. Be sure to PM me if you do post it... though I don't usually read other people's fics, I might be interested simply because I came up with the concept.

I had an idea of a parody of Charles Dickin's A Christmas Carol as a 1 time fic for Christmas. Cyrus would be scruge and the Lake trio would be the Ghosts of Xmas past, future and presant.
It would take place the Christmas after Galactic fell apart.

Hi I am ttyo888, a new member to your wonderful forum.
I had this idea of making a Pokemon Movie but this is not the novel adaptation of Pokemon the First Movie but rather an alternative universe of the anime. I was on the idea that what if they made an action life Pokemon Movie something like what the 2007 Transformer Movie. That means it's inspired by the anime but a whole new universe together.
My idea was inspired by the environmental issues of today's Earth and the aftermath. Day after Tommorow was a further inspiration.
A spoiler for you guys to help me
"It is the year 2050, due to pollution and carbon emissions by humans, Earth was sent into an Age of Climatic Chaos causing a premature ice age. Mankind struggled between the status of being endangered and extinct. And then a century later in the year 2150, the climatic chaos ended but the damage was irreversible. 95% of the flora and fauna have gone extinct."
Now the BIG problem was that whether a young Samuel Oak or a Alternative Universe Ash Ketchum should be the main character since in this universe Pokemon were like just "introduced" and people had no idea that they exist. Wild Pokemon encounters were not too friendly like in the games and there is a bit of blood involved. And there was no such thing as Pokemon Training. The Main character however will change things.
And on the setting of the world; most of the people at that time only knew domesticated animals and there were no such things as zoos since 95% of the animal species went extinct in the last ice age. I bet my two buck that if you were to ask the people in this universe "What is a Tiger?" They will be have big question mark hovering over their heads.
But I need opinions of this idea and also feedback on some of the things.

Well it sounds like it would probably be pretty good. If so many animals are gone people might try to catch and eat the Pokemon though. I would just switch between Ash and Oak's viewpoints and make them both main characters.

Well the Pokemon World in my case, some animals did survive but mostly those that did are at the bottom of the food chain. Some of the good-willed scientists dutifilly resurrected the true animals. But animals are weaker than Pokemon some animals get outcompeted by their Genetically Enhanced counterparts.
Well the story goes when scientists found an abandoned lab from former times that contained the DNA of every animals and plant that lived prior to the New Ice Age.
The scientists who found it ,Rowan, Oak and Birch are actually working for a global govt called the Earth Federation. But Oak quit cause he is against the Fed's idea of making creatures that can survive another Ice Age.
Then as the Fed's ambition continued unchecked, so Pokemon being well designed to replace the animals so you can guess the result.

I have this idea I really want to do, but I'm not sure how to continue it past this:
Ash and co. (not sure who, probably Brock and Dawn) are travelling through Sinnoh. Ash has earned all 8 badges, but the Sinnoh League doesn't begin for a while, so he and Brock have been going around with Dawn (or May, possibly) to her contests. The problem is, she's become a complete failure at them, but she doesn't want to admit it and keeps on trying. While on the road, and just as they're considering camping out in the middle of nowhere, they come upon a house that looks like it's fashoned after a ranch. All kinds of pokemon are out in the fenced-in field, as well as a woman who's maybe in her early twenties. Ash and co. ask to stay the night -- the woman's got a bit of an attitude problem, but agrees to let them stay.
Well, May (looking more and more like I want it to be her) notices that, of all the woman's pokemon, there are very few species of Hoenn pokemon, and those species that are there are also common in Sinnoh. It turns out that the woman used to be a Champion level trainer, but she never went to the Hoenn region because her boyfriend somehow died while travelling there a few years back. Since then, she's given up being a trainer, but can't bear to release her pokemon, so they all live outside of their pokeballs with her on the ranch.
I want her and either May or Dawn (whoever it ends up being) to sort of help each other out -- one with her contests, the other with her grief and being a trainer again. It won't really be an Ash-centered story, unless I end up shipping (which, given my relative newness back into pokemon fics, probably won't happen), and even then, the focus will be mostly on the woman and Ash's travelling companion.
Anyone have any ideas on how to link it all up? Or, if someone wants, they can let me know and write it themselves. I only accept PMs from people on my buddy list, though, so it'll have to be here because I'm internet paraniod about stuff like that.

I've always wondered about the history of the Pokemon world, and by that I mean political and cultural history. I mean, what kind of Pokeballs did they use in the Edo period? If a pokemon's trainer was a samurai, would've commited sekkepu with it's trainer? Did regions go to war with each other?
One of the ideas I have is that the Pokemon League wasn't a simple contest, but a method of settling tribal disputes without bloodshed, and the Champion was akin to a shogun or something. Oh, and Ranger were originally a cult of pacifist-monks! :)
Yeah, a historical drama pokemon fanfic would be so cool

Hey, guys. For those don't know OUTSIDE the forums, I'm Issac Williams from the Library. I probably had the only normal name in the entire Library.
Anyway, those of you who read my fic "Pokemon: Souls of Eternity" before the Library closed, thank you. For those of you who's thinking that I'm a psycho, I'd better explain.
In a alternate universe, one without Ash and co., there resides a Trainer who made the history books - the youngest Trainer ever to get a college diploma. However, he gets into a fight with a guy who dissed his dizygotic (fraturnal) twin sister. He then kicks the sucker right into a wall 19 ft. away. 5 minutes later, a couple of Officer Jennies came to arrest Travis. However, Travis (the main character) bolted at around 60 mph. After 3 hours of chase, he returns home, slightly out of breath. When he was flipping through the channels, his mom surprised him and gave him a strange contraption she called the Fusion Unit (reason why the series has "Souls" in the title). Travis then leaves Twinleaf for adventure. Along the way to Sandjem, he meets a Chimchar named Son Goku. After they had an apple, a huge shadow fell over them. When they looked up, it was a huge swarm of Beedrill and Combee. Travis then grabbed Goku, than ran to warn Sandjem.
The next episode explains Olivia Chorcino, Travis' younger twin sister. After her friend Manny finds a beaten-up Piplup near some trash cans, the antogonists of Sandjem arrive. Olivia askes her whys Paris' is here (yes, I am making a reference to Paris Hilton), and she points to the Piplup. The Piplup suddenly gets up, jumps on Olivia's head, and demands that Paris frees his father. She then tells them that the Royale (his full name is Royale Domingeze de la Pinguino II [Pinguino means penguin in Spanish] - he said his name in a rant) was too weak, unlike his father, Royale I. Finally having enough of Paris and her little posse, Olivia fired a Hydro Pump (the Olympians can use Pokemon attacks) at them. She threatens the group to give them back Royale I, otherwise, the Police will find 6 frozen corpes (she was preparing an Ice Beam to prove her point. No sooner after Paris gave Olivia Royale I (in a Ultra Ball), the super swarm strikes. The air is filled with Beedrill and Combee. Trainers visiting Sandjem helped by fighting the swarm. Olivia helped and she saw Travis throwing fire balls (Travis has fire, Olivia has water and ice). Travis noticed that the swarm was mostly concentrated around Rowen's lab. Royale I came out of his Ultra Ball and fires a Hydro Cannon. The swarm starts to dissiapates, with considerably lesser numbers. When they entered the lab, they find from their cousin Lucas that Rowen was kidnapped by a Vespiquin. Travis then plots a plan (borderlining suicidial) to defeat Vespiquin and rescue Rowen.
And that's where I left off when the Library closed. After the swarm is disbanned, Travis and Olivia forms the Olympian Brigade. On the way to Jubilife, Travis and Olivia each catches a Shinx and Starly. The day after, they gain x-ray vision. Later on, during a match, Leo (Travis' Shinx) acindentally fires a Thunderbolt at a Croagunk. Goku comes out and fight the Croagunk in a Boxing match. After 4 rounds, Goku goes down, but refuses to say down. He then activated his Blaze ability in a fashion like this::saiyan:. With a souped-up Fire Punch/Blaze Kick combo, Goku defeats the Croagunk. Travis then captures the Croagunk with a Great Ball. And that's for the next two episodes - Buzz Wars: The Rise of the Olympians and The Boxing Match of the Century!

Time for a history lesson!
In the games, Mewtwo escaped the lab on Cinnabar and fled to the Unknown Dungeon. Mewtwo is a Legendary Pokemon.
The president of Silph Co has a Master Ball. It can catch any Pokemon, even Legendaries, without fail.
Giovanni, leader of Team Rocket, has the Earth Badge. It can make any Pokemon obey you regardless of level.
Team Rocket takes over Silph, steals the Master Ball, and uses it to catch Mewtwo. And the Earth Badge makes him obey Giovanni.

In the games, Mewtwo escaped Team Rocket's genetic labs on Cinnabar
That's where you're wrong. In the games, Mewtwo's creation is never connected with Team Rocket.
One can extrapolate quite easily (as most of the expanded canons have), but insofar as what we discover in the games, there's no stated connection.
But exploring the power of the Earth Badge (or any 8th badge for that matter) would be awesome.

Umm, hi? I came up with an idea for a fic, and I need to know if it's a good idea, overused, etc.
My general idea is that it takes place in the same world as the games, specifically Sapphire or Emerald, only one hundred years later. If you play the games, you know in Sapphire and Emerald, Team Aqua eventually disbands, never to be heard from again.
The idea itself is that Archie continued to study the sea, especially its mythology. Eventually, he stumbles upon a truth: A
relationship between Kyogre, Manaphy, and Phione. According to his findings, Kyogre is the King of The Sea, and during
Kyogre's dormant states, Manaphy inherits the title of 'King of the Sea' and the loyalty of all sea dwwlling Pokémon, along
with a boost in power. Kyogre can't die, but Manaphy can. So, if Kyogre is dormant and Manaphy dies, the title, loyalty, and
power is inherited by Phione, who is a very young, by legendary Pokémon standards, and naive.
In my 'fic's current time, one of Archie's descendants, whom I will refer to as D, finds his research papers. D grew up loving the immaculate beauty of the sea, finding solace there. She begins to develop a plan to kill Manaphy, and manipulate Phione in such a way it believes its doing the right thing with its own choice, but D is really in control, so she can control the thing that mattered to her most as a child.
Well, my main character, whom I call A, learns of their plot, and for a reason I've yet to decide, feels he needs to save Phione. So, he has to fight through their ranks, and try to convince Phione that its hurting innocent people, not avenging Manaphy, and that Team Aqua is the one that killed Manaphy.
This last part, I'm sure you'll dislike, but it's an OT 'fic. Sorry, but that's how I planned it out, so it'll start out with him collecting badges, before it gets to the Team Aqua 'arc', similar to Butterfree's TQFL. In case it isn't clear, I'm not planning on A collecting eight badges, competing in an anime-style league, and then fighting Team Aqua. It's more like four or five badges, mainly for the purpose of allowing him to become stronger, and then focus on defeating Team Aqua.
I appreciate any and all help, which is something I need.

How about the trainer who overslept soooo much on his first day that the proffesor had given away all the pokemon in his lab to all the other trainers who overslept, and all he has left is a big stick which he gives to the trainer to whack pokemon on the head with, so instead of battling other trainers with his pokemon he just runs up to their pokemon and whacks em' with a big stick. Also something with a wobuffet. i like wobuffets.

Well, I have previews for some of my story. . Perhaps you'd like to hear them? ^^
I seemed lost and confused. Was I in love? Or was I feigning it? My mind couldn't place its thought on the boy I wasn't sure I loved at all. Perhaps it was lust. Lust for that boy he so proudly shows when we go to the beach. Lust for the delicious, get-out-of-my-face attitude. Lust for even the exciting way he looks at me with those eyes. Those eyes that were as cold as ice to others, melting away as they saw me.
I was proud to be his friend, but I wanted to be proud to be his lover . . . No. . I wasn't sure what I wanted. It was all a lie. A lie to myself and a lie to him. I try to hide it, like I try to hide many things. Things like my lust for his brother. Things like my greed, my envy, my pride, my wrath, my lust. . What sin am I not committed of right down to a tee? I knew for a fact that I was a sufferer. A sufferer of sins, of lies, and of everything that had gone on in my pathetic life.
My life which has no meaning. . No soul. What was I really here for? Was it just to be alive? Just because my heart is beating, it doesn't mean I'm alive. It simply means I can function. To be without a heart is the same as to be with a heart. A cold heart that is melted away by the boy's stare.
Still, I can never figure out the difference between lust and love. Was love simply lust? No, love had these 'feelings' people speak of. I couldn't see the difference, both lust and love have certain feelings about them that I just couldn't differenciate from the other. If I can't figure out what the difference between lust and love is, how will I ever know if I love this boy?
Shinji. . Forgive me.
Well, what do you think? =] I tried to make it extremely deep to get the meaning across. Can you pick out the meaning?
