Domino-centric. The rest should fall into place from there. This was for a challenge on the word 'wondering',

So I sat there at the desk, poised as though I was going to start writing. I even had my hand out as if there was a pen twined in my fingers and paper to write things on.

But no words came. Nothing flowed across a page, nothing came to my lips.

It was amazing, really, what he had done. He had accomplished something that no one else had. He alone had that designation. It had taken years, and many attempts at it by others, and he did it the first time.

So many other words could have described it, but 'amazing' was the only one I could summon, and it sat silently in my mind, tunneling its way through my thoughts to the point where I couldn't have a thought without it.

It was amazing.

Amazing how he could live two lives for so long, one as the loyal agent and the other as the revolutionary.

Amazing how he gained access to our leader's office with such simple words.

Amazing how he thought nothing of firing over and over again until the blood soaked so deeply into the carpet that the floor underneath was red.

Amazing how he caught me in the hallway outside our room and talked to me as though nothing was wrong.

Amazing how he went for his gun again.

Amazing how he forgot he was out of bullets.

But the most amazing part was how he begged for mercy. How he expected it after what he had done. How he thought that I would let him get away with it.

He lay outside the open door as I remained at the desk. People who hadn't yet heard of the Boss' death gathered in puzzlement, with one demanding to know what had happened.

But all I could tell them was that it was amazing.

Domino turning on Giovanni seems to be a recurring theme in your fics. This was short but an excellent read. It had the feel of a thriller by Kellerman or Pearson.

She wasn't the one who turned on him, that was Bishasu (well...when I wrote it at 3 am I thought that part was obvious, but looking at it now, someone would have to be really familiar with my fics to get who the traitor was)

Who's Pearson?

And I'm not sure how I do it.

Excellent read indeed.

And I suspected who the traitor was ; though you're right, it's not very clear, and I only suspected because I know how you play that bunch.

I knew it was Bisashu even though I only read one of your fics before and that one was about Tracey,
I doubt Domino would refer to herself in third person and call herself male. xD

DOminocentric indeed.

Not that I would know (cough)

But, it's good writing.

I think the best line of all that had me laughing crazily was "Amazing how he forgot he was out of bullets."

Until then, it was serious. It was amazing how serious I took it. Amazing indeed.

Hmm...can't have that...I was basically trying to set that he didn't think things through as well as she thinks he did. Which kinda makes it even more 'amazing'. He's an impulsive guy, at least that's how he came across to me in the movie, and she never quite understood him.
