Icon Gallery. Need feedback.

Hey. I was wondering if I could make an icon gallery on bulbapedia. Arcy said it seemed good since we don't have the site up. But, how should I set it up? I have icons of 391 pokemon that myself and many others made. I know I have my tripod site but that sucks.
The icons would fall under the Bulbagarden category. How should it all look? Any ideas? The pages would display the icons like this:

So, I dunno how we should display them. Any thoughts on how to do this?

Like I told you on AIM, I think it would be kind of neat to include them on the Pokemon pages as a sort of extra.

No, not on 'pedia itself. You can have it on Archives and use the {{Archives|Item title}} link from 'pedia. You'll probably want to link to a page titled "Bulbasaur fan art" or something - to gather them together.

(You can also use Archive images on 'pedia without hassle, but I don't think it is necessary.)

I'll grant you an account when you come online.

In the meantime, I still need to work out the exact nature of Archives...

Zhen, Arcy said I could have it on Pedia. As did Evan. So, stop going against what they say. Im getting really tired of you going against their word. You aren't the boss of Bulbapedia. Evan is. It can go with the Bulbagarden category. All I wanted was an idea on how to set things up because I wasn't sure if they'd have little image boxes for the icons themselves.

And Arcy you did say it was okay to put them up when I said they'd go in the Bulbagarden category. Stop going back on your word. I know what you said. I can make an encyclopedia article on the icons since they're part of BMG.

No, I didn't LX. You've simply misunderstood what I was saying, or perhaps I misunderstood the question you were asking me.

Now, I am tired, and need to get up early tomorrow, so as far as I'm concerned, there's no further discussion on this. Bulbapedia is not a general repository of content, it is an encyclopedia of data. The icons just aren't encyclopedic.
In any case, as far as all these sort of Bulbapedia issues go, Zhen overrules everyone but the actual editors, and Evan is the head editor, thus overrulling everyone.

You can talk about the icons. Probably under your own article. But I refuse to have the whole gallery categorised and described on 'pedia.

I also prefer Archaic's interpretation of what he said. It may not be what you thought he was saying, but I was not witness to the conversation, so I cannot comment further.

And I do not like being talked to like that. I too have a title on 'pedia, and it is Managing Editor. That is to say, second only to Evan. Evan has not made any comment on this, but I expect Evan will share my opinion on what goes into 'pedia. Especially since we have a new site to deal specifically with this sort of things.

And Zhen, get used to it. I am tired of your arrogance. I am also tired of complaining to the others because of your attitude on pedia and when you deal with others. You seem to like to talk down to people instead of on the level. That's why I said that. So, can the arrogance would you?

Zhen, arrogant? :lol: You're saying that to the guy who's refused almost every single title, credit and compliment I've tried to give him? He's not being arrogant at all LX. And to be frank and honest, as you seem to be wanting us to all be, you aren't on the same level here. He overrules you (And me, for that matter.) on 'pedia issues, and on this specific one, he has overruled you. Unless he is overruled himself, the matter is closed.

I have no problem with that, D, Arcy. I'm just sick and damn tired of Zhen's attitude. All I really wanted was an idea of how they can be displayed in the image Archives. That's all. And Zhen goes crazy. Yes, Arcy misunderstood me and we can work things out but Zhen does not seem to listen o anything I say. So, how about it? Let's find a way we can display them in the image archives?

1)Archaic was not the only one to "misunderstand you", becasuse I got the same feeling he did out of the conversation. Perhaps you weren'T clear enough?

2)Yes, Zhen is somewhat bossy. But he IS your boss when it comes to pedia, so there's probably a good reason.

Moreover, his answer here isn't even particularly bossy.
